Well researched and interesting. The ending where he makes his choice was my favorite
even though he's almost certainly doomed by canon and the army of the dead

Just as good the second time around, and I'm so glad you posted it here. It's a unique point of view, and a great addition to the archive!
You really made me think about that battle with this, and about the myriad of possible differing perspectives.
