oh, please do continue! I love Elrond-Thranduil pairings, and your Haldir-Erestor relationship is very intriguing! I am also loving the glimpses of Glorfindel/Ecthelion story that seeps through the story. Beautifully done. Please update soon!

Everybody's finding love and kisses so far. That is very sweet. A tiny bit of angst still but not too much. This last chapter was just sweet. giggle

Elladan took Thranduil's wise counsel and spoke what was in his heart to Legolas. Way to go Elladan. Good thing Legolas recognize his feelings to be mutual love too.

Was curious about Legolas' comment about having been infatuated but never in love. Usually having been infatuated means a person had very strong feelings about someone. Maybe having been infatuated, he realizes the difference in his feelings about Elladan, though not being love at first sight or love struck as being the real deal.

Those spiced apple pastries sounded so delicious. Haldir is one multi-talented elf to be so versatile in the kitchen too. Rumil seemed to act as if Haldir was making the pastries as a means to seduce Erestor. I thought Haldir just did it because Rumil was a finicky eater. Haldir did not pursue Erestor in the kitchen or in the baths when he saw him.

I've just read thd that I forgot to review your earlier chapters. How fortunate for Elrond to get approval and acceptance from Celebrian, and now his father-in-law to find happiness with a new lover. Not a common occurence I would think. Thranduil is such an understanding and caring elf to want to listen to Ellads cos concerns.

I am trying to catch up reading after having the flu.
This has been fun watching all the stories and pairings swirl around.
I love Haldir in the kitchen although according to Tolkien men did a lot of the cooking in the elven realms. I wholly approve of that concept myself. But then you couldn't have had that very nice moment in the kitchen between Haldir and Erestor and I wouldn't want to lose that.
I can't wait for the match up between Haldir/Erestor. That will be fun. giggle

Can imagine Haldir's dilemma with being next door to his secret love and fearing his nig tal talking in his sleep. Can't wait to find out more. Was wondering what happens when he is on duty in the Golden Woods and sleeps overnight? Wouldn't that be a problem since stealth is important?

Aiya, Haldir talks in his sleep and is given a room right next door to Erestor--Haha! Can't wait for the night to come. Loved the teasing between Haldir, Rumil, and Orophin. As always, look forward to more.

An update--Yea! Glad to see Thranduil pull Elrond outside. Loved the flashback describing the beginnings of Thranduil's love for the Half-elf. It's too bad that in the present the King has not been released from his marriage vows. But Thranduil is just what Elrond needs! Look forward to more!

This story is so good. The last paragraph of chapter 6, you describe the kiss between Thranduil and Elrond and my heart started flutter. It was just too beautiful. Sorry I have not given more reviews. I am just too lazy but know that I read everything you write. You are a wonderful writer.
    Take Care,
    Teri

Lovely chapter, and as always beautifully written! Legolas and Elladan have much in common, and Elladan truly needs a good friend right now. Just hope Thranduil can do as much for Elrond. Hope your schedule lightens up, and that you do well on your tests. Look forward to more in the future.
