Heh heh, nice touch at the end. Once again, I loved it! Time to sleep, can't read all of your stories in one night. Lol.

    Part V of 2
Arwen missed them. Well she's still young. Big brothers can be a real headache at times. She'll learn that in the fullnes of time.
She has become a fearsome archer at 'Lorien. How sweet.
But Legolas realizes he will be leaving soon and is very sad. He gets a little reprieve but not for long.
Well at least they had a really nice picnic for the twins begetting day and the whole family was together again. Celebrian had some sound advice for the prince. Yes he loved Imladris but he loves the twins even more. So he can treasure those memories and realize he will meet them again. That is great advice except he still has to leave.
So he leaves saddened, full of happy memories, and with the hope that spring will bring a visit from his friends once again.
Then after all the parting is such sweet sorrow moments we get "Arwen". Now the twins can suffer from a well guided elfling. Revenge can be so sweet. giggle

Ah the revelation chapter. Naturally now that Glorfindel is back and he is putting the screws on the younglings they need to find another outlet for their energy. Wandering in the woods is always good for filling time and it lets them make themselves scarce.
And here it comes. Enlightenment for the prince at last about the ancient path. I loved when Legolas cut off Elladan's ability to speak as well as breathe. That was cute.
What a shock for an innocent elf. Something he had never even dreamed of probably. Although his thought of "Oh, that's how they do it" makes me wonder.
It was good of Elladan and Elrohir to take things so calmly and explain so smoothly without going off the deep end. They handled things very nicely. At least one wood elf wasn't so blind as to what really goes on in the woodland realm
The prince did learn a valuable lesson. Keeping his eyes open to learn all that he can. No one can do better than that.
I thought Glorfindel and Eresdid did a good job as counselors for the twins. It is only to be expected that Legolas will learn things about other realms that don't fit in with his world view. He is very young after all. The twins, for all that they aren't that old, have much more exposure to other cultures and ways of life. So the prince is going to learn a lot from these two. The king just better get used to it. giggle

    Part III of 2
The need for vigilance still in Middle Earth despite the dimishing of Sauron. Hisionsions are still around. Never a dull moment in Arda with all the baddies.
Erestor wanting to head for the Grey Havens now that the mighty balrog slayer is on duty. I like your Glorfindel. He is like a mountain of strength. No wonder the twins are more careful around him.
I wholly approve of naked elves and here you gave us five of them. What bounty. The image of them in elven grace swimming against the current, fighting the mighty river at its swiftest and then reg sug surrounded by nature. Oh my is it getting warm in here or is it just me? What a lovely sight that must have been. I would give a lot to see this in living color.
Elrohir draws Legolas and captures his elven grace, beauty and his fiery spirit. Oh my again. Yes Legolas you are truly beautiful. Not just because you are a prince but because you are really easy on the eyes.
We are back he fhe fact that they are equals. They can be more comfortable with each other. It would be much harder to be this easy with those in their peer group. You might never be able to really trust what you are being told by said peer group. Legolas has learned that early on. More is also required of them than their peers.
So Elladan recognizes that Legolas is the one to tap into Elrohir's boundless love. His twin now has a boon companion for life. And for one of Elrohir's temperment it will be for life and death.
That was a great scene. giggle

    Part II of 2
How sweet the twins are staying home to entertain their company. Will the vale exist when it's Lord and Lady return? Will the inhabitants have fled for the Grey Havens in abject terror? Will the trio find themselves locked in their rooms or a dungeon (supposing Imladris has one)? Only time and reading the next few chapters will tell.
Ah the pranks begin. I am amazed some elf hasn't committed a kinslaying with these two and now three around.
Now Legolas learns one of the hard chs bes before the Peredhil. A mortal life or an immortal one. To Legolas an immortal there must seem to be no choice at all. He doesn't have the lure of men in his blood or history. How easy to let slip the reins when one wearies and just let go. No elf could really understand that.
So for Elrohir only love will determine his course. Only love will make the endless stream of time bearable. Wow. What a romantic. Since Elrohir has opened up his heart to Legolas, the prince is shocked enough by this glimpse of the choice facing his friend to do the same. We see the connection now that has been forged between these two. The flame that was lit in the Greenwood begins to burn a little brighter. Legolas must have a say in this choice of his closest friend. Perhaps the love of a good friend would be enough for Elrohir. Very passionate scene here of further binding in a friendship.
Then we end with a cute prank and a scene between Glorfindel and Erestor. You know how to sprinkle humor to balance the seriousness of your story arc. giggle

Going to visit his friends. Yippee!! Look at it this way, the harder it is to get to the more beautiful it is or you wouldn't even bother to go. Sounds like something Pippin would say.
Ah so Legolas knows of Vilya. He must be very trusted by the twins. This kind of information is very closely guarded and very few have this knowledge.
The twins have been able to visit the Greenwood four times to Legolas' one. He has been busy improving himself in those sixteen years. The twins are past their majority now so they must get to travel more often. Also Elrond keeps in touch with all races and groups of elves unlike the wood elves who are rather insular.
"You got lost!" Well since the way is quite well hidden that isn't surprising but it does make a nice greeting. I think the Imladris elves probably have a little help from an outside source to keep quite hidden.
Your description of life in Rivendell is lovely. We get to feel the peacefulness, timelessness and learning that fill the Last Homely House. A truly wonderful place to be as Bilbo learns one day. A place to sing, read, laugh and enjoy all the pleasures of Middle Earth without worry of harm or passpassing of time. Sounds great to me. Positively Edenic.
Arwen has been born and is a whirlwind. Not the serene maiden yet. Oh sure Elrohir you don't think it is seemly for your baby sister to do exactly what you did as an efling. Get over yourself.
Good set up chapter with enough information to keep us on our toes. Some history for future reference and great images of what it would be like in Imladris. Can't do better than that.
Now for some fun in Imls fos for the prince and his company. giggle

That was great. You are trully a talented writer and your story definitely has a very LotR feel to it, in regards to style. And I absolutely loved the ending. Oh my, looks like the twins will have to start watching their backs now...

I love the way you portrayed Arwen as so tenacious. She does seem lihe whe would be very high-spirited. I also appreciate the slow and steady way in which Legolas is becoming closer with Elrohir. I am eager to continue.

    *lol*

The last event was just great! I was already wondering when Glorfindel and Erestor would retaliate :)
And now that Legolas knows there can be a thing between male elves, it's one less hurdle for Elrohir to take!

    Keep writing.

Are Erestor and Glorfindel such chickens when it comes to the twins that they have to get a little elfling to do their work for them? *LOL* but then, they won't retaliate as much against Arwen as they would the other two.
I'm really enjoying this series so far. Can't wait for the next part!

Oh, I feel so sorry for Imladris! Those three are absolute terrors!! Hmm... will the councilors get their revenge? Give the trio a taste of their own medicine perhaps? This is a fun storyline! Can't wait for more. :)
