*collapses* Such a lovely and intriguing story. Please do continue as soon as you can, I am highly interested in reading on. This Cross-Over (as it kinda of is) within the same world is fun and interesting and not something I have read often. I am enjoying ichlychly.

Short and sweet. I see the mist has now deposited them in a dark, dank, scary cave palace. Just the place to have a Trial of some sort. This is kind of creepy. giggle

I really think your story is great! So intriguing that once I started reading I couldn'tp, ap, and now I'm dying for updates. This fic could very well stand alone as a fantasy novel (of course not in terms of length), such is the fantastic plotline with direction, adventure and theme.

Can't wait to read more as your story unfolds.

Legolas the Light in the dark!
So far a good AU story.
Its interessting to learn the differences and similarities of the Middel-Earthes.
Knowing just as much or just as less as the characters.
Looking forward to see how you write the relationship developments between L, E and H.

Ooh! This is cool. Can't wait to see what happens next. |^_^| I wonder if Legolas will return. I certainly hope so, but then Elrohir will be left behind. Aiya, I dunno how you are gonna work everything out, but it is definitely excellent so far.

I am very sorry to hear about your cat. How is your little Binks? I hope nothing serious. I write because I have just finished reading what you have written and have very much enjoyed it and my own cat is sprawled out in my lap- which I love until my legs start to go all tingling and uncomfortable but I don't have the heart to make him move because it is not in his nature to sit in anyone's lap. Anyway- I hope your cat recovers!

I liked that Legolas was still in touch with the trees in the forest and that he sang to the forest. Can't keep a wood elf down.
Nice and scary with the mist and then someone directing them to the broken down palace of Mirkwood. And Mirkwood really seems to be living up to its name. So dark you can't even see the sky.
I am interested in what the loud sounding forms they see in the mist are. This may not be important and you may not explain them but they sounded cool.

I am so sorry to hear about your cat. I watch Emergency Vets occasionally and the things cats and dogs swallow is unreal. I hope s/he is better and home soon. You don't need any more stress this year what with your dad and all. Take care of yourself so you can stay well yourself. giggle

Hi Aithlin, I like your story very much; don't know how I missed it before, but I just read the entirety of what you have posted so far, and it is an intriguing tandeendeed! I especially like the mist-Elves who keep appearing to Legolas, and the way the land reacted to the re-activation, as it were, of a fea once thought dead. I look forward to seeing where you go with the story line!

Also, I am praying for your kitty; I have 5 of my own, and would be very unhappy and upset if any of them became ill. I'm only partly neo-Pagan, the other part of me is quite Christian, and has no problem doing magic, raising power, sending healing energy to the cat, or sending clarity of vision to the vet so they will know exactly what to do for little Binks. May he (she?) be completely recovered soon, and home happily purring in your lap as you try to write! :-) Blessings, Jasta

Nice conversation between Glorfindel and Legolas about missing his family and friends. But aren't they his friends. How disorienting would that be. Also expressing doubts about this little trial thing that is going to happen. Who wouldn't be uneasy about what is going to happen when you go up against Sauron.
So Legolas loves Elrohir. I hope that doesn't cause problems like it did the first time. This will be interesting to see how this works out.
I can't wait to see how Mirkwood has changed and weird things are living there now. I like your story for the weird rather than personal relationships. I know that relationships are what most people tune in for. So I am glad they are on the road to adventure. No matter how messy it gets. giggle
And thanks for the update. It will shut Legolas up for awhile.

The plot always thickens when you are the one writing the fiction. I must say, this is one of your darkest creation. You are one amazing person Aithilin and never cease to amaze me. I love this fic although it took me awhile to finish reading what you've posted so far. Sorry about your father, we have not been chatting for so long, and I only found out after reading your fiction. I hope you are doing good, talk to me if you need to. I'm always here.

Also, on a happier note, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! I can't remember the exact date but I know it's this week. I hope you had or will have a great birthday and hope that all your wishes do come true.

As promised, I will not leave a 'update ASAP' note......but will rather say that I've enjoyed what you've written so far and it's amazing to read LOTR character being written in different dimension, although it's in the same place, same time but a different plain. It's like X-Files and Hitchcock all together. Excellent wing ing and I will be here reading when the next update is up.

    Big Sis *wink*

Well now we know why Legolas died. A messy, bloody triangle distracted the group long enough to bring him down. Poor AU Legolas. And he was going to finish the trials at 'Lorien and Mirkwood. So we know he is pure at heart even if Haldir and Elrohir are not quite as pure.
I liked idea of trials and books and fellowships again. This is enjoyable.
As far as the stew goes maybe this is a new, rough red wine and time will bring it to fine mellow fruition. OK Enough metaphors. Let's just enjoy the story.
Thank you for the update. We are waiting for a huge winter ice storm so I am ready to read a lot since we can't go anywhere. giggle

I like Aragorn and Arwen in the nursery especially after seeing ROTK. I liked the scene in the forest very much.
So Elladan has this feeling of 'not knowing' and it had heralded the torment of his mother. Not a good sign for all those waiting to hear news of Legolas.
I suppose next we will get some more insight on Legolas' plight in a very AU of middle earth. Can't wait. It is too exciting. giggle
