A lil fic, but i still enjoyed it. So, Legolas has a younger sister now. Well, I guess his parents can't keep off of each other. Then again they ARE young for eternity... Um, Nevermind. Lol. Time to read another!!

Ibeenbeen awful about reviewing this series, but I've enjoyed it a great deal. Your writing is wonderful and the storyline is reasonably faithful to canon - the series definitely fits into Tolkien's world. I especially appreciate the time you've taken to develop the characters and plot, both of which are sorely lacking in slash lately.

Legolas seems to be a particular favorite among the OOC/AU/slave/rape badslash writers, so a really good, thoughtful approach to the character is all the more a wonderful treat. And I'm always happy to see Thranduil in a positive light.

All the girls love a soldier and all the ellyth love a warrior. A few elon love a warrior too but they can't let on. Well I see why the maidens are hanging around with their tongues hanging out, the twins are sparring and showing off their studly skills. I would be there too. My it is getting warm in here. I always seem to use that phrase around those three. Grin.
Now here comes the third point in this triangle, of friendship, nothing more. He has grown up a lot and become very desirable for all the ellyth, and probably elon too. Oh my real beefcake here.
So the prince is not as wild as the twins in the partner chasing department. Well blonds are always portrayed as not being as hot blooded as brunettes. Time will tell. We won't dwell on stereotyping until we see how hot blooded he is.
So Elladan is getting worried about how Elrohir feels about Legolas. He dotes on him, would move Middle Earth for him, he introduced him to the carnal pleasures yet sees him as still innocent. That is so sweet. But Elladan is still worried about Elrohir's heart, maybe he is smitten and this won't work in the Greenwood since they don't follow the ancient way. What a set up.
Oh Legolas has a sister. I will have to call her Nim since I am lousy with names. She seems so sweet but she overheard the twins conversation. Those twins seem to be have loose tongues around the children of Thranduil. OOPS. I doubt she will forget this conversation the way Legolas did when he was soused.
Nim thinks they are well matched and Elladan thinks they could be perfectly matched. Oh dear this doesn't bode well from the future. But we need to remember that elves have all the time in the world.
I liked Elladan leaving them confused. That was cute. giggle

Uh oh... It's a shame that it can't be. Hmmm, maybe Legolas and Elrohir will be the ones to change it.

That was everything the title named it to be. It truly was a tender thing, and near heart wrenching in the improbability of Legolas and Elrohir being together in that way. I cannot wait to see how you get around the beliefs of the people of the Wood.

Well written little interlude. I can't wait for the next part of this series. So when is Elrohir finally going to admit he does have feelings for Legolas, beyond friendship? And just how perceptive is Legolas' little sister? You left us with a lot to think about. :)
