This was a really touching story, I enjoyed how you made Haldir insightful and observant. I thought the bit where the boy commented he was beautiful to be really sweet.

Hmmm...... I find it odd that this fic isn't overloaded with reviews. This is an excellent piece of writing, the tension and fear of the upcoming battle was subtley built and very real. Love this a lot.
