How sad! the second Elladan said "yrch" I knew what would happen. But I'm glad Legolas tried to help Segion in the end. (In this reviews, I try to spell the names off the top of my head...don't laugh at me if i'm wrong. lol)

The king is very relieved that Legolas still hasn't been "tainted" If the king has a ways to go as far as the ancient path is concerned then the whole realm will have a long ways to go. Legolas is still in the no, not me, nope, never, nada, absolutely not stage.
And another nice discussion about why Legolas just can't cope with the idea yet. He is an elf, he has thousands of years to think about things like this. As Elladan points out you can still choose. If Legolas never wants to bed an ellon that is his choice. He just needs to know that he has a choice. Elrohir still in mild shock here. This will be interesting. giggle

Poor Sirgon. I say that a lot but I think you have chosen him to be a poor kind of elf. At least he had a really good heart to heart with Ellandan. They are both sorry about how things worked out with Legolas. It will take time to break down any barriers with him.
    ORCS!!!
Well Sirgon is history with hideous orc poison in his system and far away from the healers.
Even if Sirgon had to die he died happy. He got to cuddle and kiss with Legolas. When he wakes up in Halls of Waiting he will have great memories.
Could this be the first step for the prince accepting the duality of his own nature? And Elrohir didn't like it one little bit. Neither did the king but we know why the king didn't. Well we kind of know why Elrohir didn't either but that is for the future.
That was a real tear jerker for a chapter. giggle

This was a great chapter. First we get poor Sirgon all bereft of family now and clinging to Legolas and friends as never before so he gets looped. Poor elf. Then we get in vino veritas and he spills his guts to Legolas who is stunned and gets his first kiss, well first kiss from an ellon. It is one thing to be able to rationally know something in an intellectual way but another entirely to be faced with the reality of it. Now a good friend has confronted Legolas with the true nature of something he had rarely seen evidence of and his reaction is not as farsighted or calm as he thought it could be. No one has ever approached him before. Well I hope not he is the king's son. OOH His second kiss and total panic sets in and he flees for his virtue.
OK the big discussion with the twins. All about the birds, the bees and the forest trees. Poor horrified Legolas. This is no longer a matter of vague discussion. It has become very personal. Have the twins ever..you know. Are you kidding. There isn't a race, gender or color that they these two wouldn't have a roll in the hay with. Legolas is going to die from blusing too much if he isn't careful.
Now famous last words. He would never, never, never even if the Valar sent someone especially for him. Ah but he wouldn't be able to resist if the Valar willed it and then they howl again at the look of horror on his face. I loved it. giggle

That was a very interesting discussion by the king and one of his advisors about Legolas being the best suited to be king. We know he is exceptional but now the king thinks so too.
OUCH The king knows Sirgon's secret now. If this were 'Lorien all would be fine but it is the woodland realm and these things are not even imagined there. What would Sirgon's father sf hef he knew? At least he is leaving.
Ah a lovely romantic walk and then those dratted twins come along and ruin everything. Well from Sirgon's POV anyway. So Sirgon snaps and makes a real fool of himself. Yes he has been troubled of late.
This was a great scene with Elladan, Legolas and the horse. Legolas scared everyone to death with his patented horse flip antics. Sirgon of course sees how cool and gorgeous Legolas looks while thinking he would be picking prince pieces up off the ground after the horse trampled him. Then Sirgon just fades into the woods. Elladan on the other hand knows that something must be done for Sirgon and that was a nice discussion of what may be wrong and what they might need to do.
So Legolas ends up with the magnificent horuch uch to his older brother's dismay. Ha. giggle

OOPS I hit the wrong button.
The twins are here and boy does everyone know it. Eru help Mirkwood. Even the king can't keep up or cope with these three together. I love the description of how good they were in Rivendell but when they get their third point in the triangle they revert to elflings again. Grin.
But poor Sirgon feels more and more like a fifth wheel. Well if you are really good friends then maybe you would feel jealous. Since he doesn't seem to be interested in females HMMM and he seems to have no other close friends then Legolas is all he has and the twins, although they like him and know him from 'Lorien, are here to spend as much time with the prince as possible.
Now things come to a head. The openess and absolute fixity of the three in their brotherhood when they sing together around the fire. Poor Sirgon. He has fallen in love with the prince. Now he has been exposed to the ancient way in 'Lorien I am sure but he knows that the prince is off limits in the woodland realm. No wonder he is jealous. He has fallen in love with the prince and what can he do about it here and now? giggle

OOh Forbidden Fruit sounds good doesn't it?
    Part I of 7
Here comes Sirgon again. I really like the way you explain your OCs. Here you have aractracter that will undoubtedly make a mark on this story and you introduced him back in the beginning and then sent him off to cook nicely so you could bring him back for a purpose. Your description is so great of one who never fit in while in his new home and was so glad to get to come back to the Woodland Realm.
Of course he is captivated by the grown up prince. Who wouldn't be? I enjoyed Legolas slowly bringing Sirgon back up to speed with all their friends and making sure he was not left out and lonely. That is your Legolas. Very careful of not abusing his position but using his influence to help one he calls friend. He doesn't abandon his friends.
And Sirgon does have a hard time. Anyone would. Elvon'on't deal well with change and much has changed in Mirkwood. Even the name has changed. 'Lorien is unchanged until the end so living there would be living in a timewarp. Quite an adjustment leaving. giggle

More tears. So now Legolas knows the full truth about Elven-kind. His fear and apprehension were understandable. It says much about his character, at least as you have portrayed him, that he would look past his own preferences to give a friend some comfort to ease his pag. g. You do not write anything without purpose, do you? Even this, which did not have much to do with Legolas and the twins, furthered the plot significantly. As I said before, you are truly weaving a tale moreso than writing a story. It is rare to find such well thought out and well written works of fanfiction.

Oh no! This is just so sad, but I am glad Sirgon's passing was alleviated by Legolas.

    *sigh*

You know, Elrohir is very good at hidding his feelings. Even when Legolas says he has a hard time believing he would ever lay with another male...a very impresive chapter!

Poor Sirgon. And to have Legolas' first exploration with a male in that situation, has to have scarred him in some way as well as his own natural feelings against it. Oh well. Can't wait for the next part. :)

Hmmm.... now you have me really wondering how El and El are going to be feeling after their little talk with Legolas. Their conversation doesn't give much hope for a romance between Legolas and Elrohir. Will this make Elladan back off of trying to push his brother to admit his feelings, maybe? You've really got me wanting more!

.... as for not putting down my e-mail, I just don't like to put it out there to much. but I am will to give it if specifically asked.

I think the horse must have fallen for Legolas' spell as well. ;) You have me anxious for Legolas' talk with Sirgon. That should be a very interesting (hehe) conversation. And it's not fair that they won't let Legolas compete in the Archery contests. If he wins every time, it should just force the others to want to become even better. *LOL*
I'm truely enjoying this series and hungrily await the next chapter!
