Reviews for A Healing Touch

Oh, yes, I like! No, wait, I LOVE! Very much indeed!

Especially Erestor. I loved him when he was cranky, but I think I love him even more now that I know the reason behind his temper. Too right of the other elves not to say anything in the pool, probably would revert him back to how he was.

I just hope Glorfindel's bandage didn't get aet after the twins' folling around. But Leggy's little comment was SO cute!

Thank you very much! My eyes are now blood-shot from crying so much when Leggy had to say goodbye to his frined. Happy now? Do you like making your faithful readers and reviewers shed a few tears each and every chapter? 'Vos if you do, then I think perhaps you love it so much you may just go out of your way just to make it happen! lol

And, sorry, but what does 'major-domo' mean? I've never heard of it before.

Anyway, got a lot of other stuff to do, so, can't wait for the next update, hope it's soon,

    Luv Mawgy

Ch 9 - You are going to spoil us with your timely updates, but I'm not complaining. That was a perfect conclusion to the dragon sequence. I love the roof top scene too. At the beginning of the chapter you mentioned your web page in one of you responses to a viewer. I'd love to visit your page if you could give me the link.

Thank you for another beautiful chapter! I can't wait to see what you do next...

Again, exellent work, I think i might be addicted to this story...
The drawif lef legolas and the twins has sorta turned into legolas and elrond...
Still black-and-white sketch form at the moment, need to colour it...

I love the baby dragon. I've read all Anne McCaffrey's books so you know I am a dragon aficionado.
Nuarhir is too cute. Yes Legolas will have to return the baby to his mother but not before they have some adventures.
Can you imagine what he would do as he was getting bigger? When little he destroyed the twins room. Imladris would be in ruins.
Poor Glorfindel. The dragon got him good.
I really like the twins playing with Legolas. I love scenes of a little Legolas having a good time.
This weekend we'll be seeing grown up Legolas on the big screen, as well as other elves, hobbits and assorted men. We can't wait. giggle

You're story, my dear, is the best i have read in a VERY long time. It brought tears to my eyes (and my cheeks, and my chin) and inspired so many drawings (The image of the two brothers comforting Legolas was just crying out to be drawn). I LOVE Legolas, and Elrond, and Glorfindel, in fact, i just love your characters! You really do develop them well, and they feel more like personal friends han words on a page. I don't know too much about this, but my mum (a writer herself) told me that was the mark of a good writer.
I like the way you've taken into account the way trauma and low self esteem affect people (and elves). I have pretty low self-esteem, but this story made me feel better
Thank you, and keep it up!

OMG, where do you get this stuff!? A baby orphan dragon...adorable. And he is the perfect friend for Legolas to champion, as he is a kind of orphan too. This is the sweetest story. It is definately a part of my short list of favorite Legolas fics. I love the detail, the plot, the relationships, and the beautiful characterization of Legolas. One of my favorite scenes so far is where you mentioe wie wild pig Glorfindel killed and Legolas' powerful reaction to it. I love how he is described as a pure hearted elfling because it makes him all the more loveable. I think that is what others react to most in him, such as Elrond, the twins, and the big man himself-Glorfindel. I can't thank you enough for this fun story. Please update soon! I know you have been wonderfullmelymely with your posts, but I just want this to go on and on.

Elladan and Elrohir ARE in the movie. I have seen it twice already, and verified it. If you want to know where email me, if I post it here, someone else may see it and get angry at me for spoiling it.rdanrdan is also in it.

Ok, fair enough. Still, it would have been a good tense moment for the two Elves that could then have lots and lots of cuddles and sweet words transferred between the two, though I suppose that was done the next day anyway, so no biggy. And, I realise Elrond has seen Leggy naked because he's a healer, but when I wrote those comments you hadn't yet mentioned that Elrond bathed him every night.

Aw, the dragon sounds SO cute. But, I'm with the red-head on this. Leggy keeping Nuarhir is only going to end in trouble. And, I really liked how the dragon refferred to the Elves as the two-legged beings. That was adorable.

You know, if it weren't for Leggy being up to something, then I'd swear Erestor is out to get Leggy. But, as Leggy is currently keeping a dragon in his room, I'll let it slide for now. Good thing no one else hoticoticed, well, except for Glorfindel, but he thinks it's just fear and something medical.

Touching moment at the end there. It's nice how Leggy not only gets a pet, but also a friend who understands how he feels. Kinda makes me think he should be able to keep the creature when the others find out, though I suppose they'll be against that. Stupid adults are always quite predictable when it comes to big, dangerous beasts. lol

Ok, now, I realise you're no doubt doing you're best to get these chapters out quickly, but, please hurry. I was used to getting a new chapter every day, then, suddenly, I had to wait half a week! I almost died when I woke up and found no update that first day! Come on, you don't need sleep... ;P PLease, I NEED to find out what happens to Leggy and his new friend. How will the twins cope with their room being destroyed? Will Elrond find anything medically unusual about the boy? Will Glorfindel ever be forgiven for killing an innocent boar? Will Erestor discover Leggy's secret? what will happen to Nuarhir? These are all questions I desperately need answers to. So, please, update soon and I'll love you, update sooner, and I'll love you forever! Update wehenver you're ready, well, then, I guess I'll still love you forever for just sharing this fic with me and all your other readers. SO nice of you to do so.

I thought I got an e-mail saying they were going to take R rated stories off. That would suck so badly if they did because it's kind of stupid. I can see why they took NC-17's off but R's? They are stupid.

Anyway... a dragon... cute! Never thought of Dragon's living in Middle Earth but I can go with that... keep going, I don't mind the graphic stuff, I usually skip over it..... ::sorry if that sounds rude or anything:: and go right to the aftermath. LOL.

    Update again soon!

    (part 2)

What would we kill you for? There wasn't anything in there worth killing you for. I thought it was just one really nice, sweet chapter.

I thought it was really good how Elrond seems to know everything that goes on in his household. Poor Legolas, he thought he had been really quiet and careful not to be seen too. And I thought it was cute how Elrond was a little suspiscious of what the gift might do to him. Seriously, for a moment there I thought he wouldn't be too surprised if Legolas was giving him a baby warg! Oh, and it was so cute when Leggy asked if Elrond loved him even more now that he got another vase to replace the old. And, although it's nice Leggy has talent, I just can't help but think that it would have been just as sweet if the vase was a little lop-sided and not quite even. I mean, it's the thought that counts, so even if the quality of the gift isn't that great, just that Leggy had gone to the trouble of making this strangely-shaped vase, therondrond would have loved it all the more for the uniqeness of the gift.... Just my opinion of course, but it was still quite sweet how it worked out.

Anyway, oh, I loved how Glorfindel told Legolas he was babbling. Elrond's getting soft? Well, I suppose that just goes to show how much everyone loves our little greenleaf. Though, I suppose considering Glorfindel was somewhat a little emotionally unbalanced at the time, it's good it wasn't him that spanked Leggy. If it was him, the poor little elfling wouldn't be able to sit for a week!

Oh, and that really was a cute litttle story about Glorfindel's past. Especially how his niece and Leggy have the pleading eyes in common. Just sweet.

And how Leggy refuses to sing to anyone but Glorf is just adorable!

That last little paragraph is nice, though I don't quite fuly undertsnad what is meant by it. Though I'm sure I'll find out in later chapters.

Anyway, thanks again for another great update, can hardly wait for the next one,

    (part 1)

Hehe, I like the half/truth thing. I do it ALL the time! My parents ask me why I'm home so late, I say I missed the train or bus I was meant to catch, which is true, but the reason as to why I missed it never comes up, so it's alright. :)

Oh, he's gonna make a vase all himself? How sweet! And, I bet Elrond will end up loving it more than the expensive one. It's amazing how quickly Legolas can get himself in and out of trouble so quickly. One day he's the worst Elfling in Rivendell, then next he'll be everyone's favourite Elf again.

Now, I realise Elrond has told Leggy not to fear anyone in Rivendell, but I can't help but think that some sort of flash back as to what happened to Leggy should have come back to him when Elrond told him to remove his leggings. I just think it would be a good way to add a bit more tension to the scene, and perhaps a way to show that Leggy may not be ready to go home yet, if he isn't, that is.

Oh, poor Glorfindel. I feel so sorry for him. Stupid Elves and their peer pressure. Urgh, such a horrible thing. Can't wait to see what Leggy does with the clip. I'm sure that will make Glorf feel a lot better, though I suppose Elrond's already had a good go at that. huh?

YAY! I got the longest reply again! Thanks!
Well, don't worry, I'll always be here to make you feel better.
Yeah, I used to be picked on heaps, but then I moved 1800 kimlometres away, and went to a public school, rather than a religious one, and it hasn't happened since. But kids can defiinitely be cruel. And,, it's more than that, it's how they do it on purpse, knowing they are being mean, and not caring how they hurt people. I'd like to think grown-ups are more sympathetic than that.

Thanks for the update, I'll go read the second part now.
