I still don't get it.Thranduil's wife knew he was the sire.Well,I like the baby's name.At least Glorfindel seems to be in Erestor's life for the long haul.

Ie yoe your story so much! I keep waiting for the fact that the baby has green eyes to come up, but no one seemes to notice. Not that that's a sign that it was definately Thranduil who sired the child, but how many more elves with green eyes are there? I'd like to think it was Thranduil, and maybe he was so drunk he doesn't remember?
And the relationship between Legolas and Elrohir is creeping me out a little. Maybe its because Legolas is so pushy, but I keep getting the feeling he's going to push things a bit too far.
Oh, wait! I just had a thought! I may be totally off track here, but where was Legolas during the whole incident? Oooooh, that would be really creepy.
Anyway, can't wait 'til the next update! The anticipation is killing me!

This chapter touched me sooo deeply!
The way Erestor finally went to his child nearly brought tears to my eyes!
*sniffle* Oh how beautifully written that scene with the child was! I loved it!
    I love this story!
It's great and coming along brilliantly, I cannot WAIT for more! I want the truth out from the lips of Thranduil! What on earth is going on! lol.

    Eagerly awaiting your next update!!!

Wow. Sorry for the long delay in reviwing, but for the last couple days I couldn't seem to access the site. I don't know if anyone else was having trouble getting on, but I sure was! I was just about to write a review and email it to you when the site finally started working again. So anyway, here I finally am! Sorry again about the delay.

Well, anyway, wow. Lots of stuff going on this chapter. So much, in fact, I'm not quite sure where to begin. I guess I'll just start will what was kind of bugging me that most this chapter: Erestor sure seems to be taking his good 'ol time fading, I can tell you that! How much time was this chapter suppose to take place after the birth? A week or so I think you said somewhere, but I may have to check that out again myself... I don't know, it just struck me as strange since where you left off in the last chapter what with Erestor finally starting the final stage of fading and had entered the last phase where death was almost starting to become an imminent thing. that's at least how it felt to me. He's a stubborn little elf it seems...

Aw! that one part where Glorfindel went to take the baby to see Erestor made my poor little heart begin to break! When he tried to touch the baby and it started to cry because he was so cold from the fading really touched me. Does Glorfindel suspect Erestor's fading or is he still mad because he thinks Erestor lied to him? I hope he figures things out soon and comes to our poor fading councilor's aide! He's almost gone! Which brings me (yet once again! ^_^) to my infamous plea... FADING SCENE!!!!!

Come on! I know you want to write a scene like that just as much as I want to read it! Doesn't Celeborn know he's fading? Surely he should talk to Glorfindel and get all this straightened out. I mean, our glorious Balrog Slayer can't keep ignoring Erestor forever. Before long he's going to have to step in and ave the poor elf and show him there is someone that cares about whether he lives or dies. Because no one else seems to be giving much of a damn about him right now!

Which brings me to another point. What's Galadriel been doing all this time? Spying? Surely even without her ring she should be able to see something's up with Thranduil's wife right now. (I'm sorry! But I can never remember her name!) And who's this Melcer? Someone else she's trying to use to further discredit Erestor and save Thranduil's reputation? The plot just keeps thickening...

And what does Thrnaduil seem to know that he's not telling anyone? And why was he glaring at Erestor? Because he knows that Erestor knows he's the rapist? Perhaps Thranduil was really having an affair with this Baglor that cflaims to be the father of Erestor's baby, and there was somekind of misunderstanding or cover up to keep the affair secret. Since the other elf has dark hair, perhaps Thranduil mistook Erestor for Baglor and this whole thing was like what I hypothezied before about with Legolas possibily being the rapist and this whole thing's nothing other thatn an out of control case of mistaken identity! What is Erestor was really covering for Thranduil this whole time about him and his affair? Ooooo... wouldn't Elrond feel like an ass aftering finding that out... Then everyone would HAVE to feel bad about how they treated poor Erestor through all this!

Ugh! I need to know what happens next! Is this going to have a happy ending? (or at least something that passes as one?) And once again what about this mysterious elf Thranduil's wife paying off? And what about Elrohir and Legolas? Are they somehow involved in all this? And what anout my fading scene? Or Erestor? Or Glorfindel? Or the baby? Or...

AHHHHH!!! So many questions! I need to know!!! Can you at least me me a hint if Glorfindel and Erestor are going to get together in the end? They'd make such a cute couple and family! Glorfindel already loves that baby as his own child! They need to get together!!!! Hurry up with this now! Posthaste! Please update soon and keep me from going insane! Hurry hurry hurry! Now now now!

    till then

P.S. Hurry with the next ter ter soon or I'm going to send out my horde of mini-Balrogs after you! (And don't forget about that little fading scene we've been talking about... ^_^)

Wow! What an exciting chapter! The tension is mounting and will find its way out soon! I cannot wait for your next update!

For those who cannot understand let me point out a few things

    1) Thranduil knows he COULD be the father. But I are hre he didn't believe it was rape at the time. Afterall, you can't rape the willing.

    2) Belgor was obviously hired by Viresse to make sure EVERYONE believed Erestor was a liar.

    3) Glorfindel acted like that because he believed Erestor. Believing that Belgor was the father royally pissed him off. It also might have something to do with that kiss they shared. I'd be mad if that happend to me.

    4) Galadriel probably knows something isn't right but isn't sure. She probably doesn't want to voice her suspicions since Nenya is not with her and she isn't 100% sure.

You're driving me INSANE!!! Well, more so than I already am that is. The last few chapters I've ended with my typical "Ahh!" Needless to say you've captured my intrest and refuse to let go.
When are you going to have everyone figure out whether or not Erestor is lying about Thranduil being his child's...other...father? I've got my suspicions but I won't voice them aloud until I know for sure.
I like Glorfindel and Elladan. I'm glad it's him that's being nice. Of the twins I like him better. And I don't usually read stories about Erestor but this one I've been keeping up with. I'm not too happy with everyone else though. Can't wait to see their reactions in the end.
Anyway, please update soon. I REALLY want to know where you're going with this.
    Later,
    Crazy

Ouch. Tough crowd... I read the other reviews you got for this chapter and... ouch.

Well, let me start off by saying this chapter was not as bad as any of those other reviews would have you believe. Though, they do have some points which I shall fairly go through and remark on myself.

    1. Yes. The suddenly revalation of Thranduil possibly being the rapist was kind of an odd turn for this point in the story. He either is or isn't the rapist. You're going to have to make up your mind which it is. Though I know you are trying to throw everybody off with wondering who the real rapist is, you can't pull such random switches on us like that. Though, in fairness to you, i have seen much MUCH worse plot twists in other stories that make absolutely no sense. Don't worry. It's not that big of a deal.

    2. Whoever said it had a point. You should have developed Glorfindel's sudden switch of feelings on Erestor a little bit more. It was kind of quick without any forewarning to the readers. I understand where he's coming from with the father to Erestor's baby coming forward, but still. It needed something a little bit extra, though I get the feeling you're going to take care of that in later chapters. I just don't think Glorfindel will turn his back on Erestor that quickly without giving him another try. Especially if he went running from Erestor with tears in his eyes. And with him still wondering about the bas grs gren eyes, I'm sure he's going to come back and confront Erestor to try and find out the truth from his own mouth. Which again leads us to... that's right FADING SCENE!!!! ^_^ (Sorry. But i am NOT going to let this drop until you give me a fading scene! ha ha ha... ^_^) *ahem* anyway...

    3. Baglor..? Isn't that Tella's husband? Hmm... I need more info on this elf. Did he actually rape Erestor, or (like one of your other reviewers hypothesied) being put up to saying he is the father by Thranduil's wife? Hmm... that would be an interesting plot twist.

    4. As someone else mentioned perhaps sometime awhile ago, the plot needs to pick up a little bit. Every chapter so far is just making me more confused and frustrated at wanting to know who the real rapist is. We're finally starting to get to the climax of the story, so things are starting to fall into place a little bit more, but yes. We need to get this moving a little. Either Erestor needs to start fading from grief and Glorfindel bonds with him and we find out who the real rapist, or Erestor starts to fade from grief and Glorfindel bonds with him to save him and we find out who the reapisapist is. (There I go again with the fading thing! ^_^ Sorry... force of habit... *ahem* ^_^)

All in all, it wasn't that bad of a chapter. Seriously. I wouldn't lie to you. Though there were a couple things that could have been elaborated on or tweaked out a bit for plot development. I can't wait to see the next update. Please don't let those bad reviews get to you and you abandon this story. I know I've had bad reviews for other past stories but quite frnakly that's only the readers opinion, and I know by looking at that counted for number of hits that there are a lot of people that are reading and enjoying your story. So please don't take too much of those other reviews to heart.

Nothing much more to say. I'm not quite sure what to think anymore with this new development. All I can wonder if this is going to have a happy ending. I mean I really so, so, because that would be so sad if it didn't. As long as Erestor and Glorfindel get together in the end, I'll be happy. But even still. Erestor's already lost so much. It would be nice to see him gain some of his old self back.

Well till the next update (which WILL be soon, right? hint hint... wink wink... nudge nudge... know-what-i-mean?...). Good stuff. Keep it up. Don't listen to those bad reviews. I'm reading and loving this story and that's all that matters! ^_^

    Till next time,
    your #1 fan

I must say that I don't understand a damn thing of your chapter...first of all there is no explanation why Glorfindel acts like that, secondly you now say he actually is lying but before you said he wasn't and even had thranduil admitting it, but now u bring I don't know who in and say he was the rapist.

It's stupid. Really, I loved the story but the last chapter sucks

sooo, it looks like Viiresse might have hired Belgor to further discredit poor, poor Erestor and save her crafamifamily. What about the kid's green eyes? Doesn't that point to Thranduil? Is anyone paying attention in Imladris? is Erestor ever gonna make it thru a chappie without pain? come on, get Erestor and Glorfindel together already!
