This is a wonderful series, both in story and literary structure. I find myself drawn into the storyline so deeply that I want to throttle Legolas. I can't wait for the update.

This has got to be the first time that I've read Legolas portrayed as such a b*****d! I actually like the originality, really fed up with fics of Legolas being some weakling who pines after Aragorn or gets abused all the time.

Don't know how this is gonna pen out, but it doesn't look too grand at the moment. I guessed that it was Elrohir listening in thshesshes and thought that's it, maybe Elrohir's had enough. Not that Legolas doesn't deserve that, but how in hell is Legolas supposed to atone for his horrendous behaviour? One can forgive, but can one truly forget? I'm afraid that he's permanently sundered Elrohir's love for him. Interested to see how you pen this out....soon hopefully. ^___^

I’ve read the story from the beginning but never reviewed. It’s the first time and it’s not going to be nice, I LOVE the story but right now it’s just plane boring. Even a blind can see that Legolas loves Elrohir so why can’t you finally end the subject and continue with them being together ?maybmaybe you have no ideas anymore and that’s why you keep writing the same stuff over and over again ?

At first I thought it was a spy of the councillers or something that was sneaking away when Arwen and Legolas talked. But it was Elrohir...I am not sure if I like that better though. I belisomesome miracle has to happen now for Legolas to get Elrohir back. The prince is not happy now that he has driven the other away, maybe this is enough for him to overcome his fear and take the leap of loving Elrohir completely.
Keep writing, 'cause I am still reading :)

Well, that's just rude! You'd think a prince would have enough manners to thank Elrohir for saving his life. Up to this point I've been sympathetic to Legolas - if you don't return someone's feelings, you can't make yourself love them, however much you might want to. But after reading this chapter I must saat iat if I was Elrohir, I'd have smacked Leggy's head against the wall a few times and just left him there.
How did Elrohir know Legolas was in trouble? Was it through the bond?
Once again, I'm really enjoying your work, and thank you for updating on a daily basis.

Break! Break! Break! No matter the hurt that Elrohir faces now, it'll be better in the long run. Better than to face a wavering Legolas that will turn on him anything and constantly uses another man to measure him by. The bleakness that Legolas faces is merely a tiny fraction of what Elrohir is facing. *sigh*

I wonder if Legolas only turned to Aragorn because he subconsciously wanted to put up a barrier between him and Elrohir. I mean everybody, everybody save Legolas bon bonehead, knows that what he felt for Aragorn was not real.

Alas! for all the grim forebodings in this story, I now see a silver lining. Another well written chapter and I echo one of the reviewers in appreciation of the fact that you update daily. ;)
