Wow that was cool. But it's so sad that they had to die :-(

But who was it to witch Legolas was bound? Maybe Haldir?

I just loved this story! It was so beautiful and sad. I am still all teary eyed. As for Legolas I am voting for Haldir to be his bonded. It would make sense at least following movie canon that Legolas was alone since Haldir died at Helm's Deep. Just a thought. I look forward to the next installment.

This is a beautiful piece of work. :) I'm racking my brain for the right words...but I can't seem to find them. Well, what I'm trying to say is "Well done!" and then some.

this is the first story that brought tears to my eyes. First with Legolas then again with the twins. It's an amazing story and I look forward to reading about Legolas's story.

This had me near tears. To find a truly emotional sparking story is rare and indeed, I have found it.

May I PLEASE archive this at my site? http://aptafanfic.topcities.com

This is what I have been looking for for a very long time, it is amazing, so beautiful, and I don't even know if I'd like a sequal of Legolas' life as this story with all its secrets seems so rewarding and magic. If there was a sideline story concerning Gimli's point of view it would be excellent, the dwarves could have a totally opposite opinion to the elven way.
Also, what kind of grief would await Elrond if he found out that what his twins had did not sign them a death sentance, that the Valar had become wiser, that they had realized the restrictions would tear their beloved charges apart. To know this would possibly destroy Elrond, and then when Thranduil and his sons follow to Valinor a few centuries later (about two I k, Ik, I doubt there were mnay elves living in Middle Earth by that time) and find out the same thing...I don't know...the grief and resignation you have portrayed in this story are simply breathtaking.

I implore you to keep on writing. You have a gift with words...it will carry you far.

If she was a product of kin-bonding,then there is only Legolas' brother or father to choose from. From what I can tell,he got pregnant before the Fellowship?I want to be sure.Okay,eeny-miney,I'll guess it's Legolas' brother who's the sire.Maybe he's ashamed of what they(or he for that matter)had done.Shamed enough to go postal and kill an innocent child.Because if he kills the child, then no one will ever know that he might be the sire.Or,he "raped" his own brother(maybe he was drunk or on something, take your pick)and didn't know Legolas got pregnant.Who knows.Have to read the sequel(or is it prequel?)to find out.
