*snickers* Poor Elrohir. I really feel for him. The ending was sweet though. XD It seemed like he was able to figure it out in the end, else he wouldn't have been able to wait (what was it, a decade?) before revealing his feelings. ^_^

Nice parallel story to Legolas' wet dream. I'm sure you have another "tale" on how they seem to both experience their binding channel even before they were actually bound. I'm looking forward to it. At least it's some comfort to Elrohir that he has been dreamt about by his beloved. very confusing to both of them but very sweet for us. Thanks ;))))

Thanks so much for the outtakes, Eresse! I love that this is the "flip side" to “The Mind’s Eye”. I had wonderedtherthere was any effect from the one-sided binding. Now, as I uderstand it, Legolas could feel Elrohir's emotions/thoughts if they were unguarded. That Elrohir felt Legolas' ---could it be that unconsciously , the bond was opening the other way, as Legolas realized, ever so slowly, that he was in love with Elrohir? If so, I can see why this wouldn't work in the story. Another question: Did Elrohir know for certain it was *him* that Legolas was dreaming about, and not Estel? Man that would cause serious angst. Or did Elrohir know from Legolas' thoughts that it was, indeed, him in the dream?

I absolutely love the relationship between the twins. Elladan is so sweet and comforting. *sigh*
Please, please, keep them coming! It is very interesting to see things you opted not to include in the story. It gives a little insight into how stories go in the direction that they do.

    Faithfully reading, Gwaihir

OOH I liked the beginning of that chapter. Or almost a ter ter since you didn't include it in you story. It is an outtake.
I really liked the one sided bindideaidea in your story. You got a lot of angsty mileage out of that and that is all to the good.
We got a little of the hobbits on their way home and I always liked hobbits. In fact when I first read the books, years ago, I liked the hobbits best. It wasn't until the movies and I "saw" Rivendell and 'Lo for for the first time that I slowly began to be interested in the elves beyond reading The Sil when it first came out. Then came the elves at Helm's Deep and I was a goner. I love elves now. I am getting fickle in my old age.
Poor Elrohir. He has a ways to go yet before he gets his just reward for centuries, nay millenia of love and lust for the pale object of his devotion.
I really thought Elladan holding him while he slept was so sweet. They are so sweet with each other.
I want to thank you for making these outtakes available for us. This is like the extras we get on the DVDs. giggle
