Reviews for Voices In The Dark

Brain still AWOL but I've managed to lure one cell back. Unfortunately it's feeling abit put upon so I can't put the thoughts in my head into words very well. Basically I'm still reading and likeing your story even if my review is rather crap.

OK, so we've gone over this before and I think you must just be a nicer person than me but Saeldis still bugs. What did his mother say when she saw him? I know you did some terrible things but I still love you so come here so I can give you a hug? I forgive you, I understand or what? How could anyone forgive or forget that?

The whole multiple personalities took another twist when Glorfindel was surrounded by a physical ' multitude of elves' that had all split from the original. Can't describe how that made me feel exactly but it was creepy. And now there is another Legolas so that makes 3. And this new Legolas is made up of lots of the spirits so he's kind of a split personality that has hie own multiple personality himself if you can understand what I mean (hey working with one brain cell here remember). And most of him is going back but some is still staying in Mandos so he can't really be completely healed yet. Caused another headache you know. Might send you the bill for paracetemol!!

Oioloure or what ever his name was turned out to be another shady character. Will we ever know what Toren did? Hope it wasn't anything like what Saeldis did cos that would be seriously sick, sending a child molester into a childs mind.

Thranduil gets to feel the effects of hindsight this time. So what's he going to do about it? Didn't give much detail of the 2 weeks he has been in Rivendel. Glorfindel was much more attentive to try to make up for his one mistake which now doesn't seem so bad compared to Thranduil's. Speaking of which are we going to get more Glorfindel/Legolas interaction? And maybe some little 'original' Legolas growing up, haven't seen much of him at all.

This fic is very exciting. Keep up the good work. Also, I would like to know if you were inspired by the C.S. Friedman book This Alien Shore. The writing styles are very similar. In that book, the main character Jamisia has multiple personalities. Each personality has its own particular look and feel. I hit me when reading at the beginning when Legolas looked in the mirror and said he looked funny. A scene almost exactly repeated in the book. If you haven't read it, I highly suggest it. Very good as it deals with many different mental disorders besides multiple personalities.

Hmm, I love how you did this chapter. The only thing that was a little weird was that only Elrond noticed Legolas coming in, but I'm not complaining because If left room for the very cute interaction between Legolas and Glorfindel.

YAY! Glad Thranduil took that as well as he did. Can't be easy knowing you let your child into the hands of a madman.
Yes, Time is the great healer... but hey, a little love doesn't hurt either. :D

It's good to spoil good writers... then we keep getting excellent stories like this one! I really liked the hug and the new relationship between Thranduil and Legolas, it really shows Legolas' progress. Although, I have to admit that I'm curious to see how the different spirits merge into one, that is if they ever do.

Gee, I'm not sure if they are supposed to be good luck or not, but if I pull another one out of my hair, I'll go bat shit crazy. Mmm, hmmm. Haunt you for the rest of your mortal existence, that's right. I'm very good at it, too. If you mean by 'expecations' - 'good,', then yes, this chapter did meet them, very much so. If you mean by 'expectations' - 'what Morier expected to happen,' then I guess only partially. I've been very anxious to read this chapter. I've been wanting to read a 'nice Thranduil' fic for awhile, since mine is so decidedly mean. I liked the pointed out similarity between Thranduil's eyes and Ravan's. Elrond playing psychologist is just too sexy, though. ;-) But anyway, it is very wonderful to see that Legolas will be trying to revive is failing relationship with his family soon, but more wonderful that the slash must now be on the horizon, right? *tries to look hopeful without looking pathetic* :-)

Yay for healing! Yay for Legolas finally getting better!
Oh, but poor Thranduil. He's going to be ill when he learns what had been happening right under his nose for all those years! Here's hoping Imladris can help heal that, too.

Oh man I am sooo excited for Thranduil to arrive!! I can't wait to see what happens, but no matter what I bet it will be awesome. Great chapter, can't wait to read the rest!

Ever been attacked by ladybugs? Not pleasant. I just found three in my hair and two crawling up my back. YUCK!

Ah! Thranduil! I can't wait to see how you handle this. You will grace us with a detailed description of Legolas telling his father what has happened -- not necc. of what Legolas went through, but Thranduil's reaction, eh? Legolas is mending, and as happy as I am to see it, I'm sad that the story will be ending. Thanks for the reassurance that you will finish the story, because if you hadn't, I'd haunt you for the rest of your mortal existence.

    Wonderful chapter!

Thank you! This story continues to draw me in. I look for updates daily! I am glad Elrohir is there as a friend to my prince, you have kept your promise to me and I appreciate it! Excellent work and though I dread the end of this story, I cannot wait to see what you come up with next!

Can't wait to see what you do with Thranduil - I hope you make him one of the good guys, and can give him some emotional depth (something that tends to be rather difficult with the King, I think...). I wonder if Leggy and Glorfy will get together by the end, or if you'll do a slash sequel (I've been very glad that you've not had them rushing into anything - I imagine it'll be years before Legolas gets anywhere near ready for a romantic relationship). Thanks for the update! :)

Oh that was too cute with the holding hands bit, and now he lets Glorfindel give him backrubs.... progress!! I have to admit that I'm curious to see how the different personalities join together, if they ever do. That will definatley be intesting.
