Hi! I just had to let you know that I had read 'Earendil's Light' a long way back and then when I saw that there were sequels, I literally SQUEALED in delight! This tale has me captivated (I should know, I read it straight through and stayed up till 7 in the morning to read it!) and I can't WAIT for more! I feel the most attracted to Echoriath...I think he is just adorable and I know several times my heart clenched with his pain! And Tathren is wonderfully supportive and loving as well! Cuthalion I can't wait to see how you'll allow him to grow as it goes and the parents.......oooooooooh I hope they are accepting!!! *bounces in wait* More soon please!!!

Hey, what a wonderful story. All the characters are so very real. Keep going. I'm dieing to know what will happen now that Legolas knows. I understand that they grew up as cousins, but they are not related in blood and its not as though they could have children with each other. I also wanna know about the little baby (brother or sister?) I think a sister would shake thinks up with all those guys. But whatever... Great story. Keep going. ;)

What an amazingly good, richly textured, plot filled story. Well written and filled to the brim with slashy goodness *g.* Not only do I like, Tathren, Echoriath and Culthalion. I so much look forward to what will happen to them next. Legolas has figured out what's going on, I look forward to finding out how Elrohir reacts, and how the other adars react when they find out, and who will they find out from, all of this is so very interesting. I'm also looking forward to Legolas and Elrohir having an addtion to the family. I hope you update soon.

Sorry, I'm a bit behind on feedback. Need to go back a couple chapters.

First of all, I love this story. The characterizations and interactions are superb. Whether it is Legolas and Elrohir trying to deal with marital woes, Tathren and Echo dealing with their blossoming love for each other, or Elladan's fatherly advice, I am riveted to the story.

Regarding Elrohir/Legolas. These two are my favorite pairing. Period. The horrible guilt they are both feeling over Elrohir fathering a child is palpable. I'm so glad that everything is in the open between them. I find it interesting that Elrohir was sady ady to forgive Legolas for "breaking vows", yet he cannot forgive himself for wanting a child "of his own", so to speak. Legolas has accepted the implications, I'm glad Elrohir has finally come around. Even if it did take extreme circumstances to make it so. Elrond talking to Elrohir about the different types of love made me laugh and cry at the same time. And this made me laugh out loud: "Roused in the dead of night, indeed." And this exchange between Legolas and Elladan:“You best guard your chastity with a mithril belt, gwador,” Legolas taunted him. “Your comeliness gracelessly unmoors these tenderlings.” “More than one would have sequestered you by now, o blonde immaculate,” he retorted dryly. “Were it not for my brother’s lax hand tucked so daintily between your thighs.” These characters are, indeed, very real to me. Elrohir writing smut? I love it!1 And Legolas rng ing it so...intensely. I want to read Elrohir’s smut. Or at least about Elrohir’s smut.

So, Legolas' mother has returned from Mandos. I wonder what the implications of this will be. She has heard her sons' version of events. What will she think of Thranduil? Will he recover himself, with her back, or will she be appalled at what has become of him? And the attempts on Nienna's l Ho How despicable. I love Elrohir's telling of the assassin's fate: "The assassin’s sable hair strunur fur first bow,” Elrohir confessed to him. “And every one since, to show your triumph."

And where to begin with Tathren and Echo? I can’t decide which one I love more! Echo is sweet, sensitive loving and incredibly talented. As well as endowed with great... gifts. I understand why Tathren was drawn to him. But I’m drawn to Tathren, too. He is spirited and strong, yet able to show his vulnerability. The care he took with Echo’s initiation made me swoon. I once read a poll asking why we love slash. One of the answers (not mine) was brilliant (not exact quote, but from memory) : “We love our Elves and are too selfish and jealous to see them with other women, so we like to see them with each other. It’s the best of all worlds”. This especially applies to both Tathren and Echo.

However, I am a bit worried about Legolas discovering them. They will meet with their parents, ready to confess all, and the rug will be pulled out from under them. I wonder, though, if Tathren and Echo will be bound when they confront their parents. It certainly seemed that is where they were headed when we left them. Is that the plan? They will already have bound their fea to each other so that no matter what happens, they will be together always? *sigh* I can’t decide if that is incredibly romantic or extremely reckless.

    More please!!

Wonderful chapter about the second majority festivities with overamorous suitors and curious inebrieated relatives etc. Can not wait for your next chapter and the repercussions from Legolas finding out their secret. A special gift indeed from Tathren to pledge to bind with E I I will have to wait and see if their binding occurs that night or not. The ending implied a fusing of their feas, but the rings are pledges?

Just when I was wondering when your next update would be, we get a two chapter update to feast upon. I love your long well-crafted chapters. Especially in how Echo nutured him through the rough days of estrangement from his Adas, Tathren realized what a precious treasure Echo is and fell in love with him in five days.

I was worried it would take years instead of days by Tathren to reciprocate Echo's love. Think the estrangement made Echo's stellar qualities even more evident. Really enjoyed the interaction between the three cousins and Cathalion rejoicing with them about their relationship. It showed more of Cathalion'slinglings and love for his twin.

Now Elrohir has made the big decision to father a child. It will be interesting to see who will be the female elf chosen.

Two chapter, what a treat for us! Echo is such a wonderful character, I am deeply in love with him. I hope all goes well with their families, but I have a feeling that there are troubled waters ahead, and something tells me Thranduil is not out of the picture as of yet. Thanks so much for these great updates and as always, eagrely look forward to more:)

Wow, Legolas' mother is back from Mandos. How terrible to have lost her as an elfling all of those years ago. Would assume she saw Thranduil first and heard about the estrangement of Legolas with his father etc.

Tathren and Echoriath's coming together was so seductive and passionate. Although they are not truly blood cousins, they are considered to be raised as such. Sort similar to the taboo for step brothers and sisters, I guess.

Will have to go back to your earlier stories to refresh my memories about Erestor and Rumil, and who is with who etc.

Elrohir is such a good father, it's no wonder Legolas wants to share the feeling of having a child that he himself sired. The only problem is the angst this will surely result in, despite Legolas' resolve. Will the ellith they choose want to raise the child? More likely she will wan want to give up Elrohir's attentions. Not to mention the guilt: Elrohir's newly found, Legolas' old wounds. I'm sure their love will win in the end, but it will be a difficult road...

After torturous soul searching, Tathren makes his move. **swoons** Even if Echoriath was not already drawn to him, how could he possibly resist such an overture? The emotions and actions between them were so romantic and sweet. But why did Echo choose tomorrow? Why not tonight?

    Waiting breathlessly for the encounter.......
