Now I am a bit sad because this beautiful tale is over. My only complaint is that you left me wondering if Thranduil *ever* will come to his senses (what I somehow doubt). But nonetheless, I have enjoyed this story immensely and look forward to more from you, whatever you will write.
Thank you for so many hours of joyful reading!

Wah!! I don't want it to end so soon!! Although there are still some loose ends I'd like to see tied up. Thranduil, the eventual return of Nenuial's husband and Elrohir's career as a smut writer just to name a few. I'm glad we're getting more of these wonderful characters. I had a feeling long ago that Cuthalion would find his soulmate in Erestor's daughter. I'm glad that we will finally find out . And those triplets! More! More! More!

What to say about the latest? Tathren willing to risk everything and Legolas actually doing so. I was on pins and needles worrying about "the lie" and it straining the relationship between Legolas and Elrohir. I can still see in my mind's eye the dark figure infront of the fireplace. With a sword slit in his neck. Valar! Thranduil has even more to atone for! I'm just grateful that Legolas finally unburdened himself and that Elrohir was his beautiful forgiving self.

Then there was the binding ceremony. The rehearsal had me grinning from ear to ear. I love the interaction between Elrohir and Elladan. It's good to see them together. Then we have Tathren and Legolas. I cried like a baby. The emotionbetween the two was palpable. Tathren and Echo are so beautiful together. The binding night was everything I had hoped for and more. Love-cast indeed ! It even reached beyond the page!

Thank you again for sharing these stories with us. I look forward to the updates!

The last chapter? So soon? *sniff* I had hoped for a bit more.

It was a beautiful end for this wonderful story. I loved the binding between Echo and Tathren, and the love-cast was certainly an interesting idea. Poor healers, so many babes at one day! This will certainly be a binding to remember. And I was glad Legolas told Elrohir at last about his encounter with Thranduil.

I hope you can post more soon - I certainly want to read more about the young ones after coming to love them.

Thank you for sharing this lovely story!

Wow!! I absolutely loved chapter 15. What a culmination of emotions. Legolas did the only thing he could, as a parent. He was MAGNIFICIENT!! "He streaked through the high grass as stealthily as a viper through the nettles", your descriptions leave me breathless.

I loved the scene with his father. He certainly is full of himself, admiring his offspring "of his blazing seed." You have certainly captured his arrogance. I guess deep down Thranduil really loves his children, even if he can't admit it, because he couldn't kill Legolas. I get the feeling that the father is upset that his sons don't appreciate what he worked to pass down to them. "So wasteful of the life, of the legacy bequeathed him.," you wrote. I can't believe it was only due to his wife that he spared Legolas, at least I am hopeful. My gosh you could write a whole other story just about the redemption of Thranduil. (Hint, hint)

I wanted to review this chapter before I read the last one. Well, on to the end. I am drooling in anticipation.

I cannot honestly tell you how much I adore your story, especially the portrayal of Legolas and Elrohir's relationship! Simply beautiful.

It is about time I write a review after following this story for so long. This is an amazing story and I think your best so far. I love the way how you describe all your characters, and I love all of them, even the OCs. You have captured the problems for Elrohir and Legolas because of Tathren's siring so well. I was very happy they chose to have another child in spite of this. And it was great when our young couple came back after eight years and Tathren discovered his little brothers. The triplets are so cute!
And then Echo and Tathren ... wonderful! Echo is truly gifted, and I am glad Tathren is there for him. As for Tathren himself, I was quite impressed how he dealt with Thranduil. After the last chapter I was quite anxious the Woodland King would harm one of them or their familiy, and in this chapter I was on the edge of my chair most of the time. It was very brave of Legolas how he was ready to sacrifice himself to protect his family, and I am glad Thranduil came to his senses, at least for now.
Now I wait eagerly for the next chapter and am curious if Thranduil is able to change his behaviour. Keep up the great work and thanks for a wonderful story!

    Gloromeien,
I don't think I have reviewed for you before this, but I had to let you know how much I am enjoying your series. I have been reading the series (all of them) since you first started them. They have really developed as you have gone along. The characters have grown so realistically through the ages. I loved the way Legolas always took everything Elrohir told him to heart. Then, poof, suddenly Legolas is grown up and taking charge. The change was great. I think character development and change is such an intrinsic part of a well written story. Your stories character development has a subtlety to it. You don't notice the changes until you look back. As a reader I watched Legolas grow and now I am watching his son grow into man or elfhood. The progression is enthralling. I think that is what makes your stories so good. Of course the humor, emotion, sex and cute comebacks don't hurt. (The part in the first series where Elrohir didn't recognize Legolas but Elladan did is one of my favorites.)

Part 12 was wonderful with Tathren discovering his little brothers - what a surprise! I was dying to know who tunuviel was. It was cute the way Tathren tried to bribe the triplets. Then came Tunuviel!! What an adjustment for Tathren, I'm suprised he took it so well. But it just goes to show how well and loved he was raised.

I also have to say I love how long your chapters are!! It is great to sit down and read several pages instead of 2 or 3. And now TWO chapters!!!! I am in reading heaven. Thank you for sharing your imagination and creativity with us.

Sweet Eru, preserve me! I am, once again, behind in feedback, but I'm reeling with such glee I had to make a short, spontaneous comment. As opposed to my long thought out ones ;)
By the time I got to Tathren confronting Thranduil I was shaking as much as Tathren. I shouted out and startled my cats when Tathren so boldly told off the king. Oh, he's in for some serious loving from his Echo. Speaking of serious loving, Elrohir and Legolas made me swoon. So hot. So sensual. So in tune to each other. I truly love them both. When Elrohir makes his request to *see* Legolas' love, I just about cried Beautiful. Truly beautiful. Thank you.

The tale of the adventurers' travels and trials over the eight years was nicely encapsulated in this chapter.

At first, the disorderly state of the garden and the removal of the weapons at Elrohir and Legolas' home was worrisome if some possible tragedy had occurred. What a big and welcome surprise to read about the triplets. What a triple handful! Also, what a fitting and thoughtful tribute to Glorfindel by Echo in patterning the new colony on Gondolin and wishing to name it as such.

Some more surprises in store for Tathren and we, the readers at the feast. Can not wait to read more.

Dude...it took me three days to read three chapters, but that's how involved I was in it! The sorrow and heartache of the first addition just made me sob, the bittersweet reunion of the second chapter made me bite my lip in hope....and the third put me back into wailing for more! WAH!

I do hope that something might work out for Elrohir and Legolas, because I think they NEED another kidlet/grandkidlet. But, if they don't, I do so hope Talion finds someone! His story is so sad now! He reminds me of...me! Wah! Don't want that!

    More soon!

    Love, DA

Just as I was wondering what happened to this story, a new update showed up. Glad to have you back and with a three chapter update too! It was interesting to read about the varied reactions by the different parents concerning the relationship by Tathren and Echoriath. The reaction of betrayal especially felt by Elrohir was particularly interesting to read about, and the fears that he had about losing his closeness with Tathren.

Fascinating prophecy about Tathren being the chosen one, and also, that it was not Echoriath with his fabulous gifts. I look forward to reading about their adventuring, especially though neophyte Echoriath's eyes. Lovely wonderful story!
