Wonderful story. I love the interaction of Gil-glad and Orpher (I know i murdered their names) with Michael. Very easy to get lost in the story.

When are you going to be able to update again? I understand about health issues (I work in a hospital) but i am going through withdral here.

    Also loved Pottymouth.

Please keep up the great work.

I'm so relieved to hear you're feeling better, I've been worrying about you. Let's pray your new meds are the right ones, not just so you can write again, but so you can function.

I almost feel so sorry for Michael - he has no clue what's going on, and no say in his own life... or afterlife! I'm amazed at how well he's coping. I'd be a basket case, what with Valar interventions, death, the Halls...

Keep it up, and stay healthy!

Welcome back - again! We'll take your good days as we can get them! "Big Vala" *lol* I guess it's true what they say, "It's not what you know, but WHO you know!" Glad Michael's back amongst the living. I just love how hard Legolas fights for him!

So glad to hear you are feeling better. And so glad to see this new chapter when I logged in today! It was beautifully written, and well worth the wait. I loved the 'cameos' by Legolas' parents. Can't wait to see how this all turns out!

Ah... I honestly can't imagine why Gilgalad and Oropher have been (Om not sure if the word is condemned, sentenced or assigned) placed in purgatory, other than to possibly work out theri differences before moving on. It did make for some seriously funny dialog, especially for anyone who has read the lengthy ans somewhat repetitive-in-theme Sillmarillion.

Can't wait for the next installment and hope you're feeling well. Cookies for the writer :-)

Welcome back! I loved how you wrote Gil-Galad and Oropher in this chapter; poor Michael can't even get a break in the afterlife. I look forward to the next chapter; they've definity been worth the wait!

Welcome back - again! Even a ‘temporary’ clean bill of health is appreciated! Normally I’d say something noble like, “Don’t be silly, your continued good health is all we need.” But updates are a currency I will GLADLY accept! *vbg*

I know I said this before, but I just can’t get over the image I have of Gil-Galad & Orophin bickering like an old married couple. Not being able to say two sentences to each other without starting an argument! *snicker*

I REALLY like your interpretation of Thranduil. So many authors write him as an over bearing, arrogant, condescending so and so, I like envisioning the softer side of him. “…he had accepted Michael as a cherished child, with no question or any stinting of protective affection. He didn't need to ask; he didn't need to question; this man loved him ….” *heavy sigh* Ah, that we could each find that kind of acceptance within our own family circles.

Can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to Michael’s return!

I must admit I do like Oropher and Gil-Galad... *giggle* Poor guys. Having to put up with each other for thousands of years must be really boring. And I do love Michael's reactions to it all - throughout the entire story.

I'm waiting with anticipation for the next chapter.

Welcome back, Friend! Thanks for clawing through the fog to deliver this offering. I, too, hope you’re on the upswing!

Love your characterization of Gil-Galad & Oropher, they bicker like an old married couple. (of course after 20,000 years together who wouldn’t? *lol*) Can’t wait ‘til Michael realizes WHY that dimple nags at him so.

This is where my evil twin Frieda and I disagree (quite vehemently). I want you to take it easy, get plenty of rest and not relapse. The evil one wants you to get your fanny back in front of the ‘puter and start writing, we NEED to know what happens to Michael, does he get to leave the Halls? What’s going on back in the world of the living? How are Legolas and Faramir taking his loss? (That evil twin sure is a curious one…) Do what you think is best, I’ll make sure Frieda behaves until your next update. Wait a sec, that’s right, I’M the evil twin. mwahaha
