Hey, hon, hope you had a wonderful Christmas time,

have to make this short and sweet as I am still on holiday, just to tell you I am still around and still reading, "we likes it precious!" ;) I am glad you decided to make this story longer than the usual, it gives you more room to develop the plot and the characters. And BTW, could it be that the effects of the Palantir are wearing off now that she has been forced to stay away from it for so long? Update! And soon! :D :)

    Hey, ladies!

Just to let you know that as off tomorrow I will be gone for a few weeks taking an extended and VERY well deserved (trust me on that!) holiday with my little family. I wish you two and all of your readers and reviewers Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Talk to you again in 2005! :) Sandra

I’m gone for a little while, and what do I come back to? Not one, but TWO updates! Way to go, Frosty!

I would’ve reviewed right after reading chapter 10, but I had to wait for my computer to cool down – it got a little steamy. *lol*

Poor Faramir; he suspects something, but wants so desperately to trust Aragorn. I’m going to miss him when Aragorn kills him too! (Yes, I have come to accept that evil Aragorn will, in fact, triumph. *resigned sigh*)

You want 20? 20? Naaaaaaah, we won't deliver, hehe. In fact we do, because WE still love the story and the way it is going. I am really dying to find out, how it will all end. Will Faramir finally get into Sherlock Holmes mode? Will Elladan and Elrohir? And where is the CSI squad team when you need it? *g* Don't end this story too soon, "we wants it, precious!" ;). And I know I am repeating myself, but I love the fact that at long last one of your OCs is taken by the dark side, if perhaps only for a while, but it is still a great new turn in your stories.

Oh, one little thing as I noticed this before: You said: "shoving them into a small bag that lied on the bed", but it should be "lay on the bed" - it is an irregular verb: to lie, lay, lain, at least that is how I learned. But maybe they changed all that. Hell, how would I know, English is not my native tongue, so sorry, if I am all wrong here.

P.S.: OK, Elven, time to catch up with "Masks" tonight! :D

I said it last time and I say it again: It is so interesting that we get to see so much more of how your characters are actually drawn to the dark side and how their plans unfold including your OC. Fantastic!

P.S.: Yes, we know you passed on our pleas to Elven, lol! And the good girl dutifully started a new exiting story, so she is forgiven. *g*

He is going to win, isn' he? Of course, darkness always wins in your stories. Remind me again just WHY I read your stories... Oh, yeah, 'cause they're bloody brilliant, that's why! Intriguing, compelling, and the lives of the poor sods in your stories makes my sorry existance look a little cheerier! ;p

YES! I was hoping you would go through with this murder and not have the good boys come to the rescue right now. And to answer your question at the beginning of this chapter. Why indeed shouldn't Aragorn win? It is an option I would seriously consider for your stories if I were you in order to break out of your scheme and make your stories a little less predictable every now and then (though I totally love them, don't get me wrong, lol!). So playing with plots and characters and devices is certainly a wonderful and refreshing thing. Keep it up, ladies!

P.S.: Pssst, Frosty, tell Elven to get her bum of the couch and be productive again around here! The women as stories to finish! ;)

Not a review, since I reviewed chapter 7 already. Just to let you know. It is December, 11 and I am WATCHING THE ROTK EXTENDED EDITION AS WE SPEAK!!! And let me tell you one thing: It is bloody FANTASTIC!!! Nearly everybody has their moments, new ones, extended ones, moments to give them their chance to shine. Faramir is one of those that profits the most, but so do Eowyn and Merry, Denethor and Aragorn (about time he got more screen time in ROTK!). There is a moment after he, Legolas and Gimli leave the POTD that is just fantastic. The look on Aragorn's face when he see's the Corsair ships approaching, falling to his knees and thinking he has failed, then being comforted by Legolas... that is just to die for. My how Viggo Mortensen can act! There is some more stuff that sees him shine, but I won't tell you. Oh and guess who wins the drinking game! *g* I won't tell you except for the fact he has blond hair, hehe! ;)

Evil, evil Aragorn! He must be destroyed - as slowly and painfully as possible! Killing Arwen and corrupting Valawen... Yes, he must be destroyed! But WHO shall do it? Since you refuse to bring back Boromir *mumble, grumble*, to whom will you give the gift of 'nads?

Wow, I really like the way the story goes this time. The use of the palantir to pull the OC into darkness for a change rather than just the original characters like Boromir, Legolas, Aragorn etc. is a great new idea and development!!!

Ah-ha! I knew it! I knew he was up to no good! I’ll bet he even drugged Elrond, so he wouldn’t interfere with Aragorn’s nefarious plans. I think we need someone *cough, miraculously undead Boromir, cough* to open up a can of whup-a** on our “beloved King.” (Okay, so my subtle hint wasn’t so subtle. Ya can’t blame a girl for tryin’, now can ya?)

Oh no, no city tour by our most trusted Gondorian tour guide Aragorn! What a shame... NOT! *grins* Wonder what Aragorn is up to (apart from the obvious, lol!). Update quickly! And where the hell is Elven? Don't leave all the work to Frosty here, you have got some stuff to finish you know!!!

Awesome! I love the twist with the palantir (or should I say, palantiri? heh heh heh...). That's certainly a new one. I want to know what diabolical plots either of the Dark Ones have in store for Aragorn and his unwilling lover...

Oooh, creepy! I don't normally read Elrond-heavy fics, but this one is so well-written, I couldn't resist. There's always that nagging intuition that Valawen ignores...I have a feeling it will be her undoing.
