I believe that you meant Elrond. In chapter 11, "Glorfindel picked the letter up off his desk and showed it to Thranduil." I think you meant that he showed it to Elrond, not Thranduil.

The story is amazing and I've fallen in love with it.

I've been patient... now you have no further excuse. *grin* More, R -- please? I'm still dying to know what sort of strange mystical powers that damn stone has. *lol*

    Love, me

Ah what tangled webs you weave for our dear Elves! So, Erestor has given his pretty blond lovers the boot, eh? Well...if they are ever bored without their lovely dark haired advisor, I know a certain human woman who would be happy to entertain them! :)
Very intriguing. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Yay! It's back! And so very very intriguing. Hmm.. do be careful with your plan, Glorfindel! Don't destroy what trust Erestor has for you... but all so intriguing. Can't wait for more.

Hmmm... I dunno about the choice of song. I think Lindir could have come up with *something* a little better! :)
*shakes head* Oh, dear. Lindir's gone and fallen for Erestor, too. Oh this could wind up getting horribly ugly! :D

Well done, once more! I like the decision to make Legolas not Thranduil's birth-son. And I really love how he just bowled entirely over Elrond. *sigh* :) Now, where is that peep-hole into Erestor's bedchamber?

Ertia, if you ever do get that on canvas, *please* send me a picture of it. I'd be very interested in seeing how someone else sees them and, of course, eternally grateful of a picture. Pretty please *bats lashes*

Dear Valar! Haldir and Legolas at the same time?!?! Erestor is actually going to SURVIVE that? I doubt I would. But I'm always willing to try...
Poor Glori, but then, he made his bed, and now must lie in it. Alone.
Seriously, a fabulous chapter. You painted the picture of Erestor' and Haldir's entrance like a portrait. (Hmmm...wonder if I could get that done on canvas, in nice high-gloss oils?)

Hmmm...Haldir as a first? Is that really a good idea? *Slaps Erestor upside the head.* OF COURSE he's coming on to you! I'd come on to you if I thought you would even notice. *shrugs* Excellent chapter, but, as you said, too short! Short chapters make me sad. *pouts*

daughterofthemidnightmoon : the thing is that Glori doesn't want to be just a flash in the pan 'starter romance'...he wants all of Erestor, heart and soul. Hence, telling him to come him after he's 'sown his wild oats' and is ready to settle down with the best of the best.

What... I'm totally confused. So does Glorfindel still want Erestor or not? And if he does, why is he basically telling him to go screw as many other people as he can before he comes back to him? I'm so confused!!!! And why did he have to be so mean to Erestor? 'this is the bed you made, and now you must sleep in it'??? Ouch. That almost sounds like a blatant refusal. I can only hope Glorfindel knows what he's doing... I don't know, but if I loved someone, the thought of them running off to someone else's bed would make me sick to my stomach... Like I said, I hope Glorfindel knows what he's doing... All in all though, I'm loving the story and can't wait for me. Do hurry with more! I'm curious about that stone Erestor was holding. Did it somehow boost his latent sexual energy or something like that? :P Or did it jut finally open Glorfindel's eyes to him. And why do I feel as though the appearance of our favorite prince of Mirkwood is somehow going to play a major role in this... hmm... plot bunnies, plot bunnies... hurry with more soon!
