Heehee. Elrond creepy? Yah, I gues I can see that! And yah.... that sounds very like Elrond, doesn't it? Sit and stare at the twins for an hour while they squirm and panic wondering what he's going to come up with and than changing! I know it'd sure make ME not do whatever it is I did ever again. (did that make any sense?)

Oh, and Marzbar, I think the reason we torture Legolas is that he is the best defined Elf. We have empathy and understand his vulnerabilities, such as they are. I'm afraid being the most popular also leaves him the most open to being abused. *Sorry, Legolas!* I mean, honestly, can you imagine raping Glorfindel? Yah? I'd like to see someone try THAT and survive to tell about it. I don't mind abusing him as long he recovers. :)

*uh...why are Legolas and Glorfindel glaring at me now?*

I do like your story & the way you've interwoven very tough subjects with romance and delightful interplay.

My first compliment to you is that I have read this straight through and I do not prefer slash since I hate to be left out of the smut. My question is why do so many writers want to have the lovely Legolas be raped?

Ooh. Very insightful chapter! It's eerie how accurately you portray one of the thought processes that many survivors go through. And Elladan handled it beautifully! Shame on Elrond for eavesdropping, though. *shakes finger at Elrond* Can't wait to hear his suggestions!

YAY! A lunchtime read! I was bereft yesterday without a lunchtime read. I actually had to *gasp* go clean out my email box instead. This was much much better. And so very clever of Glorfindel, too, I might add.

Awww. That was sweet. Yes, quite a shock, I guess, to suddenly realize your lover is thousands of years older than you are. But I am really starting to adore your Elladan. He's so sweet and patient. And I love this dialogue, where Legolas is so carefully putting out all of his fears to be soothed.

What? There's no more written? AAaGHHHHH! You've spoiled us, you know, with this three chapters in one weekend! And now we have to wait???? oh. poo. what Shall we do? Hmmm... wait, i've got a giant bag of jelly bellies and an entire forest full of Elves! I'm sure I can come up with something! :)

Ah... Thranduil and Haldir at last. Although I do have to wonder what Celeborn and Galadriel are going to think about their warden spending so much time in Mirkwood. *smirk* And now I'm curious as to just how rough Thranduil does like to play. "
Although, now all is coming together for all of our couples. I suppose that means the end is somewhere in sight?

Wheee! Glad Manwe explained things rather than letting Glori jump off a cliff! lol
Poor Glorfindel, though. He seems a bit...shaken by the experience. Well, I guess it's not every day that the Lord of the Valar comes and checks up on you.
And FINALLY! Thran and Haldir! well, well. I can't wait for that. Well, I suppose I shall have to wait.
    *wait* *wait* *wait*

    Is it done yet?

    Oooh!
Fabulous chapter! And just how is Glorfindel so certain Mandos would send him back this time? But oooh! Can't wait for more! (lovely bit of dialogue there at the end, too!)

hehehe..this was an interesting turn, it's Manwe isn't it?! But really, what an idiotic thing to do, and very Glorfindel too.
Lots of hugs for a great story

Oooh! Poor Haldir. *snicker* Ahem..I mean...*notes Haldir's glare*. ummm.. That was rather unfair of Thranduil! Naughty naughty Thranduil. Lovely work having them all standing around the table, and for Glori to so quickly discern why! hee hee.

YAY! Errr...what exactly did Thranduil mean by that, hmmmm? He wants Haldir! He wants him bad! And we want him to have Haldir... don't we? :D

Phew! I go away for the weekend and just look what happens!
Dreamer, don't worry too much about the spelling, honest. Your writing improves chapter by chapter with this story, and your story-line is fabulous. The dialogue between Legolas and Mirduin had me in tears and the one between Erintur and Haldir had me laughing out loud! You've built a fascinating cast, given them interesting issues, and write a MEAN spanking scene! (Make Erestor CRY! :D) hee hee. errr.. tell him to stop glaring at me!
Sure, a good spell-checker is always a bonus, and sometimes I have to reread a word here and there to figure out exactly what you were saying, but I always find it worth it.

Ooh! Legolas layin' down the law! Uh... I think Haldir gets it. If he hurt Thranduil he'd have more than just Legolas to deal with! I'm a bit more worried about Haldir getting hurt...either that or anticipating it! :D
