Reviews for Memories Of Findekáno

This story is one of the best I've read about Maedhros and Fingon so far. Fingon's character development is both utterly convincing an heart-rending, and I think it was about time that someone pointed out that it wouldn't be much fun to be Fingon either. Another strong feature of this story is Fingon's wife. Her caharcter and fate ares both very sad and very convincing.
One one slight criticism - a question really: why do you have her cut her wrists? It feels for me like something an elven woman wouldn't do. Why don't you let her fade away and go to mandos willingly? After all there are several elven woman who didi so whan they found that their life had become unebarebele for some reason.
Anyhow, this story is an istan't favourite!

The emotional scenes were very touching and well-written. I found myself hoping, rather irrationally, that Fingon would go back to being who he was in Valinor. I also thought that they way it all played out was quite well-done.
