"Everyone's heads spun toward the door when they heard a low protective growl....
Glorfindel stood tall in the archway with his arms crossed and eyes narrowed "He said, he is my mate""

Cool! I really am quite curious about this lord now, this fic just gets better and better as it developes. well done. much more fun to read than theorizing about diaspora *groan.* admit the drugging sounds quite amusing, thank goodness for a scratch thorn!

Ooh boy... spit fire is right. I think Glorfindel's father just met his match in many people. I am interested to see how this will work out, as Glorfindel has done a great deal in his life and in his second life, more than his father certainly.

    Phew! All caught up!
Interesting turns this story has taken! And over 60 chapters! Who would have thought it back in the beginning?

Oh la la; Glorfindel's ada is in for some surprises! But I doubt that the Valar would had send him to do harm to Fin. I think there is a hidden significance to his coming to Imladris. Besides, Erestor would not let anything happen to his mate now, would he? Appereances are deceiving and besides, didn't you say in the beginning of this story that Erestor has a nice collection of daggers? He might be tempted to use them. As for a new story from old me, I am working on it. In fact, I am working on three at the same time. Those plot bunnies are relentless! And do not worry my friend: as long as you are writing, I am reading!
    Your number one fan,
    Maelle.

Again very good, I admit I am looking forward to the new developments which will occur with Lord Glorduin's arrival, LOL! Cool! Oh and I am fine, just buried under Uni work. It's my third and final year *shudder* so much work to do. I am enjoying a great respite from work with each new chapter.
    all the best

(Gasps) Glorfindel's Adar! My Lord, the Valar really love that elf! First, he gets pregnant because he wished for a child, then he asks for his ada and lo and behold! Glorfindel must be a happy elf. I never saw that one coming. Kudos to you, Dreamer!

Whoa, Dark! Fin's daddy? Oh, brother...what makes me think he's not going to be very happy with a pregnant ion? Is Erestor going to get to go "warrior" on his father-in-law's butt? And poor Orophin and Linder! All those elflings! I hope 'Phin gets even with Haldir for setting him up like that!

    Hurry and update Dark!

    :D

Oops! Well Elrond and Thranduil should have locked their door, before engaging in 'not-worksafe'-activities. Let's hope Ormeril won't be asking her parents if they sometimes act the way the two elflords did. Although ... might make for some funny situations if she did.
Oh and Tordren doesn't yet seem to know he has become Ormeril's latest victim. Poor Tordren, Ormeril has set her sights on him, and since he's not bound yet...

*laughs* Oh I love Haldir's daughter, she really has her sights set high, but I am curious as to why she is so fascinated with the healers. And I also love how you're showing the emotional changes that Glorfindel must be going through due to the pregnancy, they come out very well. I am also glad to have told you some information you didn't know. I know a lot of wierd trivia.

LOL Now that is an interesting form of pica! Tree bark indeed! What an odd craving! hehehe
And Ormeril is so cute! I loved her description of Elrond, and how matter of fact she seemed about the idea that she would have to be with Elrond as well. Too cute!
I wonder which poor elf they'll try to turn her attentions to now!

LOL! A hormonal, food-craving, pregnant Balrog-slayer. Gee, wouldn't want to get on his bad side. Poor Erestor, what did he get himself into. Oh wait, none of this is actually his fault, but hey, I'm pretty sure Glorfindel won't see it that way. Chocolate-covered bark, hmm, maybe this could become the latest Imladris fashion.

Ai and poor Thranduil, being chased by Ormeril. It seems he'd rather be chased by a pack of howling wargs, close on his heels. At least this is all happening in Imladris and he doesn't need to worry too much about his reputation back home. ...unless off course, if one of his sentries, inadvertently lets his guard slip.

Oh and Haldir made a very good recovery discussing Elrond's 'wisdom lines', with his daughter.

Chocolate covered bark... that is a new one. *thinks* well, some of the Native Americans used to boil willow bark in water for tea and that has the same chemical as asprin, so I suppose that in someway this makes sense... *thinks* maybe.
