    Ooh!
Lovely lovely! I am... well, I'm surprised at Boromir. (Hands him some ice for his bruised shins. *Sorry about that*) In fact, I do believe his feelings are hurt, that he wanted Legolas to really care for him! Well..maybe this is a good thing after all! I cannot tell you how hard the wait for this chapter has been! I kept checking back over and over!

That was another nicely done chapter. It was just a *bit* surprising given the circumstances that Legolas could react with true passion (without any ear licking, that is *g*), but at least Boromir tried. Too bad for him that Legolas does not come to him willingly. And *shame* on him, knowing this, to baldly state that he expects to use Legolas again in the future - and as many times as he can manage, too.

At least Gimli is, as Aragorn puts it, "out of the game".

Too bad that Legolas doesn't feel like he can explain to Aragorn the whys and wherefores. Not, at this point, that it would do any good - with the bargain already made, and Aragorn bound and determined to "protect" Legolas thereby.

I hope that Aragorn's vision does not come to pass - or even come close to coming to pass. That was a nice point there, though - about how Boromir could feed the spell quickly, without all the preliminaries that Aragorn needs. Speaking of which, I get the feeling that the light bulb is going to come on over Boromir's head on that, sooner or later, and it will be interesting to see what that does to the tangled relationships.

I find your story intruiging and disturbing to the point that I have to stop often because it gets to intense for me. I wondered why, thinking that maybe I have reached my limit regarding explicit torture scenes. I realize now it is the apprehension frequently included in Legolas' perceptions. I alternate between abandoning your story and reading on in the hope of a happy ending, though it seems to become more unlikely with each chapter. Is there even the slightest chance that things get better?

Oh! Lovely lovely. More back-story. And I don't give a orcs behind if Aragorn doesn't know the whole story! He darn well aughta be able to figure out what this is doing to Legolas! BAH! A curse on stubborn rangers!

Lovely is the word for the flashback scene. It's so sweet and heartwarming. It let viewers know exactly why Legolas fell in love with Aragorn. It's sad that their relationship has deteriorate from a wonderful friendship (and subsequently lovership) into this true master-slave relationship, where Legolas temble in fear whenever Aragorn is angry.

I don't blame Aragorn for extending the bond. Although Legolas feel very bad about it, Aragorn only has his best interest in mind. I'm sure Aragorn didn't want to share Legolas with others too. But after the near death experience last time, this is the only way he feels can guarantee Legolas's survival.

I like this story and am enjoying it. Please continue!!! and if you feel like beeing extra nice and giving us some more posts very soon I would be delighted. (I'm voting for legolas/gimli at the end. LOL) Not that I really want to "see" that mind you. But I could see gimli eventurally, being a friend to him and it is gimli that sailed with him after aragorns death. Anyway back to lurking.

    Chapter 30 review...

Lovely chapter. Still full of angst, but not horror.

I'm still hoping Legolas will find a source of comfort and hope. That his future will be brighter. But I love the tale you tell!

    Wow, another chapter up! Great!

It's not that I object to flashbacks, not at all. I just don't want to lose the main story thread on a long detour. Which is why I suggested that things should be interspersed more.

As for this chapter, that was a lovely sentimental flashback, but even better, you tied it in well and got us back to the current matter at hand - Legolas' concerns/despair re being forced to share himself with Boromir. We know a lot more now - the details of the sharing with the Rangers, and that Aragorn doesn't know the full story of what happened when Legolas was captured - and that is all pertinent as well. Not that it can help much since the bargain is already made, but I have to wonder *is* Legolas ever going to tell Aragorn of those first two months? Or is the shame still too great?

    Looking for the next update...

I'm glad that Legolas enslavement to the twins actually did him some good. It is ironic that the ones who hurt him the most during this enslavement period (to the twins) are also the ones who allowed (and even helped him a bit) to heal.

As for him trusting Glorfindel more than Aragorn. This is perfectly natural since Glorfindel has never hurt him even once while Aragorn althought truly loves him has hurt him several times. I'm glad that the is a least one light in the darkness that help Legolas get through his most difficult period.

Anyway, a good chapter as always. I'm looking forward to his encounter with Aragorn and how Aragorn capture his heart.
