There will be a happy ending wont there? I really like all the naughty Glorfindel bits, but one day he has to fall in love with Erestor and regret being mean (even though I really like him mean...sexy elf). Please write more chapters and speed up if you can I love this story.

When Erestor mentioned the black magic books I was thinking "Hey, maybe he can try some of that stuff out on Glorfindel..." but how sweet and innocent could Erestor stay if he did that? No, no, I guess Erestor will just have to be continually molested... I think I understand why Glorfindel is such a bastard - I mean, how would you feel if you were horny 24/7 and the honey you wanted hated your guts? Psh, yeah, I'd be pretty bitchy, too XD
Oh and -blinks- is your mum really your beta? o.o Your mum is a slash-fan? ...that would be, like, cool and creepy at the same time XD

Well, well, well, someone is jealous, how nice! However Glorfindel should stop kissing elleths, when there are cute elves like Erestor around. I really like the interaction between Erestor and Glorfindel and I hope to see more in the next chapter. By the way, I still don't like her.

you are an angst goddess glorfindel is an insufferable bastard and woe becomes erestor! i can't believe i have to wait a week for more...waaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! and what's with miss lemme flash my cleavage?!?! stupid opportunistic elleth...grrrrrrr. so much for the becoming relatively untouchable if engaged plan huh *sighs* oh well...it was worth a shot. you did a marvellous job of exposing just how impotent one can feel when there is such a lack of autonomy over one's space and body. erestor's response was wrenching but so understood, what is there to do but cry, at least over his tears he has control. i'm keeping in mind too that glorfindel has only just reached his majority and is in that twilight time between adolescence and adulthood when the arrogance and selfishness of childhood hasn't yet really been tempered by experience or maturity but the status of being an adult gives him even greater power and privledge than he had before (um...am i doing a good job of sorta-kinda-trying to justify his actions to myself?) which is scary seeing how he's using that power and privelge...oh...and he likes knees does he...yeah i'd like to introduce him to some knees--grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay so i am still rooting for the balrog at this point...and yeah i *so* needed comfort food after that. you can have the cookies i needed the extra fortification of peanut butter cups. OOoo *Makes a googly eyed look* Erestor's gonna get engaged! E-N-G-A-G-E-D!!! Holy ****!!! T_T What ever happened to all those beautiful moments with Glorfin-poo? *Sniggers* Well, I know Erestor's just usin' her an' all that, but... Make sure Erestor tells her about 22 years later that he couldn't love her and blahblahblah angst blahblahblah tears and etc. =3 Just to make sure, y'know. Oh! And beauuuutiful chapter ^___^ I'm glad I gave Glorfin-poo bruises-- he deserved 'em!

*Heaves relieved sigh* no Erestor torment this chapter yay! but...but...she's an elleth *waaah!* s'okay the plan is coming together and Erestor deserves someone kind and caring in his life that's actually his age. I hadn't forgotten Turgon in my slam on the nobles but my review was getting kinda long *sheepish grin* You're a great writer so I'm sure Glorfindel will be our lovable hero by the end, I just have to remember that knuckleheadedness is a temporary condition while you're in the midst of crafting this most compelling story. Can't wait for next week and Thank you for sharing with us (I think we may need to arrange for more cookies-hee hee)!

Heh, yeah I understand what you were doing, but still, if you wanted it attempted rape it should have been attempted. You know, Glorfindel i sa real arsehole in this story. So if we beat Glorfindel in the head enough, he'll come around? Or maybe he doesn't change until after the Balrog pwns his ass o_O; Or maybe if Erestor stabs him with that quill enough...
Side note - It's pretty amusing that the King got drunk XD I mean, how many times do you see that happen - to an elf, no less? Teehee...
Anyway, I won't go into more fangirl ranting, but I do enjoy your story! Yay for happy endings! Keep it up! ^_^ *gives cookies*

Bad Glorfindel, Bad Glorfindel. What's wrong with that elf hurting my dear Erestor and worst of all scaring him with the promises of a even worst future. Don't get me wrong, I adore Glorfindel, but I don't like when Erestor is being hurt, however don't marry him with an elleth, why don't you find him a nice and cute ellon, that would be so wonderful, perhaps he could be happy for some years before Gondolin is destructed and we could have a jealous Glorfindel, yes that would be great. And don't worry your safety is in good hands as long as you finish this fic (with a happy ending if you please)

Sigh--the wringing hands has become gnashing teeth. I'm with SilverWolf on this...Glorfindel's assault is more than an attempt to rape Erestor. Rape is violation and Glorfindel is guilty! Off with his head!--mmm, belay that I want to know what happens next, but Ari's plan of blunt arrows in large quantities would be good. I no longer want to turn him over my knee I want to beat him with a blunt object about the head and leave him in a bloody heap in the kitchen refuse alley! You sooo owe us a spirit bolstering chapter cause this one is just heartbreaking. At least in this universe elves don't fade on being raped (at least I hope not--gasp! You wouldn't be that cruel would you?!?)

And Erestor really needs to know how to defend himself now...Glorfindel has that whole occasionally prophetic thing going (not by the hand of man...) so the 'just wait 'til you're of age and everyone really wants you' should be a warning our little Erestor heeds cause dad's plan is seriously lacking. Depending on honour and a sense of tradition to keep his son safe when none of the nobility (hah--nobility there's a laugh) have shown a whit of decency. And...the sense of entitlement the nobles have is...just WOW...sure rape is okay if your victim is *just* a scribe or servant they don't have worth...and slaves?!?! OMG will we even recognise our beloved Glorfindel in the next chapters?

You certainly have your work cut out for you in redeeming Glorfindel and his age cohort, at this point I'm willing to cheer for the Balrog! See you next week, I can't wait!

Sorry, just thouhgt I would sayu, no matter that it was not much, penetration was still present. This was not attempted rape, but rape itself.

Anyways, I hope Erestor stays safe, and that Glorfindel matures! Sheesh, how many times do you have to hit his head, to make him realize that 'restor is his one and only? O_O;

I think you'd have to hit him a thousand times with blunted arrows. Yep, mean, but I think so. Since he of course, defeated a Balrog, why the hell not!
