Oh, you made me cry! Elrond's grief is palpable. Very well done. It's so cool how you are working this into the movie canon, and still completely making it your own story. I absolutely love that.

So Elrond finally confessed his love to Legolas. It's a sad thing, it had to happen in such dreadful circumstances. But I am sure things will work out for both of them. It just has to.
I had been wondering about Legolas going home for a visit or having Thranduil or his brothers (don't even know if he has any) coming to visit him in Imladris. Ai poor Elrond, it seems once again he has to let a loved one go. Well, I hope Legolas will return swiftly to his arms.

That was very beautiful and yet so bittersweet! *sniffle* Legolas finally hears the words, as you say, only to have to leave soon afterward. *fetches Kleenex* I eagerly await the next chapter, even as I must say thanks for the regularity of your updates. This is just an amazing fic Kath, and I'm so glad that Dark chose the right person to sic the plot bunny on. *Smile*

GODS - that was, that was so...intense! This chapter really tore at my heart and made me wheep for Elrond! I loved how he confessed his feelings... but how much can one take, how many losses - even if he's an elf?! Let Legolas return swiftly at his side, before he breaks!
    Great chapter. Please more!!!

Poor Estel. I love how you've worked his and Arwen's story into this. I'm a slash girl all the way, but with Legolas as such a part of Estel's life, I love to see how Estel's life struggles effect him as well. I also really enjoyed the way Legolas offers solace and advice to Elrond. He's such an important part of that house now. This has gone in so many interesting directions, while all the while keeping Elrond and Legolas at its center. Just fabulous! Thank you luv!

It should be of great comfort to Elrond to have such a sage mate in Legolas. His wisdom is great for his years, no doubt because of the adversity that he has faced as Prince of Mirkwood. I just hope that Elrond does not long delay speaking his true and full feelings to his husband. Legolas needs to hear that. Excellent chapter, dear!

So Estel has grown up to become a nice young man and has been told of his true heritage. That must have been the hardest thing for Elrond to do, knowing the risk this revelation would involve, namely to lose Arwen, but still he did what he had to do. Even after needing a little persuasion from Legolas. Surely Elrond now deserves a little comfort to take his mind of his daughter's fate.

Haha - you update quicker than I come to read and review!!! - But I'm definitely NOT complaining! *grin*
OH, I love your story! Elrond and Legolas together are HOT! I wonder if Elrond will confess his love for Legolas in words before they are sailing west one day... And I like how you added Aragorn - makes me feel like reading a history of Imladris!
So, what else is there to say aside from wonderful - fantastic - great - marvellous??? Nothing!

    Hugs,

Double cheers for the twins! Hurrah! for finally welcoming Legolas into their hearts and Hurrah! for bringing the two lovebirds together. Otherwise who knows how long those two would have waited, with Elrond not wanting to force himself upon Legolas and Legolas waiting for some cue from his husband that this one longs for his touch. Silly lovefools, both of them.
And so, after nearly two months, Legolas is finally where he should have been from the start. Moving into his husband's bedroom, aka the 'master'-bedroom, or the nuptial suite. *wonders whether there will still be some kind of 'bonding celebration' now that it is clear to everyone that they love each other. - imagines little Estel running down the aisle with the bonding rings.

Gods! That was beautiful! This whole story is beautiful, but that last chapter was HOT! I love it when Legolas takes control!
I'm glad the twins are finally accepting the situation. And I loved the surly Erestor in the previous chapter.
I didn't review before 'cause I didn't know what else to say but that I really love the story, but what the hell. I really love this story!

YES! Forceful Legolas makes my toes curl, and I'm doubley pleased with the sweet kisses and loving words that followed. This was a feel good chapter all around, with the twins approaching Legolas as they did, and Estel falling into a more contented routine with Arwen and Legolas. I love the image of Legolas making him a baby bow...so endearing. Ch. 6 really made me smile. It also made me horny...but you probably don't want to know that, lol. I'm going to have sweet dreams tonight of Elrond and his feisty-sweet young husband. Thats a great combination isn't it?

You've been very generous with your posts. I wish all authors were as kind. I know it is difficult to be prompt when writing a story, and I'm just happy your muses are really working with you on this. Take care.
