Thats it! I don't like Maglor anymore! Unless of course, he is also up to something to protect Legolas. Loved the series - eagerly anticipating the next one tx binky x

I still think Maglor should have sailed then he could have had a hissy fit with the Valar for allowing Sauron to take him. At least he doesnt feel guilt anymore - a destructive and ruling emotion. So now he can look forward to other things cant he? loved it! binky x

Things really happen in the story. I know how it is to wish to get feedback on the stories you written and put up. I have some that has been here over a year and still hasn't been reviewed or very few.

I am so happy that they escaped, although I wish they could have brought the children with them. And Maglor... I want him to be free!! I want him to find true happiness! I don't want Sauron to have him (in the end at least) and I don't want the Valar to be as uncaring and cruel as Sauron made them out to be!
I also can't wait to see what happens when Legolas gets back to Lorien or Mirkwood and has to relate his tale to the others. I can just see some elf at some point commenting to him that he is beautiful without realizing, and Legolas freaking out. heheheh
I hope your surgery goes well!!

Oh, dear me... this is just... heartbreakingly beautiful. And frightening. And fan-frigging-tastic.... I don't have enough good words to describe this. It is brilliant, it is beautiful, it is SO well done... my heart aches for Maglor and Legolas both, for the children, even on some bizarre level for Sauron... and I fear what will come when the two escapees together or separately encounter others.... God! This is the kind of writing that sticks with one forever. Thank you SO much for sharing this glorious dark vision!

hahaha sauron has had horrid things happen to him instead of doing them to others. The snow scenes are lovely as is mithedhel's realisation of what snow is. love it tx binky x

So Athan has decided to live away from his parents, hm, he will find that living away from home is not all its cracked up to be. I liked the scene where sauron stopped maglor from fading - you could almost believe that sauron is capable of finer feelings! loved it as usual tx binky x

Good old maglor for trying to resist sauron. At least we know why Athan hates maglor - a bit of a surprise that he hates legolas too. Has sauron spawned a child just like himself or a viper in his bosom? I hope its a viper lol tx binky x

Athan needs a damn good slapping but maglor dare not and legolas wont even see that there is anything wrong! And mithedhel has buggered off - probably at the suggestion of sauron? loved it and yes i do want to see a sequel so i am going to tie you to the computer and stand over you with endless cups of coffee lol tx binky x

So Athan is a little sneak is he? Make Sauron whip his ass for being a tell tale lol I loved the sequence where they told each other about life outside in the forest. Looking forward to the next part. tx binky x

Poor Maglor! I am wondering - if Maglor one day says that he doesnt have any guilt and doesnt seek forgiveness or punishment for doing something awful, will that mean that Sauron will consider that he has moved a step further in his completion of his ultimate plan for Maglor? Is Sauron using Athan's eyes to see what is happenning in the room? Isnt Mithedhel sweet? Good luck for Monday - it will probably hurt a lot less than the pain you have been going through recently! Hey!!

Yes, sorry, I've been silent the last few days. Work has been an ever-loving bitch, and just now had a chance to sit down and catch up.

As usual, I know I'm sounding like a broken record and wish I could leave better reviews, well done; and I'm still loving it. I'll be anxiously awaiting more.

    Later,
    Daphne

I think that was the best chapter yet! Sauron's evil was hammered home to anyone who could make the mistake of doubting it. He also tortures Maglor by killing anyone who reminds him of him, so reinforcing the idea that he could/would like to kill him at some point and that being allowed to die at present is not an option (he enjoys holding that power and maglors reaction to it). I may be wrong but i think sauron "needs" to kill maglor and so has maglor substitutes to fulfill that "need." I suppose being a hedonist would entail pleasure/pain as being of equal value. He seems to be the perfect example lol I may be completey wrong however lol tx binky x
