I know you're probably keeping busy by writing "Jewel Of Mirkwood" (which I also read and enjoy), but are you ever planning on coming back to this story? You left it at a rather inconvenient spot! What a tease, so close to finally getting what they want and you stop writing.

This story is driving me crazy (in a really good way). Please, please update soon. I really NEED to see the conclusion of this series.

I really should write something useful. I like your writing style. Perhaps a little once over for spelling errors wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, it flows nicely. I appreciate you sticking with one POV throughout the story. Shifting POVs is a pet peeve of mine, I guess. You really know how to create tension. I catch myself holding my breath a lot. It isn't that I'm dying for smut but I'm going crazy waiting for Aragorn and Legolas to finally get together.

Just wanted to sayI've loved this series since Creature Comforts. Yes its piled on the angst and yes you've made us suffer but |I sense you're going to give us our just reward...the classic A/L Happy Ending? You weave plot and sensitive characterisation so well- definitely superior RPS. Incidentally, I confess I was a bit confused by the son/lover motivation too, but it didn't remotely - I was too focussed on the Aragorn Legolas tension with a side order of Haldir jealousy. Can't wait for the next bit - and a huge thank you for writiog this.

Hi! I just read the other reviews and I have to aggree that there should be some form of justice against Aragorn's son and Elrohir. I can't quite make it out why Elrohir would turn against Legolas. They were friends since Creature Comforts. Maybe there should be some explanations for this. Also, I might be a little dense but I gather thae ple planned kidnapping of Legolas - he was the one being searched yes? - was for the purpose of having him violated by Aragorn's son so he can get back at Aragorn for not approving his love with a male? or so that Aragorn will realise his own need for a male lover in Legolas? What is the real intention behind this act? Well, I hope there will be further explanations. But as I said, thisone one of my favourite slash fics. Keep writing!!!

I have been following your stories since they were posted in Nindaiwe as the Dutiful Lover Series. I know this is the third of and I have to congratulate you on each of the stories, from Creature Comforts, Gondor's King and Forest Whispers. I did not like slash at the start but your work is one very good reason why one should be open to this kind of writing. I like the way you tell them from the point of view of Aragorn - very insightful and emotional. There are some typographical errors or sometimes I think a sentence is missing a word or article but this does little in taking away the credit due you as a writer. Please continue and no matter what the ending is, I know you would have justified it with the way you conceptualise the story and the way you write it as well.

Hmm...To tell you the truth, I was mystified after the first chapter of this final part of the trilogy as to why Aragorn and Legolas who are so in love with one another and have bonded have not consummated their love. Begrudgingly, I can grant that I understand Aragorn's feelings even though this is hell on the reader. Will we ever have any happiness? Angst is a good device to use to maintain excitement in a story but I personally feel that no resolution to the angst is very dissatisfying. As for Aragorn's eldest.....I think he has been rewarded for his vile behavior. He wanted Elrohir and he has him. Where is the punishment for his assault on Legolas? And Elrohir was involved as well. I think everyone's behavior towards the two of them seems too forgiving to me. Can Elrond and Haldir actually care for the two who acted so shamefull I k I know you had Aragorn saying he understood his son's motives but , to tell the tr I d I do not. Not in any way that can excuse them. Everyone has reason's for what they do...reasons do not equate to excuses. I intend to continue reading....the buildup of this great love affair which has never been allowed to reach fruition has a lot of good points.....but.....there should be some payoff for the characters who have suffered so much and for the reader who has suffered along with them.
