Awwww! The poor little Sprout! I think Ithiloth is mean.... :-( The poor little guy is just lonely.... And Tulus shouldn't have over-reacted so! I think she has some of that "fear of illegitimacy" you mentioned before....

But what wonderful chapters! Thank you so much for continuing! I so badly needed to have something lovely and wonderful to read, given what's been going on here of late.... and here you are with two wonderful, lovely, grand chapters! I just adore this story, and adore your writing! Thank you thank you thank you!!! :-)

I can't wait for more.... :-) Aren't readers horrible creatures?? You give us two chapters and then we beg for more.... *bangs forehead on ground* Forgive me, First Writer!!! :-) And thank you so much....

    Hugs,
    Jasta

Yeah! You've updated. I so love this story (even though I'm awful at reviewing - haven't done so up to now, but hey as they say better late than never). I like the way you're portraying Legolas as a child. You can easily see him as a child in this story, asking all kinds of embarrassing but innocent questions. Poor babe, he really didn't mean anything by it when he asked Tulus when the baby would be born. And from his point of view I can sympathize; he's quite eager to have a playmate close to his own age. Well I do hope Sîrgell won't be too mad at his little brother for humiliating his 'intended' and that Ithiloth won't punish him too harshly. I am also curious as to how the other elvenleaders: Elrond, Celeborn and Cirdan might react to the fact that Thranduil doesn't hold real power in his realm but that the true power resides in the hands of his wifes. Anyway I am also happy to see you will continue and finish this story.

OH!!! How wonderful--an update!!!! Thank you thank you thank you thank you a thousand times over!!!! :-)

What a wonderful and confusing chapter... was that KLINGON they were speaking???? And how could Ferlass possibly have blamed poor little Legolas! He had to have known the Mothers would make the child eat no matter what....

But wow, Eirian is... scary in a good way! LOL!

Thank you so much for the update! I can't wait to see more!!

    !!!!
I can't believe that you haven't posted a new chapter yet!! LOL. It's such a complete turn around from Feud. I like to read it atfer reading the aforementioned fic. Its so light-hearted, and Legolas is very heart-wrenchingly adorable, heart-warmingly enchanting, and devishly charming (poor Cugu!). Not to mention tis amusing what his curiousity can get him into.
Will this by any chance be any where as long as Feud?

Lovely story ! And Legolas is such a cute little child here. I like the fact that he acts and reacts as a real child and not as a miniature adult even though he is Thranduil's youngest son and the Tawarwaith (hope I spelled that right). You can really see him running loose in the palace, holding a comforter in one hand while sucking his thumb and a teddybear in his other hand.
Oh and I cannot wait until Sîrgell has to explain to Legolas why Toloth and Cugu share a room and a bed even though they are not related.
As for the offending porridge, I hope Sîrgell or Thranduil will just make Ferlass eat it all himself (Let's add a double serving of rabbit droppings for good measure). Poor Legolas, how mean of Ferlass to try and make him eat rabbit droppings.

Anyway, looking forward to reading more.

Hola Erobey.Yes, he is complicated to translate the stories. But you write very well, is a pleasure to read your stories. Feud is wonderful and this one also. It surprises and it pleases the good to me that you write. You understand something of Spanish?

AI!!! Rabbit droppings in the child's porridge??? No WONDER the poor little Elfling didn't want it! I hope Ferlass gets a right proper beating for this.... I seem to recall they were all worried over the child's lack of desire to eat anyway, so to torment him through his food just seems so mean!! Does Ferlass not like the little princeling?? :-(

I did think the scene in the bedchamber was hilarious.... I can just imagine waking up to a giggling child and a baying wolfhound.... (grin)

What a wonderful story. I can't wait to see why the title is what it is, though we got a foreshadowing in Legolas finding a book about Gondolin and Glorfindel in the library that time....

Thanks for this delightful tale! And thanks for your kind words to me.

    Cheers,
    Jasta

Oh, my dear, I am delighted and privileged to leave reviews for you, especially in this charming, delightful tale! You already know I love your writing, and that stories where the humour and affection are underlain with angst and dark sadness are my favourites.... :-) This fits all the bills, and this new chapter is just wonderful. I also hugely appreciate the listing of Thranduil's wives and their various children. So, first Wife is also Legolas's aunt, is she? I hope she loves him as much as Ada's younger wife loves the child....

But such a deep-spirited little toddler, so wise and wonderfully precocious--but still very much a child, with his dog-hair-covered, spit-shined fingers (poor Erestor!! *snicker*) and his many many questions.... I look forward to the next chapters of this story!

I guess it would be too much to hope that in "Feud", Thranduil will ever admit his paternity and seek the forgiveness of his own child... *sob!* But this Thranduil is wonderful and adorable, and I just love the relationship he has with his special little son. Rock on--this is a great story!!

    Cheers,
    Jasta

This is SUCH a good story... is it in a different timeline and milieu from Feud? It is so lovely to see Thranduil as a good (and fricking PROLIFIC!) Adar.... :-) I love his interaction with each of the children, especially little Legolas, the baby of a big bunch. (Is this kid able to even breathe without some older sibling swooping down on him to make him behave?? )

I love the way you use words, and look forward greatly to more chapters. Thanks for this neat tale!
