Glad to see that Frodo is somewhat sentient, even if it was only briefly! More please, and soon? :-)

Aw. I know Frodo is suffering, but somehow it makes it all the more poignant to have Sam suffer through it with them. Another great chapter!

Great! Another chapter, and another one on the way. Glad that Estel sent someone to tell the hobbits what was going on!

It sounds as if they haven't even realized the extent to which poor Frodo has been damaged. I hope they make it to Imladris for Elrond's help!

RUN FERNY RUN! Not that I want him to get away, or anything. :-)

    Great chapter!

Ouch, I think Frodo might need some aspirin! I hope he can swim!

Oh, no worries. I was just wondering. I almost missed reading the chapter before the one where Ferny tossed the bucket over Frodo, but I went back and read it. :-)

I like your Sam. Oh my, will Estel get involved? And who's this elf that happened to hear Ferny? And will anyone arrive before Ferny doles out his punishment to Frodo? Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out!

Did you add a chapter before a chapter you had already posted? Nah, I think I missed reading one... but I caught up. Anyway, Sam is just so adorable, worrying over Rosie and Frodo at the same time. :-) At least now they know who it was that took Frodo, even if they don’t know where he is! Great chapter(s)!

Frodo yelling for his friends to save him was very, very heart wrenching. I kind of wish they would, but then, I'm also looking forward to what else Ferny has in mind for our dear Frodo. And I must agree with the hobbit -- to live through Mordor and then die in Ferny's hands would be serious injustice!

    Love the story!

Oh wow. Frodo must be glad he passed out, rather than to face his attacker after such an ordeal! Forcing Frodo to enjoy it was an evil twist. I like it! :-) But I do hope that someone rescues Frodo. 'Mad Baggins' indeed! Poor hobbit!

Yes, poor Frodo. *snickers* I could just hear Sam screaming in this chapter. Old what's his face ... Sean Astin, is it? ... did a good job of Sam in the movie, and I hear his voice yelling, “We have to find him! We have to go after him!”

Great chapter. The suspense is building!

You're welcome. Thank you for updating so quickly!

Eeep! I think that someone needs to come to Frodo's rescue, or he'll be riddled with knife-shaped holes! :-)

You characters are right on what I would imagine the characters would be like -- if they were fleshed out a bit more than they were in the books. :-)

My, my! Poor Frodo, thinking that Bill hurt Sam and Rosie!

I've never read a hobbit-based story before, but I took a chance tonight, thinking I might enjoy it, and am glad I did. This is well-written and very interesting. I like that you are taking your time in telling the story, too, as some people would just skip the plot and go straight to the sex/pain.

Btw, I could be wrong, but I think gaffer is a term for grandfather, and as such, would not be used as 'the Gaffer.' But I might be wrong. :-) Anyway, though, I hope you update soon. Since you haven't warned for slash, I'm assuming that the h/c in this story (if you don't intend to be entirely dark and kill off Frodo,) will be from his friends. I can't wait for the comfort, even though we haven't even begun the hurt. :-)
