Whew! Glad Seere and Elrond made it through that debacle caused by Oropher. Elrond acted like a drunken fool and Seere was way to insecure in herself and Elrond's affection for her. What's next?

A few days without internet and I got two new chapters at once. But right now I would have difficulties to give a summary of chapter 59 because chapter 60 is really, really marvellous.

I thought while watching the movie that the Dead Marshes were such a depressing sight. And the dead bodies were so sad. A great idea of yours to save them. The description of this scene is heartbreaking. Such a long time of suffering.

And if that wasn't enough came the next surprise. Seere the reborn Gil-Galad? I've suspected that a few chapters before when Seere was so disturbed by her dreams but then I thought she must have renembered that after some time. I was convinced when Elrond explained that Gil-Galad would send her that dreams. How will Erestor react? His daughter being his former high king?

I can't wait for the next chapter. You left us again with an evil cliff hanger. Please hurry.

I have no doubt that you will, m'dear. You've very clever. Had thrown me off for a while on the whole Seere is Ereinion line of thinking I had going, only to make me realize that I wasn't so far off at all. Now that's good writing. Keep 'em guessing. *grin*

Thank you so much for that chapter. Your story has been worthwhile for itself as well as that chapter. I'm patting myself on the back for having guessed Seere's secret identity. Good that Oropher and the others who have been freed are willing to give her their allegiance for the upcoming fight with the Hordes. Love this story.

Work has been a pain lately and kept me from my reading. However, I was able to sit down tonight and read Ch.52-59 finally, and I am feeling much better about it. I just adore this story and your writing style, Sharon. I admire the depth that you go to in your research and have been happy to tell people about this story, though I think most of them are reading it at LAF, instead of here. It's just easier for me to locate here than there among the myriad of posts. You are still doing such a wonderful job. There are few multi-chaptered stories that I keep up with with such interest. In fact, I put this one right up there with the ones I've been reading by Eresse, Larien Elengasse, Suemichave, Minuial Nuwing and Gloromeien. Believe me, that is about as huge a compliment as I can give anyone. I practically worship the ground they walk on, lol. That just goes to show what an obvious natural talent you have for this. Rock on dear!! This is amazing! *big grin*

This is getting pretty exciting again. I hope Seere can ride again soon. To the Elves, freeing the fear from the Dead Marshes is a big deal. More please.

Thanks for the hunks of chocolate covered Elves for our enjoyment. Nice interlude BTW. Looking forward to more. I'm sure you wouldn't dare leave Elrond and Seere out of the fun forever.

I see you got the evil uncle back into the midst of things. Poor Seere and Elrond and never getting a chance to have some fun together.

Well, I'm so curious. What is it about this artifact? If so many orks and uruk-hai try to get it, it must be important.

Glorfindel and Haldir are so nice together. I enjoy the development of their relationship. More please!

I hope the glorious Golden Flower will survive the poisoning. They need to get to the fort and rest a bit. I love this story and look for it every day.
