Thank you so much for the wonderful chapter and the swim in the lake. We all know it's time for Elrond's petition to the Valar; will we have to wait until the sequel for that to happen? Still love this story and wait for what you have time and energy to give us.

Thank you so much for coming back to this. It's good to see Elrond having hope and Celebrian beginning to acknowledge her weaknesses. I await the petition to the Valar. More story please.

    Sharon ,
absolutly great as usual, I glad Los's huband didn't whimp out.
also that was a rotten thing she did to her daughter but that's RL.
lots of men and women do those thing to their kids. Great writing.

YAY!! I'm sorry that your real life interfered so much that you couldn't update much recently - I look forward to it every time I load the site. Seems to me Los has a TON to learn yet about her actions and I hope you don't lose the intensity you've kept up so well. I'm loving this and glad that the story is coming along so nicely :) Great work thus far and am already drooling in anticipation of the next story too :)

It's good see that Meril's father has come around and put his wife in her place for once. Doubt she will stay there willingly but it is a start. Meril has had to be so brave for so long since she has been so alone. More story please.

Sniffle, thanks for the tissues. I need them. I presume Meril's mother is going to need almost as much "help" as Haldir and Celebrian for her shameful treatment of her daughter. I am happy they will keep Meril asleep for this part of the angst and grief. More please.

WONDERFUL CHAPTER!!! I am sorry to see Meril have to plow through this mess but ya know it'll work out (I hope) ... I think there may yet be hope for Haldir but as for Meril's family - her mother especially is going to have a long, hard road to plow before Meril ever forgives her if she ever does. I look forward to the confrontation between Meril and Minual!!!!

Ahh! I hope Minuial is sent to come to Lorien so that Meril can give it to her! What an awful thing for a sister to do! Anyway, this was another brilliant chapter. Update soon! :o)

Gods... That was certainly hard for Meril... being betrayed by her own twin sister!
It's like Elladan makes a wicked move on Elrohir, or the other way around... it's just wrong!
I wonder now what's going to happen between her and her sister... and Elrond, what he should do?
I now I've been away, but I've never missed your updates, Sorsha! I'll wait for more!

    Greetings and many congrats!

Weeping again. Very difficult to see Haldir portrayed that way. He was good, though. Very brave to tell her the things he most feared to be found out. I hope she did not hurt herself too badly in the fall. Will she be in the lake soon now?

I also adored this chapter - Meril has a lot of inner strength and it showed clearly here. While I adore the more major characters I've developed a growing fondness for some of the more minor charactes - especially Elrond and Celeborn particuarly after purchasing the Silmarillion and devouring it (hanky required for me!) This story gets better and better - I hope it doesn't end soon... Who knows maybe your work will wake up my sleeping Muse?

Meril is cannier than those around her credit her for. She knew exactly the buttons to push to get through. Such a wonderful story.

Elrond and Celebrian's confrontation was written so well. I do think I could have held my anger in check as long as Elrond managed. It seems probable that the Valar will grant the petition eventually. Please keep writing this; it's so beautiful.

I'm really, really, really loving this story - its so well written and beautifully executed. You're being very true to the characters that we know about and giving life to some that aren't so known. It is pretty obvious to me that you love the books - all of JRRT's books - and are doing fans like me who have a hard time writing in this universe a great service in entertaining us :) I check constantly for an update - and hope that you are going to be working on this for a long time to come :) Fabulous work!!!
