Maltahondo+Nirielriel=Legolas??? My brain is trying to convince me..am I reading too much into it? *L* (eek, that would be beyond weird for L) I Love this tale & Can't wait for new chapters! They never dissapoint. Damn it would have been nice to hear the mother/son conversation. The scene with Gandalf sneaking a pie was highly amusing. Cheeky old wizard, leaving such a mess for the kitchen elves! And then he never even got to eat the prize..it's tragic. I still love Fearfaron..but even more now ;) Can't wait to find out more!

Hurray for Feafaron!! Ailinyéro is a bad, bad elf. He got off way too easily. I love this story. It's getting more and more interesting. I also hope that this will be a nice long story. So I'm guessing this will eventually lead to a L/E pairing and I do hope you mean Elrond. They are so appealing together.

I had to leave a review, though it's a rarity for me due to time. This is an incredible story, and I'm amazed you don't have many tens of reviews!! It's just so unique and new, and that must be hard to do when writing fanfiction. Your legolas is very fey & intruiging. I can't wait for future parts, the story keeps getting better and better (in a sense ;). The strong emotions throughout are so skillfully communicated, I literally shuddered during Legolas' torture, and, there was something just so sad about the very end of Chapter 8 that I began to cry (! fairly rare for me). Hooray for Fearfaron! I like this guy ^-^ Ailinyero is a bastard..he almost got off too easy (although *I* wouldn't want to face judgement from the Valar after committing such depraved acts, assuming he stands by his word). ~Maybe Legolas will encounter him beyond the realm's boundaries...~
Through Legolas' penance we are continually reminded that these were important people who died, can see the effect their absence has on those who loved them, and this makes them more real too. It's so well done in this story that I actually care about the lost elves.
This sounds like it might become quite a long tale, and I would be overjoyed if this were so! Is Legolas going to be paired with someone then? (should be obvious by L/E I think, but which E?? I'm curious, but equally willing to wait if it's a surprise)

    This update made my day!

Wow, this story is amazing! It's very different from anything I've read so far. The rituals and laws make it very interesting reading. Defnitely not the usual fare. I like Legolas being strong and feral. Please update soon.

This is a most unusual AU, with the unexpected (one might even say, bizarre) beliefs of the Mirkwood Elves. Chapter 3 was especially powerful *shudder*, and I fear what is to come in Chapter 7, half-way through the first sentence.

    Greetings!

I've just come across your story and have been completely blown away by it!

This storyline is brilliant and covers so much ground with Legolas background, Mirkwood religious beliefs, ulterior motives, hurt, suffering and the strength one elf finds within himself to survive.

Like I said, I love this!

I adored this last chapter in particular as it dealt mainly with Legolas solo and his heightened link with nature and how he has almost become more a nature spirit than an elf. Everything accepts him and welcomes him into the fold with no ulterior motives, no expectations just acceptance. It's beautifully written and I had to re-read it twice to fully appreciate just how much work you have woven into the fabric that makes up the characters surround. Very easy to read and become completely immured in the plot.

I am curios to the point of no return with who? And why? Someone sort to bring down the Prince. And I do NOT believe that that rock slide was an accident! Is Thranduil and his sons involved? Is the mother of the child who claimed Legolas' Princeship the one? What of the sick pervert who get's off one pain and degradation? (That character is a sick puppy).

Many Thanks for all your work so far and will read more when you post.
