Reviews for Sympathy with the Elf

Really pleased to see this here. It's unusual and creative to see Legolas in a modern setting. Particularly liked the references to history, Cromwell etc. that shows Legolas has been around men in this world and taking an active part in humanity's problems and concerns for a long time. It stresses his immortality and his love for the world and mortals as does his decision to spend his last night before sailing loving a human for the last time. It was a sad piece even though his going home to Valinor would be joyful, his memories and pain at leaving and the pull of his sea longing in the coastal town were poignant. Also loved his cerulean eyes and the wonder of his lover the morning after as he gazes on such perfection.
