I really enjoyed this story. I'm sorry that I didn't review beforehand but I always love to read the full story before I review and I really enjoyed your writing. Please keep writing. Thank you

Oh wow, I really liked this. I don't normally wander over into the LOTR fandom (okay, I'm not actually sure I ever have before), but I'm glad I did because I really really enjoyed this story. The ending was so sad, but kind of perfect because you knew it was coming. I also really enjoyed how you took part of the real storyline and just twisted it ever so slightly. It worked really well. I saw something about sequels, and I do hope that's true; I would love to see what happens to Legolas and Eomer and everyone else in your stories! And what an interesting pairing! I think I enjoyed it because of that fact, though. Both characters are important to the canonical stories, but are sort of removed enough from being true main characters that it feels like reading the same story from someone else's perspective this way, almost as if it actually happened that Eomer and Legolas had a relationship, but that was never mentioned in the real books because it didn't help the story or something.

    Really good story!

Splendiforous work! This story was an amazing adventure of it's own each installment egerly awaited and relished upon it's arrival. Thank you so much for taking the time to write and share this wonderful piece of writing. I will check in and see this sequal of yours which I'm sure will be excellent as well. Please keep it up as long as you wish! As it is, I'd like to end this on a humorous note. This line once read gave me a few innapropriate chuckles for reasons you may or may not surmise:

Elves have....."a surprisingly detailed knowledge of storerooms." As soon as I read this I thought 'Legolas you saucy boy' XD

Thanks, and have a happy holiday season!

Outsatnding job! It saddens me that you felt that people had given up on your wonderful story, because that is not the case for me. Thank you for sharing this great piece, I will continue to follow your writing on ff.net. Please continue to write as long as you feel inspired to do so. With your talent, I don't see how you can't continue to have readers.

Oh, gods... this actually had me reading through tears. The emotions you invoke are so very strong, both friendship and love, of things that must be and things that might have been. This was simply beautiful, and wrenching, and marvelous, and I thank you. Truly.

Oh, this was truly wrenching, for Legolas to see the destruction of his home, his father. Gods, Saruman got off too lightly.

The guilt Eomer feels for being a distraction is quite well done, and I do hope he is proved wrong.

Thank you so much for updating oncce more. I have to agree with Pippin on this one, almost all of the messages it seems are always mysterious ones about doom, count me out! I'd rather not get any message at all than one about the approaching genocide of my people or something along those lines. *wears her self made 'a Hobbit's way of life is a good one!' T-shirt* Indeed! I egerly await the next installment in this thrilling saga. Will Mary have a say next time??

Even in the midst of what is a warm reunion, you keep the tension up so well. Legolas is marvelously mysterious and elven, and seeing him through Pippin's eyes was wonderful. The contrast between Legolas's playful side and this grim warrior who cannot find rest is superb!

Ah, your Legolas is so mysterious, and alien, and utterly bewitching. I confess I am quite jealous of Eomer.

I did really enjoy the banter between Gandalf and Legolas. Prince though he is, Legolas is no match for Gandalf the White.

    Wonderful! :)

I agree with the tattoos on several body parts idea, it does in fact make perfect sense since otherwise there really would be no way of telling the identity of the fallen warrior. Saurmon has more devious designs on Legolas? *gasp* This isn't going to turn into a random N/C mpreg fic will it? *shifty eyes* just wondering....Regardless, great job as usual on this chapter. Please update again when you have the chance to do so.

Thank you so much for updating your wonderful story again. I particularly love how you ended the chapter with Legolas singing a lusty song, as I can clearly picture him belting out such a ballad with a rueful grin on his face the saucy boy! ;D Please update again when you can.

Cheeky wood elves, indeed... Poor Gimli really does have trouble figuring out his enigmatic friend, but it was good to see both Legolas and Eomer smiling.

There was a lovely, lyric quality to this chapter, and I really enjoyed Gimli's understanding of the similarities of the songs of his people and Legolas' people.

I am enjoying this tale quite a bit, and I especially like the almost protective relationship between Legolas and Gimli. You also do Eowyn justice, since I always felt like she got a bit shortchanged in places. The dance between Eomer and Legolas, as they feel each other out, so to sepak, was beautifully done.
