I loved this line in so many levels... I don't think I managed to read the rest of the fic, I'll have to read it again and again (and I know I will)
I was more into the Boromir/Faramir aspect of things but your Glorfindel is a seductive creature making me wish once more we hadn't gotten Xenarwen the Warrior Elf in FOTR. I wouldn't have minded a golden-haired angelic elf but in a way, perhaps it's better because I can imagine him. And I do like what I'm imagining from your descriptions.
