Oh, this was so lovely! I actually could have cried, first for their pain, then for their joy. I am lutelutely awestruck by the depth and range of emotion in this entire story, and this chapter (19) in partic. B. Beautiful! Please don't stop with their arrival...I would love to read Imrahil's reaction to his new immortal life...

Oh how lovely Eresse! I'm so glad Elladan has his Imrahil back. You know I think I like him much better for him having suffered a little. Does that make me some sort of sadist? No really, you've converted me, I like Elladan now. Hmmm, I wonder what other surprises are instore for them both now that Imrahil is an Elf? Loved the little joke about being a 'recent' elf btw - very quirky! I also liked the very believable "death" for Imrahil, elegant and simple but touching also with his children only being aware of his ultimate destination. And I have to admit that I enjoyed the whole 'almost too late' scenario more than I thought I would. But then I have a feeling your writing could make me interested in a paper bag blowing down the street. ~_^

Oh, the worry! The angst I can see coming!
Poor Elladan.

Eresse,
Wonderful as always! I knew that his chidren will give him their blessing. It's just only way for them to know that their father will not fade but will be enternally happy with his mate. And I am glad that Imrahil was brave enough to tell at least two of his children about him and Elladan. Prey that Imrahil will be there in time. Can't wait spouses reunion!
I love your dialogs, incredibly beautiful written.

So Imrahil has made the right decision at least! But it seems, Elladan will get neither his lover nor any message from him in Imladris? Surely he will postpone his departure for Mithlond until the very last possible day, and it will break his heart to think Imrahil has abandoned him! Poor Elladan! Please don't let any of them be too late in Mithlond - I can't wait for the happy reunion!
I'm glad Imrahil has told at least two of his children the whole story and they are so understanding! It will make the farewell easier for him. It is cute they will accompany him to the Havens!

I can't wait for the next chapter! You are a great storyteller.
And BTW, I just noticed your author's note in chapter 11, I believe, and I'd like to see the Glorfindel/Erestor story. It'd be nice to see more of them in your series. :)
