This story was so beautiful and touching that I just had to leave a review! Poor Erestor and Glorfindel! They really are my favorite pairing, and this is one of my absolute favorite stories about them! Thank you for writing it.

I've read to this point, liking the story and appreciating your writing it, so I figured it was time to say so! Good stuff. I haven't yet read any ficitons with Ecthelion, so I'm glad to get a sense of him too.

I copyedit for a living, so I keep wanting to go in and fix those hiccups of this site. What causes them? I've seen them only here on the adult fan ficiton site. Is it possible to repost? If so, I'd be glad to go through your story and iron out those manglings.

I read this story all in one sitting. I got to bed at 7 am this morning. OMG this was incredible!! This ranks right up there with one of my all time favorite Glorfindel and Erestor stories. I have read many of them incliding Morgana's and Mistress Rats. You have taken a much used pairing and given it a fresh new angle. I adored the characterizations and descriptions. Erestor had a facinating background and I bawled like a baby when Glorfindel died. To have them so close to bonding...right before the fall of Gondolin..I am still teary eyed. The depths of madness and despair that Erestor suffered was very realistically portrayed as well as the flashes of rememberance as Erestor remembered Glorfindel were so sadly poignent. Then Fin is brought back to find Erestor only to have him be rejected. I want to go and read it all again. Your talent as a fic writer is a joy to behold and I plan on reading all your fics. The ending to this was so very sweet and touching it made me cry again. For a story to touch me like that is the greatest compliment I can give.

Don't tell me that was the last chapter? I hope not! Too bad for Glorfindel tho, I mean waiting for something for almost a millenia and the it it finally happens you cant be sure if its real or no....Please update soon!
