This was so very hearbreakingly sad. It was wonderfullly written though I needed many tissues. I love the story as written, so poignently sorrowful and full of recriminations. (oh there go the waterworks again). The greatest praise that I can offer is that you moved me to tears.

I did read the alternative ending and while I admit the happiness at the end of it made me extremely happy the first ending had much more impact on my emotions. The fear that Ell and Ro's love would make them unaccepted in Valinor by their nana was a wonderful premise. The song a perfect touch.
