An Excellent and Beautiful story Etharei! You stay so close to cannon where others have strayed so far. While AU's are nice, it delightful to find something that fits within the narrative of the Lord of the Rings again- a nice Missing Scene type of story that is not A/L for once. Beautiful language, lovely sense of impending disaster and demise driving the character's actions. Gorgeous!
