Oh, that was sweeter than I expected... and very well written :)

I'm more for elves than men or hobbits, but I really enjoyed this. The starting exposition fits so well, because I can imagine it would be dangerous, and that the men who spend their lives as rangers have been warned not to indulge. But that just makes it easier to accept what happens next, because were there are laws or taboos on love, you will always find people willing to dare them.
