Ch12

Legolas laid back on the bed,
and Glorfindel began to slowly kiss his neck. The prince closed his eyes and
tried to relax but found that he kept thinking of that first night. Glorfindel
heard a slight whimper when his hand lightly grazed his mate�s thigh and
stopped.

The seneschal looked up and his
heart sank as he watched his young mates face scrunch nervously �Aye Legolas,
perhaps we should not do this now�it has only been three weeks, I do not
believe you are ready� Legolas opened his eyes �But I�I want this to
work�perhaps if�� Nay Legolas, I refuse to harm you again. I think I have done
enough damage�

Glorfindel got up from the bed
and Legolas whispered �Do not fade on me�we can make this work, I guess I just
need more time� The seneschal looked back in shock �Fade on you? I was
concerned about you fading on me� Legolas sat up and sighed, �Well�from
our bond, I can feel your melancholy�I am concerned�

Glorfindel shook his head �I
have seen and been thru enough in my long life that I know I will not fade
Legolas�my concern is for you� The prince crossed his arms, arched his brow,
narrowed his eyes and mumbled defiantly �Me fade? I will not
fade�no one can make me fade�huh!�

The seneschal held up his hands
and lightly chuckled �Alright now alright�calm down�I get the point, you will
not fade� The golden warrior then sighed �Would you like to go for a walk?
There is a nice strawberry patch close by� Legolas scooted off the bed and
grabbed his leggings �Ooo nai, I like strawberries very much� �I know, I
had it planted for you�this was all suppose to go quite differently Legolas�

Elrond sat in his study, then
heard a knock �Enter�ah Thranduil, saes havo dad� The Mirkwood king sat and
accepted the wine Elrond offered him �Hannon le�so what did I do this time�
Elrond chuckled �Nothing, I am just pleased to see Erestor well and actually
happy for once. I now see that you were truthful about your love for him�

Elrond then slowly took a sip
of his wine �Thranduil�has Erestor told you about his�err�family?� The Mirkwood
king sighed, �Nai, he told me about what his Adar did to him� �I see�and did he
tell you how he came to live here in Rivendel?� Thranduil shook his head �Nay�

The half-elven lord nodded �You
may wish to learn about that� Thranduil sat tall and took a deep breath
�Elrond, being Erestor�s lord and employer, I know I need to come to you
for�well, if Erestor accepts my proposal for a bonding�� Elrond held up his
hand �It is not I you need to be speaking with�

Thranduil furrowed his brow
�But you are the lord of this land, he is employed by you and�� Elrond shook
his head �Daro Thranduil, go and speak with Erestor about how he came to live
here�then you will understand� The king sighed, then stood and nodded �Very
well Elrond�good day to you�

The Mirkwood king went straight
for the library and just stood in the doorway for a few and watched his love
scribble away. Erestor suddenly looked up and smiled �Fair afternoon
Thranduil�what brings you here?� The king arched his brow �You�I am about to
snatch you from your work and take you on a picnic�

Erestor smiled and arched his
brow �Oh you are, are you?� �Nai, so put down your quill and be prepared to be
fed� The advisor lightly chuckled and joined the king �Where are we going to
eat� Thranduil smiled kindly �Honestly? I have not thought that far ahead�know
of any nice spots?�

The advisor nodded �Ai, there
is a nice willow that I like to read under, it would be perfect� Thranduil
bowed and swept his arm out �Then let us to the kitchens and retrieve a basket�
The king then lightly stroked Erestor�s cheek and smiled �And then you shall
lead the way�
