Ch15

Thranduil laid back on the
blanket and mulled over in his head what had just happened. The king then
turned his gaze and groaned when he saw the twins slowly approaching �Urgh�wonderful,
the protective peredhil�s� Elladan and Elrohir arched their brows and
stated as one �May we join you king Thranduil?�

The king sat back up and
motioned for them to sit �Saes, havo dad� Elladan sighed as he sat �We just ran
into Erestor. He was weeping and this upsets us� Thranduil nodded �I apologize
for causing him tears boys truly, I�I just�� Elrohir smiled �You just want to
take him back to Mirkwood with you�correct?�

Thranduil nodded and conveyed
their conversation. The twins sighed and Elladan tilted his head �Nai my lord, you
must ask us for his release, we are his masters� Thranduil shook his head �But
how�� Elrohir held up his had �Naneth was in Bree to perches some things, and
came across him. A farmer was selling him. The adans family could no longer
care for one such as him and�well, Erestor had been in that family�s service
for three generations�

Elladan sighed �Due to elven
strength, they had been using him as labor�Naneth did not have enough to pay
for him, so lord Glorfindel helped. They brought him home and�well, Naneth made
him our tutor� Elrohir leaned forward �When we reached our majority, Glorfindel
suggested that since Erestor was such a knowledgeable elf, that he would make a
fine advisor�

Elladan smiled warmly �Adar
agreed, and Erestor became his chief advisor�it was not long after that, that
our Naneth�that she was�� Elladan took a deep breath and Thranduil placed his
hand on the elder twins knee �Go on Elladan, you need not speak of it, I know
what happened, Legolas�s Naneth shared the same fate�

Elladan nodded �Glorfindel was
stomping around for days�he kept mumbling that he would not be someone�s master
and mumbling about his Adar and such�he never elaborated on this, but one day,
he stormed into the halls of fire with Erestor in tow, and declared the passage
of ownership�

Elrohir sighed �We were quite
shocked to say the least, when he declared us as Erestor�s new masters,
since Naneth had found him in the first place, Glorfindel thought it only right
that we receive him� Thranduil shook his head and looked at the twins
pleadingly �I love him�

Elrohir smiled �We know that,
it is plainly visible� Elladan crossed his arms �You wish to bond with our shy
one and take him away though� Thranduil sat tall �If he would have me, nai. I�I
would even�compensate you for the loss of him, I have many advisors and��

Elladan held up his hand �Daro
my lord. We will release our shy one�but on a few conditions� Thranduil arched
his brow and Elrohir turned �Elladan, Adar is not going to like loosing him�
Elladan rolled his eyes and sighed �Tis not up to Adar, tis up to Erestor and
us�

Elladan turned back to the king
�If Erestor accepts you, you must agree to our terms� The king nodded
�And they are?� The elder twin leaned forward �That you bring him back to visit
when there are gatherings and festivals� Elrohir nodded �And anytime you come
for court�

Thranduil smiled �If he accepts
me�Done! I will also want to be visiting other then those times due to Legolas,
and I would bring him then as well� The twins smiled and nodded �Done� �Done�

The twins went straight to
their chamber and found Erestor sitting by the fire. The advisor stood and
lowered his head �Masters?� Elladan reached out and caressed his cheek as
Elrohir caressed his hair �Do you�� Love him?� The advisor sighed and nodded
�Nai, I do�

Elladan smiled warmly �We spoke
with him, he wants you as his mate� Elrohir tilted his head �Would you choose
him?� Erestor looked up and shyly nodded �Nai�I would� The twins stood tall and
stated as one �Then we release you, go to your mate�

Erestor blinked in shock �You��
Elladan lightly chuckled �We release you, now�� Go to your mate and remain
happy� Erestor smiled thru his tears, and then bowed respectfully �Hannon
le�you have both been�been so very kind to me� then quickly left the room.

The twins stood silent for a
moment, and then Elladan sighed �I am going to miss our shy one� �Nai brother,
me to. But at least he is happy� Elladan took his brothers hand and kissed it
�We should go and tell Adar� Elrohir nodded and sighed �Nai�.
