*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Elrond sat down on the chair, beside the bed his sons lay upon and he smiled at the two sleeping figures. Elladan's fever went surprisingly down after he gave him some healing tea, and Elrohir's tiredness finally got to him, and he surrounded to the peaceful sleep. He watched over his children, and he searched their features finding some of the differences on those identical faces. Elladan was always adventurous one but his younger son Elrohir possessed the calm nature. It was always like that with them but now he could clearly see how much their faces showed that small peace, when they were into each other's arms. He had once felt that peace when his twin was alive, but after Elros's death he never felt it again. That peace was something he had cherished all those years ago, because having the understanding brother by your side was calming thought for the ones soul.
Elrond knew that he would allow his children's love to go beyond any rules, and he wanted to make them happy if that was their wish to be together in that way. He had figured out in that dream he shared with twins how much they completed one another in some ways. They were inseparable souls, and to separate one of them would be to loose them both.
Elrond heard some commotion in the yard behind the healing house and he stood up, peeking through the window to see what was amiss. He saw around fifteen horses and their masters wore Lothlorien markings. He wondered if Galadriel sent him some message and he decided to find out what was the point of this unexpected visit from Lothlorien. Elrond left his sons and on the way out he ordered the servant to watch over them and to fetch them anything they needed when they wake up.
Elladan was the first one who's eyes came to awareness when his father closed the door behind him. The noise disturbed his dream and he woke up, scanning his surroundings very quickly. He noticed that his fever was gone and he sighed as he untangled himself from his brothers sleeping body. He looked at Elrohir and his sleeping eyes and he smiled at his younger brother, thanking Valar he had someone so close to comfort him during this trying times. Elrohir woke up too after he felt someone moving form him and he stretched his body, feeling that the tiredness he had felt before had left hnd hnd he felt more refreshed. He turned to his twins side and he gave him a smile, as he sat up facing the other elf.
"Elladan, you are awake." Elrohir wondered when his brother woke up and he was glad to see that Elladan's fever was gone. He could see that his brother looked better and he suddenly leaped and caught his brother in strong embrace. Elladan's surprise was great as he found himself so suddenly in his brother's arms and he returned that embrace. He inhaled the scent of his brother's hair and he remembered that he had smelled that scent before. So many times before but none of those scents he had remembered well until that night he accidentally made love to Elrohir, mistaking him for Valandil. Elrohir raised his head to Elladan's level and he saw pink lips in front of him, slightly dried from fever, but he made a move to kiss them, letting the desires get hold of him, wanting more of the closeness they shared that intimate few night's ago,.
Elladan was shocked as he found the other lips exploring his in a gentle kiss without any demands, just a simple kiss given with love. But he wasn't ready to admit he had secretly seeking this kind of the attention from his brother, but confused he was still, because Valandil's death had brought him only the fear. Fear of love he would have felt and the fear that he would be insecure to admit that feeling, if by any case he came to love his brother. After all he didn't love Valandil enough and his heart didn't take fading turn. He was afraid his brother would expect something more from their intimate bond, and he wasn't ready to submit to that yet.
He pushed Elrohir away so suddenly and he met sad gaze his brother had given him, that he regretted doing it so rashly. He wanted to tell his brother he wanted to move slowly, but the words didn't come out and he only stared at his brothers beautiful eyes.
"It is Valandil. You still can't let that damn elf go. Why do you seek comfort from me when you still want death to take you away from me? You cannot go. You promised me you would try to forget his death. Why are you lying to me?" Elrohir started sobbing and Elladan knew he had somehow managed to provoke the hurt in his twin.
"Elrohir, I do not want to fade. I will stay with you forever, I promise. But first thing I need to do is to think. I am confused, gwador and I need that time to straighten everything that is happening to me right now. I didn't break our kiss because I am still thinking of Valandil. I broke our kiss because...because Elrohir, I do not want to hurt you." Elladan said with sincerity in his voice and he stroked his brothers black hair, as those eyes became softer and Elrohir sighed.
"But Elladan. I told you before that I loved you, and I still do. I will be there for you, gwador and I will help you resolve your problems. I want to know for sure that you are not thinking about following Valandil to death." Elrohir crossed his arms as his stubborn tone came out as he pressured his brother to give him some answers.
"Elrohir, I promised you this before and you are fool not to trust my judgment. I think I shall leave this room and I'll let you cool off for a bit.I cannot take this now brother. I asked you for comfort not for your pestering questions."
"Brother you will not move from this bed. As matter of fact I shall leave you to your agony brother so you can make most of it with your late Valandil. Grrr" Elrohir growled and he leapt from the bed giving his brother an angry gaze.
"No, I said I will leave first and my word is final. Stay here, I need to get some fresh air anyway, brother." Elladan tried standing up but the dizziness brought him back down to the bed. Elrohir saw that Elladan brought his hand to his head and he wondered what was wrong. His brother didn't have fever, he was sure of that, and Elrohir curiously moved to sit beside Elladan.
"Elladan are you all right. What is wrong?" Elrohir asked with fear in his voice and Elladan slumped down to the bed, not wanting to deal with his twin right now.
"Yes, I was just a little dizzy. The dizziness had passed, brother. Do not worry." Elladan eyed his twin as Elrohir joined him in bed.
"Elladan, I am sorry. I will try not to bother you with any more questions, but I am afraid I might loose you. I don't want to live alone, and if something happened to you I would die too."
"Elrohir, quit talking about the death. I do not wto tto think right now. What does it take for you to be quiet." Elladan asked his twin out loud and Elrohir giggled, rolling his eyes in mocked annoyance.
"Hmmm.. I have idea. Maybe this will shut your mouth, brother, because after all you are desiring it every time you see me." Elladan teasingly said and Elrohir wondered what his twin was talking about.
"What?" Elrohir asked.
"This." Elladan lowered his lips to his twins and he possessed them in deep kiss, knocking the last breath from his twin. Both identical faces glowed as that kiss deepened and all their previous fights lay forgotten and they were pushed away from their occupied minds. After all the comfort is about sharing your soul with the other being, not about bitter fights and misunderstandings.

"Calaglin, Hour called for his healer who was nowhere to be found. He wanted to get some water from the table, but he couldn't move because his wound was aching. Finally healer had some mercy on him and he showed up, rushing quickly inside, after he heard his patient's call.
"How nice for you to show up. Where were you?" Huor questioned with annoying voice and Calaglin raised his brow as he silently shook his head.
"I was helping in a delivery, your highness. Human woman was delivering her baby and they needed my assistance in the healing room." Calaglin said with slightly irritating tone and he wondered why the other elf had called him so rudely.
"Oh, how nice. Fetch me some water, Calaglin. My throat is so dry." Calaglin did as he was ordered and he gritted his teeth in anger as he heard that familiar ordering tone coming from Huor.
After he drank some water Hour questioningly gazed at the healer, and he cocked his head as the words came out of his mouth.
"Calaglin, can you do me a favor." Huor carefully asked the healer careful not to provoke any piled up anger that was inside of the healer at that moment. He knew he was a tough patient but he would apologize for any inconvenience he caused when he finally would be dismissed from the healing quarters.
"Depends on the favor, Huor." Calaglin answered and he wondered what kind of favor would Huor request of him. He hoped that favor didn't have to do with any perversions Huor was involved in.
"Can you find out for me when Semar should be back from borders, and can you deliver this note to his room. This note is of personal nature and I would appreciate it if you would not read this." Huor softly asked healer for a favor and the other elf just nodded with his head. The wicked smile radiated from the healers lips and he took the note from Huor's hands.
"I will find out when Semar should be back and I will deliver this note for you. Anything else you want to bother me with." Calaglin arched his brow and Huor chuckled at the last sentence he heard from healers lips.
"Nothing comes to my mind right now, but do not worry I will think of something. I thank you for doing this for me, Calaglin. It is so hard being stuck in this bed and I really appreciate your assistance, Calaglin."
"Yeah right." Calaglin rolled his eyes and he went through the door holding the note close to his eyes. He really wanted to read this but his mind told him not to. He decided that first thing he should do is to leave this note in the Semar's room, so it wouldn't tempt him anymore, and then to go and find out the schedule of border guards. He now knew that Huor indeed liked the young guard, otherwise he wouldn't bother finding out when he would be back. His only task was to observe and get those two fools together because he had enough of their fake insults and fights.
