Chapter 2
"There isn’t much he can do. Rivendell was closer so you were brought here.""I know but you know my father."
Aragorn nodded, he defiantly knew Lord Thranduil and it didn’t help that he liked Legolas too, and not just as friends.
"You like my brother don’t you?"
"What?" Aragorn said shocked.
"I can tell it is written all over your face."
"Yeah, maybe."
"You haven’t said anything to Legolas yet have you?"
"No, your brother would freak. Besides hasn’t your father really pushed it on you that loving a man is a sin."
Anteru had a romantic look on his face. "Yes but that doesn’t stop you from loving someone."
Aragorn saw the look on his face and smiled, "Well you definantly have the hots for someone, who?"
"I am not sure that it would go anywhere yet, but I am attracted to your father."
Neither one of then knew that Lord Elrond was standing just outside the door listening. He smiled when he heard Anteru say that he was attracted to him. That would make things somewhat easier. Lord Thranduil may prove to be a problem though. He gently knocked on the door.
"Come in." called Aragorn.
Elrond walked into the room and shut the door behind him.
"Thanks for the food. It was delicious."
"Your welcome." Said Elrond sitting on the edge of the bed. Everyone was silent for a few moments and then Aragorn picked up the now empty tray and silently left the room. He wanted to let his father and Anteru have some time alone together.
"You should get some rest." Said Elrond.
"Yeah."
There was a moment of silence between them and then Anteru lay down in the bed. Lord Elrond leaned over and gently kissed Anteru on the lips. He wasn’t going to force himself on the boy, he just wanted to see how he would react. He was surprised when Anteru put his hands on the back of his head to pull him closer. It was Elrond who finally broke the kiss.
Getting up and walking to the door, "Get some rest my love."
Anteru closed his eyes and listened to Elrond leave the room. Then he opened his eyes again and thought about what has just happened. Lord Elrond had kissed him and to top it off he had encouraged him to continue kissing him, despite his fathers teachings. On top of that Elrond had just called him love. Anteru closed his eyes and began to dream of Elrond.
Outside
Elrond was walking toward his room when his son Aragorn stopped him, "You like him don’t you?"
Shocked, "What makes you say that?"
"Because you wouldn’t leave his side until he woke up and I saw you kiss him adar."
