chapter 2

Chapter 2 of 3

When Erestor awoke again, he was alone in the bed, and Glorfindel was bent over in front of the fireplace, stirring something in a small cooking pot with a long wooden spoon in one hand and holding his golden mane out of the fire with the other. “Glorfindel?” Erestor called softly. “What are you doing?”

“Making your breakfast, my love.”

Erestor didn’t answer and Glorfindel suddenly realized what he had just said. He slowly stood up and turned to face the bed. Erestor’s face bore a shocked look. He placed the spoon on the table and went to the bed to kneel beside it. Taking Erestor’s hands into his own, he said, “Forgive me, Erestor. I did not mean to tell you like that. I have been thinking of you as my love, you see, and it just came out. I love you, Erestor. I am sorry it took me so long to see. Can you forgive this foolish elf, my love? Will you let me love you and love me in return, forever?”

Erestor nodded and tears began to run down his face. He must still be dreaming. This could not be real. He would wake and find once again that it was all a dream, like he had hundreds of times before.

Glorfindel wrapped his arms around Erestor. “Do not cry, my love.” He softly kissed the tears away. “Please, do not cry. I love you, sweetheart.”

“Dream…”

“No, my love. No dream. You are awake and I am real.” He kissed Erestor’s lips gently. “Did that feel like a dream? Or this?” Lowering his head, he captured Erestor’s mouth with his own, running his tongue over the sweet lips.

Erestor moaned and wound his arms around the golden elf as his tongue sought Glorfindel’s and lured it into his mouth.

Glorfindel moaned in answer as he deepened the kiss. Their tongues fought for dominance and his body was telling him just how good kissing Erestor was. How had he not seen this love just waiting for him for so long? Ending the kiss to breathe, he cradled Erestor’s head on his shoulder.

Erestor raised his head to look into Glorfindel’s eyes. “Truly? You love me?”

“I love you, Erestor, so very much.”

Erestor threw his arms around Glorfindel’s neck. “Glorfindel…I love you, I love you, I love you!” he cried, covering the beloved face with little butterfly kisses.

Glorfindel chuckled before kissing Erestor deeply once again. “My love, my toes are curling and there is a part of me which is growing very…well, just growing.” He grinned. “There is nothing I would rather do than stay here and kiss you. But we must get you well first. Let me get your breakfast, all right?”

Before Erestor could answer, they were interrupted by a snort coming from the door to the stable. They watched as a large black head came into view. “Durion! Did you come to see me, my friend?” The horse calmly walked over the bed and nuzzled his nose gently into Erestor’s chest. “I am well now, my friend,” Erestor said stroking the horse’s head. “You had better go back to the stable now. Asfaloth will be cold without you.”

After huffing in Erestor’s hair, Durion headed back to the stable. The two elves looked at each other and grinned. “I see I am not the only one who loves you, sweetheart,” Glorfindel said. “I found some dried apples yesterday that I will take to them after breakfast. Are you hungry?”

Erestor nodded. “Very. But can we go to the privy first?”

When they had finished in the privy, Glorfindel carried Erestor back, settled him back in bed and helped him wash his hands and face before bringing two bowls of porridge and fruit over.

“However did you make this?” Erestor exclaimed when he saw his breakfast. “It looks wonderful.”

“This cabin is well stocked. There is plenty to last us as long as we have to stay here. I will have to be sure and compliment whoever supplied it when we return home.”

After breakfast, Glorfindel washed the bowls they had used, refilled the large pot with snow for water, and took the dried apples to the horses. Then he sat down next to Erestor and pulled him into his arms for some serious kissing and cuddling. “I think I am going to enjoy our stay here, my love, now that you are better. Your leg should be better in another day or two, and if the storm stops we can go home. Until then, I intend to enjoy every moment that I have you all to myself.” He caressed Erestor’s face, gently running a hand over the smooth cheek. “You are so beautiful, my love. So very beautiful. I love you so very much.”

“I love you, Glorfindel. I love you,” Erestor said softly, as he captured the warrior’s mouth with his own, his tongue thrusting deeply into Glorfindel’s sweetness. When he broke the kiss, he cupped the warrior’s face in his hands and looked into the blue eyes he so loved. “I have waited for you for so long, beloved. I have loved you for so long. I still cannot believe this is real,” he whispered.

Glorfindel turned his head to kiss the palm of a hand that held him. “It is real, my love. I was so very foolish. I thought…I thought you just wanted my friendship, and so I buried my feelings for you. So much time I wasted. Forgive me for hurting you, my darling. I am so sorry I caused you pain.”

Erestor shook his head. “Oh, my love, there is nothing for me to forgive. If I had been braver, I would have let you know my feelings.” He kissed Glorfindel’s soft lips. “For all these years, you have been my dearest friend, and they have been wonderful years, my love.” He wrapped his arms around the elf he had always loved and rested his head on the strong shoulder. “Tell me what changed, my love? How did you know you loved me?”

Glorfindel nodded. “When we finally got here, you were unconscious and burning with fever. I was so scared I would lose you, Erestor. I cleaned and stitched your wound, but you would not wake. I had to get the tea into you, so I woke you enough to get you to drink some. I sat and watched you and thought of how dear you were to me. How I could not imagine my life without you. You were delirious, and started asking why someone did not love you. You said you loved someone, and…it hurt…really, physically hurt… thinking you loved someone else and I would lose you.” Glorfindel kissed Erestor’s brow, and caressed the head on his shoulder. “But then I knew I wanted you to be happy, and I wanted to find out who it was so I could help you. I asked you who it was you loved, and you said my name. I asked you again, and you said you loved me…and asked why I could not see that you loved me.” Tears had started to pool in Glorfindel’s eyes, and run down his face. “And I knew,” he whispered, his voice growing raspy. “I knew I had always loved you. I was a blind fool, my love. A blind fool.” He lifted Erestor’s lips to his own and whispered against them, “I love you,” before kissing him with all the passion he held in his heart.

Erestor was breathless when the kiss finally ended. He looked deeply into the blue eyes, panting, before pulling Glorfindel to him again and ravishing his soft lips. Their tongues dueled and hands groped, clutching and stroking soft skin. And then Glorfindel’s mouth was on his neck, licking and sucking, and Erestor knew he had never felt anything like it before. “Oh, Glorfindel…oh…what are you doing to me?” When the tip of his ear was sucked into a warm mouth, he whimpered in pleasure. “Oh, Glor…fin…del. Please.” Erestor had no idea what he was asking for, he only knew he wanted more. “Please…”

Erestor was driving Glorfindel wild. He wanted to taste every inch of this beautiful elf. He laid Erestor down on the bed and kissed him deeply once more, before moving down to lap at a rosy nipple. When he sucked it into his mouth, Erestor wailed and writhed beneath him.

“Oh…Oh…Glorfindel!” Erestor cried out. “Touch me…please…touch me!”

Glorfindel wrapped a hand around Erestor’s hard member and stroked, using his body to keep the wounded thigh immobile, as he continued to nibble and suck hard on the nipple.

Erestor wailed, incapable of anything other than feeling. “Oh…can’t…going…to...”

Glorfindel lifted his head and whispered huskily, “Come for me, baby, let it go,” as he stroked the beautiful cock in his hand, feeling Erestor tense.

Erestor screamed as his seed erupted over his lover’s hand. Glorfindel had never seen anything so beautiful as Erestor screaming in ecstasy, and his own orgasm was ripped from him at the sight. Groaning, he moved up to cover Erestor’s beautiful face in kisses, whispering, “ I love you…love you…love you.”

“Oh…Glorfindel…that was…wonderful,” Erestor panted. He pulled Glorfindel’s mouth to his own for another kiss.

Glorfindel collapsed next to Erestor, pulling him into his arms as the two tried to regain their breaths.

“It is highly unfair that you are still clothed, my love,” Erestor said when he could breathe again. “After all, you have more than seen me these past days, and I have yet too see you”

Glorfindel chuckled as he reached for the cloth he had used for washing to gently clean Erestor and wipe his hand. “You will get to see me soon, my darling one. I need to change my leggings.”

Erestor cocked his head and turned towards Glorfindel. “Why?”

Glorfindel grinned, a little embarrassed at his lack of control. Caressing Erestor’s face, he whispered, “When you screamed and came in my hand, you were so beautiful. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen…you came at my hand…and it made me come, too.”

“Oh, my love.”

“It was not the way I imagined our first lovemaking to be, but it was wonderful. I love you so much.” He kissed Erestor sweetly. “My darling, will you bind with me? Will you be with me forever? Please say you will marry me, Erestor.”

Erestor grabbed Glorfindel and kissed him passionately, tears streaming from his eyes. “Oh, my love, I will bind with you and be yours forever. I will be your husband and I will love you forever,” he whispered against the soft lips.

“Oh, Erestor, I love you so very much. Will you bind with me here, when you are healed? I cannot wait to call you mine.”

“I will my love. I cannot wait until you are mine and I am yours, forever.”

Glorfindel kissed Erestor deeply, then said. “I really must change, beloved. These leggings are most uncomfortable. And I want to try my hand at making little cakes for you,” he smiled. “Rest now, while I work on our next meals, all right?”

“Yes, my love, but after I watch you change clothes.” Erestor grinned.

Glorfindel rose and went to the table for fresh leggings and tunic. He returned to the bed and laid the clean clothing on it. Smirking at Erestor, he stood next to the bed and slowly pulled his tunic off and tossed it aside. His beloved’s eyes were focused on his body as he untied his leggings and slowly pushed them down. All the kissing had left him hard again, and his penis stood proudly against his abdomen.

“Oh…Glorfindel.” Erestor swallowed. “You are…magnificent, my love. Oh come to me, my beautiful one.” He held out his arms.

Glorfindel sat down next to Erestor, then leaned over and kissed him as arms wrapped around his neck.

Erestor broke the kiss and ran his hands over Glorfindel’s chest, before lightly touching the hard member. “So beautiful. Sweet Elbereth, my love, you make me hard again just looking at you.” He ran his hands over the muscular chest again. “Oh, I want you.”

“Soon, love. When you are healed. Erestor, my darling one, I want you as well, but we must wait. It would pull the stitches out, and I will not hurt you.” Glorfindel said softly. “You must rest, my love.” He grinned. “And if you are a good little elf and sleep for a while, I promise to make you a lovely meal.” He leaned over and kissed Erestor on the tip of his nose.

“And if I am very good, will you let me touch you later and bring you pleasure, my love?” Erestor said coyly.

Glorfindel chuckled and lowered his head into Erestor’s shoulder. “Oh, Valar, Erestor, you are a tempter.” He gave his beloved one last kiss, then stood up and dressed.

While Erestor slept, Glorfindel brought out the grains and honey from the cupboard and managed to mix up dough for little griddlecakes. He cooked a trial one over the fire, then left it to cool in the pan while he added more dried meat and vegetables to the soup, along with some spices. He took the griddlecake out of the pan and dribbled some honey on it, looking at it speculatively. Finally he opened his mouth and took a bite. Slowly his lips curved into a smile. Silently congratulating himself, he started cooking enough of the cakes for their lunch.

~~~*~~~
It was past time that they should have eaten, and Erestor still slept. Finally deciding that his love really needed to eat to regain his strength, he sat down on the side of the bed, leaned over, and kissed Erestor’s sweet lips. “Wake, my love.” The dark eyes finally focused, and Erestor smiled up at Glorfindel. “How are you feeling, my darling. Is your leg hurting you?”
“Just a little. Is it time for lunch already?”
“Past time, beloved. You needed the sleep. Do you want to go to the privy first?”
Erestor nodded, and wrapped his arms around Glorfindel’s neck as the warrior lifted him to carry him down the short hall. “You are spoiling me, my love.”
“Hmmm…I like spoiling you. I’m just glad you are not as heavy as I am.”
Erestor laughed. “Lucky for me I fell in love with a great wooly mammoth of a warrior.”
“Wooly? Wooly? Who says I’m wooly?”
Glorfindel gently set him down on his feet in front of the privy, and Erestor turned around in his arms, placing his brow on the warrior’s and rubbing his nose with his own. “I say you are wooly. My very own warm, wooly, warrior,” he whispered.
Glorfindel chuckled. “Well, that’s all right then. You may call me a wooly warrior.” He gave Erestor a kiss. “Now, my love, are you ready to do what we came in here for? It’s cold in here and I don’t want my tiny little councilor to get a chill.”
“Tiny? Tiny! I am just as tall as you are. Who says I am tiny?”
“I do. You are my very own tiny little baby councilor.”
Erestor grinned. “Well, that is all right them. You may call me tiny. And you may especially call me baby,” he said, as he turned in Glorfindel’s arms to do what they had come in there for.
During their lunch, Erestor raved about the griddlecakes, the soup, and the tea, telling Glorfindel how good everything was again and again.
Glorfindel practically blushed with the complements. “I am glad you like everything, my love. There are a lot of supplies, but mostly the same thing, so I fear our meals will all be the same.”
“Just as long as you remember how you made these griddlecakes. They are wonderful. I could eat them for a week straight!”
“If this storm does not stop you may have to, my love. It’s been three days now. The snow is even piling up in front of the stable door. We may have to dig our way out of here when it finally stops. It’s a good thing there was a lot of wood stored for the fire, or the horses and we would freeze. I have thanked the Valar daily for our good fortune to make it here and have what we needed to survive the storm.”
“Are they all right?” Erestor looked at the door that lead to the stable, suddenly worried for the horses.
“They are fine, love. I piled up hay in front of the door to keep the snow from coming in, and covered them with blankets. Some of the heat from here makes its way in. That’s why I left the door open. They have plenty of food and water, and I told them to come in here at night if it gets too cold.”
“Good.” Erestor smiled. “Thank you, my love.”
After lunch, Glorfindel bathed Erestor as much as he could with warm water and a cloth, then bundled him up in blankets to sleep again. He made more of the dough for the griddlecakes, added to the soup pot and brushed the horses. When he was done, he stripped and stood in front of the fire and washed himself, then put on his last clean tunic and leggings. He did not want to use the clothing stored in the cabin unless he had to, preferring to leave it for the use of the patrols. He decided he had better do something about his dirty clothes, or resign himself to wearing them. He pulled a large tub into the cabin that he had found in the stable, and emptied the water left in the large pot into it. Which of course meant he had to go back outside for more snow. He would have to make do with barely enough water to cover the clothes, or he wouldn’t be able to lift the tub to empty it. But how would he rinse the clothing if he used soap to wash his clothes?
He scrounged around the stable and came up with two wooden buckets that would work just fine. He could keep the tub with soapy water for washing other things, like dirty dishes, and use the buckets for rinse water. Pleased with his find, he once again moved the hay and cracked open the door to fill the buckets with snow. He made several trips, filling every pot he could find in the cabin that he did not need for cooking, so they would have plenty of water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. He added the clothes to the tub, along with a little soap, and left them to soak while he started making the griddlecakes for their dinner. As he cooked their meal, he realized that if Erestor were well, he would actually be enjoying himself.
