Shana: *upset*
Glorfindel: What's wrong?
Shana: *points at chapter* Someone accused me of stealing ideas!!!!
Glorfindel: *blinks* Well, did you?
Shana: They posted what was apparently a clip from the story they claim I stole from. I didn't recognize it. I would REMEMBER something out there like that!
Glorfindel: Ok ok.
Shana: *crying*
Glorfindel: Do you know who this other author is?
Shana: *hysterical* No idea. All I can figure is "great minds think alike" because I've never read a fic where this happened before!
Glorfindel: Ok, calm down. Clearly the reviewer was mistaken. It's not unusual for two people to come up with the same idea.
Tal: I can vouch for her honesty, after all we did co-author this.
Shana: *sniff* Thanks.
Tal: Shanastay and I own nothing and no one and did NOT steal ideas from someone else.
Chapter 4: Surprise
The light had almost fled Haldir's eyes when he felt Shar's body surge in his arms, her lungs filling with air. He took a matching breath and drew his head back to look into Shar's clear hazel eyes. Relief flooded through him as he caught her smiling lips in a searing kiss, taking her new breath away.
Shar murmured softly when Haldir finally released her lips whispering, "My love. I love you, now and always." Haldir's eyes closed, joy filling him at the simple phrase.
Her face suddenly screwed up in annoyance as she seemed to remember something. She muttered something very unbecoming in dwarfish that clearly was NOT directed at the Marchwarden. Puzzled, he looked at her the question clear on his face.
Still clearly annoyed she explained. "Manwe, that bastard, laughed at me!" At Haldir's surprised expression she further elaborated. "Remember I told you about my suicide attempts when I was much younger, before we ever met?" At Haldir's concerned nod she continued, "Well, apparently your boy Manwe is who I saw then and just now." Haldir's brows were all the way to his hairline. "Bastard laughed and said if I intended to keep visiting him like this he'd have to set up a special wing in the Halls just for me."
The tension broken Haldir threw his head back and roared with laughter, thankful the Valar had apparently heard his silent plea. He looked back at Shar's now annoyed at him expression, still chuckling. He cut her off quickly with a finger against her lips. "No, it is not funny. I am simply glad you are still here with me."
Placated, Shar snuggled into his embrace. Shar's leg was still wrapped around his hip. The overwhelming need to be inside her washed over Haldir and he slid his semi-hard length between her still-slick folds. Shar sighed as he entered her and then pulled the covers up over their twined forms. Once again intimately connected the two quickly fell into a deep revere, the elf's eyes falling shut as they slept.
