Haldir
We organize our welcoming party of elves to go before our lords who are on their way home to Lorien as we rode to them we saw their party in front of them as shield we reorganized them and continue home Glorfindel and I escort them all the way Caras Galadhon where I asked to speak with them about my wedding,which Galadriel was more
then happy to approve saying that among all bad things that happened lately this will be one good she will let us to perform wedding ceremony in their great palace that guest honored me more then anything and as a gift for our wedding she and her husband give us Wedding Horse such a beautiful animal desert horse exquisite beauty that horse will carry bride to me...I took horse with me so Allassa could see him.....Grey stallion.With red silk on his back.
Allassa walked out of house and down, when she felt Haldir pulling on their bond and hear him shout for her, she stopped on last step, looking at beautiful animal before her.
Allassa:"It is... glorious horse." She walked rest of way to him, lifting hand and placing it on horse nose, petting him.
Haldir:"Your wedding horse gift from our masters you will come on ceremony on him my brother will lead him and you just have to look pretty and we have approval for marriage"
Allassa:"Good to know we were approved to take each other as husband and wife, Why I have feeling, that I didn't know what I got myself into for when I said yes to your proposal... ? It don't look too simple to me now."
Haldir:"Well maybe is my mistake I didn't told you all how it goes but since I don't have carriage and I have no time to make one now you will have only horse and horse shows power and wealth of groom but all else is simple and we will have wedding ceremony in Caras Galadhon palace in fourteen days so you better start writing that letters."
Allassa:"In fourteen days...." She looked at him shocked. "... but that.... is so soon. I am not sure I will be prepared for that that fast. I need Katsul.. like right now... I should go write her.. immediately..."
Haldir:"Then write. Glorfindel offered himself as messenger with two other elves to take all letters. I will take horse to stable just will you be so kind to take this red silk from his back and jewelry from his head and croup"
Allassa:"Yes..." She take jewelry and let it fall around her forearm and then slip silk blanket from its back, folding it and hold it against her chest watching him lead horse away. "What in Valar did I get myself into this time..." She whisper and walk back to house, letting things from horse on table and go to her room sitting beside table and start writing letter to her cousin.
Haldir led horse into stable putting him alone away from other horses and go back home to her.She look up from her writing, smiling at Haldir and then continue writing, there is three letter written before her already.
Allassa:"I just decided I should my friends let to know too.... I thought form my side I will have only Katsul and Tyngris there.. but I think Naire and his father should know... Draco, but he never come as I know him... and few others."
Haldir:"Of course write to everyone you want I should do the same" He look at her. "You are worried now. I can feel it so tell me what is wrong?" He crouched beside her.
She stopped writing carefully lie brush down and take her hair from her shoulders to back, leaning her head in her hands.
Allassa:"I just... this all... I know it is right thing to do, but I am still... nervous and unsure and I have absolutely no idea what to do.. I don't know how to marry someone. I was never prepared for it."
Haldir:"Just relax take a deep breath and try not to worry so much and don't panic ceremony will be just....well imagine it as a big party you saw my first wedding in Mirkwood you remember it better then I. I was drinking too much so some details I cant remember well."
Allassa:"Well I really didn't pay attention myself that time... blame Thranduil's wine and lack of interest in those things..." She sigh. "If I live through this, I will live throught everything."
Haldir:"You sound like that Barlog will wait you on ceremony not me" He touch her cheek to calm her down. "Just be yourself my brother will take care of horse and come to you when you dress and prepare your weeding dress is in your room and I will wait for you in Caras Galadhon high elven priest will unite us you just have to say yes" He stand up and kiss her hair.
Allassa:"I am not sure if I won't fight that Balrog better than to be married... fighting I know.. marrying not at all. You are lucky that I love you.." She takes brush and continue writing, calmer this time.
Haldir:"You're same as Glorfindel he would rather go to fight Barlog or Nazgul just to escape from marriage,but I told you nothing will change at least from my part" He leave her to take his quill paper and ink. "I forgot to bring one candle here" He go back for it and for and sealing wax he sit opposite of her and start with writing.
Allassa:"I will write to Locien, so you don't have to worry about that. And as alpha you need to write to Lycian. I think I have all I wanted.." She looks at letters thinking.
Haldir:"I will write to him and to others in shifter village and I will write to Aragorn and to Amrion you can seal letters with wax of my house or with green Lorien wax" He continue to write.
Allassa:"Thank you.."
She took Loriens wax and seal letters. "I will use your wax after I become your wife, now it would not feel right..." She makes pile of letters. "I will go look in kitchen for minute, I will be right back..." She walks away.He smile not looking at her writing letters.
Haldir:"As you wish my lady"
She walks back after some time, laying before him plate with big slice of berry pie.
Allassa:"After you are done you can eat this..." She place fork next to it, patting his hair.
Haldir:"Please you give me some this won't be done for a while and if I touch it someone will get pie invitation" As they speak Glorfindel got in trough window.
Glorfindel:"Are you done I need to go soon?"
Allassa:"We have doors you know. And hello to you too..." She looks at him, feeding Haldir pie. "I am done but my lord husband still need some time to write."
Glorfindel:"Then hurry up you lazy elf. I don't have all day and stop eating pie. Will you two call Mirkwood elves?"
Haldir:"Yes we will call all of them."
Allassa:"His idea, not mine... and stop harassing him, here have some pie, make aaaah.." She point fork with pie at his mouth.He open mouth and take some.
Glorfindel:"Mmmm its good well done" He chewed and swallowed. "About that I don't think that is a good idea"
Haldir:"Why? If I don't call that will look odd to others and we will look weak he will think that we are afraid of him to call and I can imagine his smirk and satisfied look."
Allassa:"I am not happy about it too Glorfindel, but Haldir and his high position among elves... I should be happy with small wedding, but I am marrying march warden of Lorien, so it will be big and glorious... and yes I am so afraid of it." She give another piece to Haldir to eat.
Glorfindel:"Haldir you sound like our Lady of light she have second toughs about inviting him,and kitten why you're afraid that will be just one day and after that you can run and hide from public life"
Allassa:"Now I can't do that, can I? That would cast bad light on my husband. And to thing about Mirkwood... woodland sprite can always just congratulate us through letter and say he is too busy to come, and send Legolas instead and he can stay in his palace on his throne and not let his butt from it.." She shrugs shoulders.
Glorfindel:"He to do that? He will do anything to came so he can provoke Haldir and Elrond with his charming personality,but I know how to bit him back and I will"
Allassa:"Do I want to know how do you plan to do that?" She looks at him and take bite from pie. "And he isn't so charming as he look."
Glorfindel:"I will dance with every elleth(woman) he like but didn't have chance to have and at the end I will dance with Celebrian to knock him down" Haldir fished last letter.
Haldir:"Alright that is all you will have a lot of work to deliver all this but first deliver her letter to Katsul she wants her earlier here to help her."
Allassa:"Well, your plan has one problem, golden smart ass,... it won't make only Thranduil jealous..." She take plat and fork and goes to kitchen to wash them. "Yeah, I need Katsul here to plan my escape before marriage...." She smirk.
Glorfindel:"Then if you run away I shall marry him and make you explode of jealousy, Elrond won't mind he know that I am loyal to him"
Haldir:"You're crazy take letters and go"
Allassa:"Well sorry to destroy your happiness with each other..." She says walking from kitchen to them. "And I wasn't speaking about Elrond.." She smile innocently at him.
Glorfindel:" Then I am afraid that I don't understand about whom youre speaking?"
Allassa:"Maybe about every elleth(woman) in Lorien, maybe not about them.... what do you know... its se-cre-t." She push him towards window. "Hurry up, you said you don't have time, so hush you be."
Glorfindel:"Alright I am gone you don't have to kick me out like dog" He move from her and turn at Haldir. "I will send you letter when we deliver all invitations"
Haldir:"Ok Glorfindel" Glorfindel got out trough window out.
Allassa:"Did you notice?" She looks through window. "He don't make touches until it is necessary and he even kissed me yesterday and today. I think we lost him. At least I lost him."
Haldir:"We didn't trust me he just need time" He go to her watching with her. "And how did you lost him?"
Allassa:"That I am marrying you. He has you as you two were without elleth(women).. and now? You saw his reaction yesterday. Even when we tell, that nothing is different.. he don't believe us. As I am stressing about it and always was." She looks at him. "I just thought that marriage means something. But now? I am not so sure."
He turn her at him.
Haldir:"Give him time as he wanted and now is late to cancel all but I promise that you will be happy with me like you always was except when we pick fight beside that you told me that you won't cancel marriage because of him."
Allassa:"I never had in my mind to canceling marriage between us. I love you and I want us be as we should, everything considering. And I definitely make my wolf obey and mate yours." She smile at him.
Haldir:"Then why you torture yourself with doubts ha? Do you want us to go outside on sun I can play harp for you?"
Allassa:"It is not about doubts... I can't express myself about it..." She shrugs shoulders. "And yes, I want to go out... we need to feed Lilith too, so I take her meat..." She rush back to kitchen.
Haldir:"You carry meat I will carry you" He took her up in his arms when she took bowl with meat.
Allassa:"Haldir!" She squels and hold on bowl so it isn't all over them. "Little warning would be appreciated before you do things like this.." She kisses his cheek.He smile at her carrying her out,he whistled for dog to come.
Allassa:"Hey girl.. no don't jump, I don't think I want to be sandwich between your master and you..." She gives bowl to ground when Haldir let her go, petting hounds back and side. "Her pregnancy is slightly showing on her.."
Haldir:"Slightly?! She is like balloon ready to fly off" He laugh at them.
Allassa:"She has another month to birth, imagine how she will look then... Don't listen to him beauty, he is just jealous of your good looking you know.. pregnant mothers are most beautiful at least that is what humans says.." She murmur to dog.He leave them and bring out harp from back of the tree where their house is placing it in shade of tree preparing to play.She sit next to eating Lilith, watching him.
Allassa:"It is too long till I last time try to play on harp. Some century and decades away."
Haldir:"I am not perfect. I know to play some elven songs not all of them so don't kill me if I start bad" He start to play some light song of moon light.
Allassa:"I am the last who could kill you... I don't know how to play at all.." She listen to his playing.
Haldir:"No it was not like this. I cant remember it but I know song of wild that would be better to play" He start to play that other with stronger tone and faster.
Allassa:"I like this one more, yes.." She lean on dog who lie down next to her licking muzzle.
Haldir:"It would sound better if someone sing but ...I can call Aurelia she is good singer."
Allassa:"If it will please you..." She shrugs her shoulders at him.
Haldir:"I ask because of you its all the same for me or you're afraid of her and her teaching?"
Allassa:"No, nothing like that. I already told her my story about things like this, so she know I didn't have elven teaching in too much things. But I remember some from my childhood, so I am not totally lost case..." She takes her legs to her chest hugging them and laying her head on knees. "I just... I am more used to clenching of swords and war drums than to nice elven music."
Haldir stopped playing and come to her and kneel looking for her eyes and lift her head up to kiss her.
Haldir:"I will go for her so you will hear elven songs not war drums."
Allassa:"But I like war drums." She narrow her eyes. "I like sound of meeting swords and sing of bows..."
Haldir:"War is bad thing don't you want peace in your life we can always cross swords and play."
Allassa:"Of course I want peace, you don't have speak to me like I am little elfling(child), I know that war is bad. I just like how it sounds."
Haldir look at her and smile.
Haldir:"I know that your not small"
She return his smile lightly.
Allassa:"Yes. I am not. I am short and delicate."
Haldir:"And mine you forgot to say that."
Allassa:"You said it for me, so why should I express myself more. And I say that in far better and interesting situations..." She smirk at him.
Haldir:"I told you. I am not good with words like you."
Allassa:"Yeah you are good at expressions and actions... I remember..."
He lay next to her.
Haldir:"So what you want to do you don't want music what will please you today?"
Allassa:"Dont know myself..." She curl herself more. "Haldir, it isn't so cold, it is?"
Haldir:"No why? Do you feel cold?"
Allassa:"Yes... I am really cold. Even when I feel warmness of sun, I am cold." She stretch her hand to his and lay on his forearm, it is cold. "Don't know why?"
Haldir:"Yes your hand is cold" He turn at her. "Let me look at you" He put one hand on her head and other on her neck where puls is.She lean to his touch, feeling warm from him.
Allassa:"Maybe it is just nerves and stress?"
Haldir:"You must relax your darkness is ready to explode from your stress and worry give me both of your hands"
Allassa:"I don't feel anything amiss from my darkness..." She uncurl herself, sitting normal and gives him her hands. "Do you think I started to loss control over me?"
Haldir:"No its not that it feels normal its just you worry too much and you're not human so your body show it in that way now I will send you some of my darkness as heat you will feel it like warming up ready?"
Allassa:"Is this safe? You should just use your darkness like that, what if it goes from control or you just lose control over it?"
Haldir:"That is why I never use my full power. I can help you if you want if you don't I can make you tea to warm you up."
She take her hands from his and stand up.
Allassa:"I can make tea myself, thank you.."
She walked toward kitchen caressing her arms in attempt to warm herself.He left her going to his room and come back without tunic only with blanket over his shoulders and hug her to warm her up.
Allassa:"Thank you..." She wait for water to boil and prepare herbal tea for her. "You want too?"
Haldir:"No I don't want it. I will sit on bed and you come and sit on me to warm you."
Allassa:"Just wait till I make tea and drink it... I put calming herbs into it, so it should help.."
Haldir:"I will wait don't worry I wont escape."
Allassa:"Very funny...." She water her tea and hold her hands on cup warming them on it.
He sit on bed and put his back against the wall.She sits by table in kitchen with tea before her, looking at her shaking hands.
Allassa:"What in Valar does this mean? What is happening to me?" She murmur silently.
Haldir:"Are you alright? come here I can feel your weakness again."
Allassa:"I am fine.." She calls to him, tucking hands in her lap. "Just waiting for tea to get little colder so I can drink it, I will be with you in minute..." She try to calm herself before he notice her rising panic.
He got up from bed going to her.
Haldir:"I can feel that something is wrong with you" He touch her hands looking at them.
Allassa:"If I knew what I would tell you." She hide her hands behind her back looking away from him. "I told you I will be with you in minute..."
Haldir:"Don't hide from me show me your hands and look at mine when that happens to you same happens to me you cant be sick this is something else."
Allassa:"Elves and maias aren't sick. Everyone knows that. Why should I show you my hands when same is happening with you, look at yours then..." She lift her hands to cup of tea holding it and focus on lifting it without shaking.
Haldir:"Why you are like this shut me out when something happens to you who will help you if not me? I just hate when you do that shut me out."
Allassa:"Don't forget what you want to say..." She abruptly stand up with one hand on her mouth and other on stomach and run to bathroom, where she goes down and vomit in closet, her body shake painfully.
He toss blanket and run for her kneel down and hold her head and move all her hair back.
Haldir:"Valar this looks like poison."
Allassa:"You read my mind." She says and lean over again, vomiting. "But I am immune to most of known poisons, because I drink antidotes frequently.." She bend over in cramp of her stomach and vomit.
Haldir:"Its poison I feel burning pain in belly I know what to give you to make your system clean someone put you something in food or in drink Valar that honey?! Rumil and his elleth(woman)...Stay here I will mix antidote, this is mix of human poisons."
Allassa:"You eat it too and you were good... Stay here, like I am in condition to go somewhere..." She curl herself on floor exhausted from spasm in her, holding her belly. "Why should someone try to poison me? What about that arrow I took for Elrond, I healed, but poison can be in my blood and reproduce itself more and start making toxins now?" She thinks. "But I am immune to all Mordor poisons"
Haldir:"I took only from your fingers and after that I didn't eat and poison on arrow would affect sooner" He came back giving her to drink. "It have awful taste but it will fight poison."
Allassa:"Now when you mention it, I was only one, who eaten that honey sauce.." She reach to him but her hands are too much shaking. "You need to feed it to me, I cant hold it without spilling... aaah..." She holds her belly and cry in pain. "Haldir it hurts... and I have feeling like I am on Caadhras in winter, it is so cold.."
He lift her up and give her to drink bit by bit she drink it all and he could feel all her pain in him when someone came in to house calling for Haldir it was Aurelia.
Haldir:"I am here" She run inside.
Aurelia:"Help me please its your brother he is sick its poison he ....he is like her white as death and weak"
Haldir:"Take that other full cup and take to him make him drink all to save him I can't leave her."
Allassa is shaking in Haldir's hold violently, biting her lips until it bleed so she wont scream and cry in agony, from her shut eyes flowing tears on her cheek and temples.
Allassa:"Co... co... still cold..."
Haldir:"It need time to work but it will he took part of wood bite this and prepare for more vomit when this start to work it will clean you up."
Allassa:"Make it stop..." She curl herself again, snapping for air to breathe. "I cant... I cant... Haldir.... breathing..." She turn from him and vomit again, nearly passing out, she just stay laying there shivering from exhaustion.
Haldir:"Its started now it will clean you" He took her on him taking her pain on so she wont feel it much he helped her breathe and she started to warm up.
Allassa:"Can you give me water?" She asks quietly. "I hate this taste in my mouth.." She drink and spit it to closet, leaning to his chest. "Who would do this and who they tried to kill?"
Haldir:"How you feel your heat is back,I will get to the bottom of this. I got this honey from village between Rohan and Edoras"
Allassa:"I am better... you should go to Rumil, I can feel how much you want to check on him... go to him.... I am better now."
He lift her up and put her on bed taking some of her cloth tossing it on her.
Haldir:"Hold that on you" Then he lift her back in his arms. "I can take care of both" He carry her to his brothers house. " Aurelia open up!" She open up and let him in with her in his arms. "Take me to his room"
Allassa:"I am going to be sick again Haldir..." She whisper to him with closed eyes gulping.
He take her into bathroom letting her to trow up.
Haldir:"Aurelia go and get me healer and tell her that she bring more elixir for getting out poison from body this is Hemlock poison from white plant and tell her that cleaning already began" She nod and run out then Rumil run into bathroom kneeling near Ally and trow up.
Allassa:"At least one of us can stand on legs..." She cough violently, leaning her side on wall. "Haldir, this poison... that was chosen for you, you are aware of that, aren't you?" She looks at him and then shoot to toilet again, vomiting.
Haldir:"That is very strong poison that is collecting from flower of plant it kills humans in few minutes it stops blood stream and if that don't kill you then trowing up will if you don't get antidote death comes in the form of paralysis, your mind is wide awake, but your body doesn’t respond and eventually the respiratory system shuts down. So you two have luck that I am obsessed with plants and exploring."
Allassa:"And unlucky to know you and going through this in your place.. ." She curl herself in ball again. "I will be more happy with knowing who and why did this that to go familiar with how I could be dead from it."
Haldir:"You both will be fine" He go to Rumil.
Rumil:"If you plan to do this on every dinner I wont come again" Aurelia came with healer Haldir let healer look at them.
Healer:"Perfect antidote work on both of them they will be safe but I will go my magic on them to speed this cleaning up."
Allassa:"No, I don't want to vomit anymore..." She groan. ".. I don't have strength for it..." But she let healer go his magic to her and lean over toilet again throwing up.
Healer:"She is done now you Rumil" She turns at him.Finally Orophin arrived and Aurelia told him everything.
Rumil:"Just kill me I don't feel anything anymore" Healer started to heal him.
Healer:"Now Rumil drink this more your muscles are started to fail down you got less antidote you need more" She give him more.
Allassa lay on floor with closed eyes, breathing shallow, but she feels warm again and her stomach stopped hurting, only some rest of spasm go through her body.
Healer:"Put in one room two beds and put them together warm water and massage Rumils whole body Allassa do your muscles hurt can you feel your legs and arms?"
Allassa:"I can feel them, but can't control them, I think like someone just took all my strength away...elf and maiars too. All I want is to stop hurting.. but it is in waves now, I am hurting only few seconds."
Healer :"Are the beds ready?"
Orophin:"Yes"
Healer:"Good Haldir carry her on one bed Orophin you carry Rumil on other you Aurelia give Haldir hot water and cloth he will massage them both with this" She give vial to Orophin and leave house.
Allassa let Haldir lift her in his arms, she lean her head on his shoulder but don't have strength to hold on his neck.
Allassa:"Can't you just slap me so I will go into unconsciousness and wake after I wont feel like total shit?"
Haldir:"No I can't do that" He put her down on bed taking off her cloth, Aurelia bring him water and he mix content of vial with it saving more for Rumil. "Aurelia go and take off all cloth from him so I can take care of him when I finish with her."
She lay without motion, her eyes closed and only slow rising of her chest signaling that she is still alive.
Allassa:"When all this is over..." She spoke quietly. ".. I want sample of this poison and I will drown it down neck those who did this.. so he can taste his own medicine."
Haldir:"Now I know that you feel better I will show you plant" He massage her quickly so he can help Rumil. "Cover her Aurelia. Now Rumil how you feel?"
Rumil:"Like shit!"
Haldir:"Using my future wife words? Good you two children should stick together we old can take that" He looks with smile at Aurelia,then massage him too.
Allassa:"Thank you Aurelia" She get weak smile at elleth and watch her mate working, trying to feel bond between them and weakly poke his darkness to show him she is better.
He poke her back not looking at her just working on Rumil who is in bad shape like her when he finished he called for Aurelia.
Haldir:"Cover him too I saw enough naked bodies for one day tell Orophin to bring me wine or he can make tea but something strong to knock my nerves down."
Allassa start panicking again.
Allassa:"You will abandon me here? Stay here, don't go anywhere! I don't want be alone!"
Haldir:"I won't go anywhere he will bring me here drink. I will stay with both of you whole night here. I am not crazy to leave you here with him naked" He make joke to calm her down. "I am jealous bastard remember?"
Allassa:"Mhmm.." She nods. "I remember yes." She then look at him. "Wait a moment, you think I would try something on your brother?"
Haldir:"It was joke just calm down.
Rumil:"You know when I get up you will get nice punch in face for this sick joke of yours, but thank you for help. I am going with you to find out who did this to us"
Haldir:"You two better get rest or I will knock you both down as Ally asked."
Allassa:"Still thinking it is best solution... I hate this when I can't command my own body.I feel weak like mortal baby I hate this."
Haldir:"Wine finally Orophin" He sit on floor between two beds with Aurelia next to him and start to drink. "Orophin I will be in room next to you call if you need something" He left.
She close her eyes, relaxing herself as more as she can so he wont feel anything bad and painfully from bond between them.
Haldir:"You both try to sleep and you too Aurelia. I will awake you later so I can sleep a little too. Go in bed to Rumil he is maybe sick but with your presence he will fall asleep faster" She did as he said.
Her mind start to shut down, falling to darkness, exhausted too as her body is.
Allassa:"Mate." She says before completely blacking out.
Haldir got up to her felling her exhausted darkness and body she black out he could feel her trough bond he had to wait till her body and mind regain strength again. Allassa is breathing normally and her pulse is good, she float in her darkness healing her inside slowly and letting her mind rest, her head turned to her shoulder and lips slightly opened so she can breath.He was there beside her drinking and waiting.When she regain consciousness after hour and half, she slowly turns her head to other side, her lids shivering as she tries to open them.
Allassa:"Hal... dir.." Her fingertips moves slightly.
He turn his head at her.
Haldir:"Yes how you feel?"
Allassa:"Like herd of mumakil got through my body and mind." She says slowly. "And I think I will vomit again." She clutches bedding in her fists, when spasm hit her body hard.
He give her bucket to trow up in it.She turn to side and vomit into it, holding herself up on her elbow.
Allassa:"Why cant they kill us faster, poisons are just... bleh..." She looks into bucket. "I don't think it is too good I am vomiting blood..." She dart with her eyes to him.
Haldir:"Healer said that your stomach is hurt by poison that is why you have blood he had it too but he finally fall asleep."
Allassa:"I felt my darkness healing me... but it is weak, How can poison got access to my darkness? It is not tangible, it cant hurt it physically..." She lay on her back again. "I can feel healing myself even now..." She close her eyes. "But it is only healing, it is not giving me strength or power."
Haldir:"I will lay next to you. I am tired and I still feel all that you feel poison cant take off your darkness it all in your mind just let your body rest and when it does then we shall take next step" He took off his boots and lay in bed.
Allassa:"What next step?" She turns her head on him and painfully slow lift her hand to lay it on his closing eyes and breathing hard, like she just run marathon and not make simple move.
Haldir:"To see your and my brothers condition healer will come back in morning" He make space for her and took her hand in his half awaken.
Allassa:"Okay..." She closes her eyes again and this time fall into darkness of sleep.

Allassa
I woke up twice in night to vomit poison out, Haldir must give me another antidote. Rumil was the same, but he eaten more of poisoned sauce, so he got antidote twice as much as me. I was asleep, when Healer come to check upon as, saying we will live, that the worse is behind us. She was surprised, when she saw dark markings on my body, that darkened through night, preparing my body to fight poison. Haldirs markings were eminent to world too, because he was supporting me through bond and thanks to it shared my sickness with him. I woke up before lunch and wanted water, I felt dry like fish on sun, Haldir gave it to me and I drink slowly, just a little and then he took it again and I wanted to protest but I was too weak, so I just lie down and closed my eyes, letting him massage my body again with water and oil from vial. He did the same to Rumil while I fall asleep again, it took all day till I finally woke up in next morning and Haldir took me in arms letting me use bathroom in Rumils house and then get me back to bed. Healer come and she was pleased with progress, saying to Haldir that me and Rumil just need now plenty of rest and that we will be fine in few days. I asked with rough voice that felt foreign even to me if I can be transferred home. She nodded saying yes, but Haldir has to carry me. Because I lost use in legs two days ago and I was weak like newborn human baby, Haldir has to take me in arms and get me home, laying me in our bed and go to prepare tea that I have to drink to get my strength of body back. Markings still dark on our skins, I watched him as he come to bed to me, like big predator crawling to my side, laying next to my side and pulling me to his chest holding me tight. That was exactly what I needed. To know I am not alone and that he is here. To feel him.
Haldir held her letting her drink and rest on his chest watching over her.
Allassa:"You should go and see how Rumil is doing too." She whisper silently. "I feel how afraid you are for him. I can take a while without you."
Haldir:"I am afraid for both of you that is why I put you both in same room Orophin is with him so he will call if something is wrong"
Allassa:"As you wish... did you find rest of that honey? I didn't use it whole, should rest of it be in pantry on left shelf.."
Haldir:"I give that honey to healer who look at you she will extract poison from it so we shall know exactly mix and amount of it but I am sure that is that white plant. I was poisoned by it once so I recognized your symptoms."
Allassa:"Stupid humans inventing things like that..." She sigh holding him around waist securely. "I still don't understand what you see in them, they just make my life horrible."
Haldir:"This is poison from herbs and until healer look we cant know if this is human doing they usually use this poison for defense on swords or when they wanna kill kings to take their place."
Allassa:"I wasn't speaking that human give us the poison, but I remember you saying, that this poison invented humans. And you don't look like king to me."
Haldir:"Yes they like to put poisons in food and drinks so no one could suspect it Glorfindel send a word he have delivered your letters."
Allassa:"Good... at least one good message in those days, I take it that Katsul will come two or three days before wedding." She nods, lifting herself up from him. "Can you let me go for few minutes? I need to use bathroom and I am thirsty."
Haldir:"She will" He took her up and hold her to support her walking.
Allassa:"Thanks..." They stop in bathroom and went back to bed, he gives her tea to drink and lay her back down, she curl herself and let him lay blanket over her, tucking her into it. "Still cant understand why you... why not Galadriel, Celeborn, heck even Glorfindel. Why you?" She looks up at him tired from walking.
Haldir:"Maybe get lost and get to us by accident and was meant for someone else?"
Allassa:"Yeah that can be reasonable too..." She nods looking at his hands where is his markings showing. "Put your shirt down mate."
He did as she wanted.
Haldir:"What is it?"
Allassa:"I think nothing serious..." She stretch her hand to him, signalling to come nearer to her and touch markings on his belly, tracing them with fingers.
He close eyes enjoying in her touch.
Haldir:"I have marks even on my face going from temple to the whole side of my face"
Allassa:"I see it yes.." She lift fingers to his face, tracing marks there too and trail over his neck to his collarbone and on chest. "They are beautiful... strong and dark, precise.." She compare them to her minor and finer marks on her hand. "And so male"
He look at her markings tracing his fingers over her arms and shoulders.
Haldir:"You only miss your markings on face."
Allassa:"Maybe they only got out when my body prepare for war and not when feel in danger?" She looks into his eyes lifting herself to him. "And I can finally kiss you without tasting blood and vomit..." She press her lips on his, kneeling on bed letting blanket fall down from her.He hold her with one hand on her neck and other in her hair kissing her slow and gently.She pull him more to edge of bed holding his sides and pressing herself on him. Allassa:"So hot. I missed being this hot..." She says to his lips, trailing light kisses to his neck and collarbone, laying her head on his breast.
Haldir:"I was all all the time hot, but over night when you was very bad I had to move from you. I run cold I though that we will die."
Allassa:"Why you didn't go to take that vial and let us drink it, so at least one of us can survive?" She kiss skin next to her, nuzzling herself and lick his nipple which she has near her lips. "I didn't feel you that night, even through bond, I was so sick.."
Haldir:"I wont abandon you. I didn't even think about that vial I only wanted to help you" He move hair from her face and look down at her caressing her cheek. "And that vial would broke our bond and my support to you and that could kill you."
Allassa:"Yes, that is true... I am happy that I and Rumil live through this. I really expected that night to be my last, it hurt so much and was cold and I cant heal myself properly..." She move from him, backing away into bed making space for him, sitting with her legs on side of her. "And I cant feel you, that was the worst. My senses was so overwhelmed that I cant feel you at all."
Haldir:"Better I used all my powers to share all pain with you. I knew that you will survive if I do that but I was so afraid for Rumil" He get on bed and sit in front of her.
Allassa:"Poor Rumil yes... but he is older and stronger than me but he got more poison in him..." She trail her fingers on his shoulder.
Haldir:"Yes he is but not much" He lift his hand into her hair and kiss her. "I am glad that you're better now."
Allassa:"I am glad too...." She lean back pulling him with her laying on bed returning his kiss and trail hands in his hair to his neck holding him in place.
He kiss her moving himself over her as she lay down.
Haldir:"Are you sure that this is good idea you're still vulnerable?"
Allassa:"Are you trying to tell me I can't kiss you?"
Haldir:"I am afraid that you wont stop only with kiss" He look down on markings on her body. "So beautiful lines they suit you well. I love how they follow your body line."
Allassa:"You want me I feel it but you are afraid that you will hurt me. I don't want to fuck with you I want to play."
Haldir:"Then if I play with you after that you have to eat something?" He look at her waiting for answer.
Allassa:"But I am not hungry." She look at him up. "I only want to enjoy you."
Haldir:"You have to eat I have made light meal for you" He lower down and kiss her lips and slowly slip his tongue into her mouth and trail fingers over markings on left side of her body.She moan into his kiss and caress his tongue with hers titling his head to side to show her his neck and touch his pulse with fingers of other hand.
He move his hair to make it easier to her.
Haldir:"I will after wedding definitely let Rumil to cut my hair then you will have elf with short hair" He tease her nipple with his fingers.
Allassa:"I am not sure if I have to be glad or terrified about it." She stiff under him.
Haldir:"Everyone said that I looked good different but good. Relax" He lover down on her neck kissing and licking her skin where pulse is.
Allassa:"I am trying..." She turn her head to side holding on his arms. "...I feel panic rising in me."
Haldir:"Why panic then. I wont do it relax enjoy" He move his lips on her collarbone.
Allassa:"Stop it..." She push at his shoulders looking frightened. "Haldir stop it!"
Haldir:"What is wrong?" He move fully from her.
Allassa:"I don't know. In one second I was happy to have you near and in another all my senses screamed at me danger and that you hurt me." She backs away from him making enough space between them.
Haldir:"Why would I do that? I would never hurt you" He get from bed looking at her don't understanding what just happened.
Allassa:"I know that. I am trying to understand why I acted like that..." She take blanket to her hiding herself in it. "Maybe my wolf woke up? Do you think she is thinking you try to hurt me because poison hurt her too? Or my mind is creating stupid ideas again... and I want to cry now."
Haldir:"Why she would think that I didn't poisoned her or you? I just don't understand how to help you?"
Allassa:"I will try to sleep maybe I am just exhausted and my mind is playing stupidities on me..." She lay down closing eyes.
Haldir:"Wait just try to eat his fruit that I cut for you healer said that will be good for start."
Allassa:"I am not hungry Haldir but thank you." She lay on her side with hands near her head.
He left fruit near her and sit at table.She fall asleep in few minutes relaxing her body and calming her mind.He hear knocking on the door and go to open elf give him report from healer he went back in room to read it.She turns to her back shivering lightly and then continue sleeping soundly.He look at her trough bond then continue to read.She moan from dream turning and tossing in bed under blanket.He go to her and wake her up.
Haldir:"Ally I am here tell me what is it?"
Allassa:"Hm?" She looks at him. "Tea?" She drink thanking him and reach to take fruit biting piece from it and eat. "Lay next to me I want you near now."
Haldir:"What was that are you sure you want me near you?"
Allassa:"You ask too many questions..." She narrow her eyes at him.
Haldir:"How not to ask when I don't know what is with you or how to help you?" He kneel on bed.
Allassa:"Why you think I need help now?" She watch him, her eyes transforming to black one as her darkness take over and immediately start healing her.
Haldir:"You have restless sleep you are afraid of me and you don't want to eat to help your body get stronger?"
Allassa:"At least I slept, do I look I am afraid of you now and I ate that fruit in the end, so I don't see any problem here. Until you want to make some." She sits up. "But fine. Do what you want, I will do that too."
Haldir:"You know what I don't have power to fight with you so I am going to dress and see what is wrong with Rumil's left leg"
Allassa:"Yeah,that would be better." She turn from him and lie down again hiding herself in blanket totally ignoring him and closing bond from her side sealing it with darkness. He took letter and dress shirt back leaving room.She wait till she is sure he isn't there and toss blanket away, reaching for gown and getting it on her silently standing and slowly walking to doors.He got into Rumil's house where healer was waiting for him.
Haldir:"Alright let's do it."
Healer:"Rumil bite this and we need to push this into your leg so the senses in your leg will come back when we realize some blood from it and after that I will heal you" They did as she said color in leg came back and he could move fingers again.She walks to her room, to her old bag, sitting on floor down rummaging through it and getting from it few flakons and vials and small knife, she drink from green vial and blue flakon, piercing her thigh with knife waiting for it to heal.
Allassa:"Slow. Like when I had barrier in me concealing my darkness..." She take blue flakon again smelling it. "Nothing wrong here..." She drink rest of it, waiting for while and then pierce again, she is healing faster now. "Better." She let knife still with her blood on it fall next to her and start breathing fully, relaxing herself completely, letting every shield and seal in her be destroyed and go deep into her mind and consciousness, falling behind on floor when she lost connection to her body, searching in herself.
Haldir:"So did you found out who was target?" Healer smiles to him.
Healer:"Yes I did, first when I helped you I went to the lady of light and she give me approval to get to the bottom of this then poison came from Mirkwood I mean herb but honey came from humans but it was not poisoned by them its poisoned here to end all healers in this kingdom"
Haldir:"So the kingdom is easier to destroy" He look back at her.
Allassa look inside of her at center of her darkness and healing power, where her inherited magic from both of her parents dwell, she feel that it was dying in her but now it is flaming stronger, she just help it by giving it her life essence to them to consume to get stronger.
Healer:"We have five dead healers and two who survived but their healing magic is gone for good you should look at them"
Haldir:"I will lead me to them" He follow her.
She feed flames in her, getting weaker and weaker, her body start to shut down, why she is focused on saving her magic and darkness, because she know that without them she just die, she looks up to hear growling and see silver wolf oppose of her walking to her and curl around center of magic and darkness while she black out completely lying motionlessly on floor of Haldir's house like lifeless doll not feeling anything. Haldir look at healers their powers was just shut down he use his powers to activate them and that worked out then he lead her back to Allassa so she could look at her again when they arrived they found her laying on floor like dead they fast start to act.
Healer:"She is in some kind of dream with wolf I will bring her back but you need to bring back her darkness if she die you will too she shut you out didn't she that is why you didn't felt this?"
They joined forces and work on her.She lay curled up against her wolf, warming each other and protecting core of her powers, when she feels power from outside, helping to cure flames they are protecting, she feels this familiar, she knows her mate found her and is helping her getting her energy she doesn't have because she given it to heal flames, she repaired one of them and other was still dying and now he helps her darkness feeding it, she lift herself from wolf and flies towards healing of him and healer, coming to herself with long gasp of breath.As she come back Haldir fall down blood coming from his nose,healer move to him letting Allassa to pull herself together.She goes on her knees and hands snapping for breath watching healer healing Haldir and only focus on breathing in and out.She heal him placing her head on his chest to hear work of his heart.Since healer could not do anything she blow in horn for help and in short two elves with Orophin were on door.
Healer :"Help me put him on bed he will be fine Orophin she drain his powers send elves do find her I have sounded alarm she will not leave this realm"
She lift her head when she heard horn, cussing in her head now that stupid elleth alarmed all elves, she hoped she could find culprit unprepared, she has his trail leading her into one of houses on edge of Caras Galadhon, she sniff around house to make sure she has the right one, jumping through window into room with small laboratory and ellon in it, she now know she was on right place, growling at elf before her who took knife at her, she jump at him they fight.He slowly wake up.
Haldir:"Where is she?"
Healer:"Shifted and run away stay down you want to die?!"
Haldir:"Let go of me" He move her hand and get up taking ring from hand and put it on chain around his neck he shift and run out following her steps running he was fast near house he got in trough window growling at elf who toss her aside now they both were ready to attack him.She circle elf on one side as he do it on other, she take jump to him, tearing his wrist open so he has to let knife go growling and shaking her head on him, trying to get to his neck to tear it open too letting wolf took over her completely, wanting only one thing.. eliminate danger.
Haldir push her away holding elf down so they could question him when she try again to kill him he bit her so she back away elves run in with Orophin archers and healer.
Healer:"Good work take her home and keep her there and yourself you are weak" They get him up she heal him and they took him away in dungeon of Lorien.
She wont let anyone get near her, she was barking and growling, chatter her jaws when they tried to catch her by chain on her neck, she wont let anyone near her not even Haldir who tried to get to her, she just growled more dangerous at him, her fur standing and her fangs visible, she slowly made her way with him near her to doors and outside but not wanting going with him home.He let her go tired of her odd behavior tired of everything he run home leaving her.She run into woods, deeper where she find resort in nearly disproved tree she got into its root on surface, looking now over one cut from elf licking it so it heal faster and stop bleeding and she feel bite at side of her neck from white wolf but she cant reach to it, so she just lie down, her head on her paws and rest, looking into forest listening if there is some pursuers after her.
Haldir run into house shift back dress and go to find others so they can get truth.
Glorfindel:"Kitten what are you doing here all alone?"
She lift her head and look at elf growling warning at him, standing up and back more into trees roots.
Glorfindel:"Whats wrong don't you recognize me? Shift back I will give you my tunic and cloak and help you go home"
She huff at him going out from her hiding place sniffing near him then sit down near him showing him bite she got from Haldir and cut on her side.
Glorfindel:"What happened here what in the name of Mordor you two got into?" He touch her head then he took off his tunic. "Shift back I will carry you if you cant walk."
She back from him back barking at him and hiding herself again in roots watching him and growling, when he tries to go near her.
Glorfindel:"Look better reason yourself. I cant help you in wolf form come or stay. I will go and find Haldir and then you will get another bite or he will just leave you, if you turn his love into hate. You and him are one and after all we be trough I thought that I earned some trust from you"
She lay down, with head on her paw again whimpering softly at him but stay hidden.
Glorfindel:"And what that mean? Did Haldir hurt you as elf? Did he betray you?" He put his tunic back. "I have to go to him and give him report I ask you last time are you coming or not?"
She lick her muzzle and turn her head from him to side to show him that she stays here in safety.
Glorfindel:"What are you afraid of? If you don't wanna come back why you wear that ring?"
Haldir:"Leave her Glorfindel if she don't want to come back she is free to go."
Glorfindel:"But what happened I don't understand anything?"
She lift her head when she hear Haldir and wiggle her tail, hammer it in ground and whimper softly to him, going a little out trying to see him.
He look down at her.
Haldir:"Come outside I wont hurt you."
Glorfindel:"Will you tell me now what happened?" He told him everything what happened how they get sick.
Glorfindel:"So why she is like this? She again lied to you and almost died. I have delivered all invitations if you are still interested in that"
She growl when she hear him say that she lied and go out fully, fall down on her belly and crawl to Haldir whining silently, totally showing of submission she shows him her belly when she get to him with tail deep between her legs.He touch her belly caressing her body under fur.
Glorfindel:"How long you think that you can keep up like this until you fall dead or we just find your body somewhere because of her stubbornness she need to talk with you and not to lie or shut you out do you both remember what happened last time?"
Haldir:"Enough I will talk with her you have no right to tell me what to do."
She stretch her head to Glorfindel watching him, while letting Haldir touch and pet her, then stands up abruptly and trot from both of them in direction of house but staying in hearing distance.He follow her with Glorfindel quiet not saying anything just walking and got up in house with him letting her get inside first.
She goes to room where she passed out, finding her ring here and carefully take it between her teeth and walk to Haldir and Glorfindel silently laying down by Haldirs legs and lie ring between her paws and her head on it, guarding it.He show her his around his neck.
Haldir:"What is wrong why don't you shift back?Do yo need me as wolf I don't understand you like this?"
She huff and look up at him, intensively into his eyes trying to show him, that wolf is here.
He look into her eyes.
Haldir:"What you cant shift back is that it?"
She shake her head as no and go down, huffing and then stay still playing dead for while, then lift her head looking at him and then at Glorfindel.
Glorfindel:"What someone is dead?"
Haldir:"I don't know what this mean what did you saw I don't understand" He look around. "Another wolf is here is that?"
She run to room taking one of Allassas tunic at back of chair and drag it with her, letting it go and sit behind looking at them and then shift, leaving unconscious elleth instead, slice on her side healing already leaving only raw bite mark on her neck unhealed.They both run at her.
Haldir:"Ally can you hear?" They both touch her searching for pulse on her.Pulse is normal and strong, she is only out, both her healing and darkness are in check all right.
Glorfindel:"Why she isn't awake look at her do something" He put on hand on her head trying gently to wake her up.
Allassa:"I promise, if he don't stop whining I am going to bite his head off...." She says and turn at her side curling herself in ball. "I am exhausted, I gave everything into flames in me to keep them alive. Oh and my wolf have probably her own mind in me."
Haldir:"That is impossible shifter and animal are one but you wont be so exhausted that you told me at first what is wrong you just shut me down and close bond" He help her dress and carry her in room to bed.
Allassa:"Because I was piercing my leg with knife, and I don't want you to panic and bleed too... There was something amiss with my darkness and healing, I feel more.. normal and it make me stupid behaving as you saw me before you left me... So I took some of my potions and it was like something in me was shutting me down, so I got to meditate and my darkness and elven magic was dying. So I just tried to give it my life essence to heal it, but it wasn't enough. And then she comes and defended it while I was resting and then you were here with that healer and I found smell of someone in me and I just let wolf take care of it and I don't remember anything after I shifted."
Haldir:"Great now your wolf is like mine super out of control .
Glorfindel:"Why you don't give her some power now to make her feel better? And how your wolf is out of control?"
Haldir:"If I don't shift regular he wanna go out and shut me to live just briefly and then he is peaceful again,and about that bleed out I didn't feel your pain but even when you shut me out and you do something stupid like this I will die with you when your heart stop so keeping me in dark wont help. I told you thousand times speak to me"
Allassa:"No, she isn't out of control. She is... I cant even belief she is out in me like this, this should be not... I should have only memories, this wolf was someones else and is dead... and was definitely male and my wolf is female. And no, I cant drain Haldir more. I just had in my mind, that I need to get that elf who did this to us.... and I think that best choice is to let my instinct take over. I let that happen." She lift her hand to her neck. "You did bite me!"
Haldir:"Yes I did you didn't want to stop we cant kill him we need answers but if you just stayed in house or told me what is wrong but no you have to confuse all run away without any explanation."
Allassa;"You are saying it like I never did it. I do it every time, you could get used to it..." She pales. "Haldir my ring! I don't have it, it must got down when I shifted.." She sits up, trying to get up. "I need to find it."
Haldir:"Here is your ring" He give it to her. "That is my point every time you do it we are closer death and if you want us dead just kill me and be over with it."
Allassa:"You always can drink that vial from Gandalf, if you are not happy about it." She let ring back on its place on her ring finger. "And I wasn't close to death, I should take him down he wasn't prepare for that ambush." She looks at Glorfindel. "My wolf inst happy with you, what did you do to her?"
Glorfindel:"What did i do are you for real can you hear yourself he was sick from worry about you and that is all you have to say? I didn't do anything she wanted to bit me and she act like I want to kill her"
Allassa:"I want you to leave." She says quietly but in strong voice, looking at hands in her lap. "Now."
Haldir:"Leave go to my brother and be there so I can reach you fast if I need you."
Glorfindel:"Then I will and no goodbye kiss?"
She wont answer him and still don't look at him.
Allassa;"Haldir I wanted to say I am sorry, Again. Looks like I just will never mature as I want. I forget that I will take a honorable elf as my husband and I don't want to let shame on your family with my behavior, so it will be better for me to really stay hidden from public things as was suggested. I am sorry again."
He look at her then kiss her forehead.
Haldir:"Wait just to escort him out I will be right back" He escort him to the door.
Glorfindel:"You are angry too on me?"
Haldir:"No of course no we will talk later go in peace" When he left Haldir go back to Allassa and sit on the edge of bed.
Allassa:"Did you give him that goodbye kiss he demanded?" She watch him.
Haldir:"No I didn't he just asked if I am angry on him and I told him that I am not and that he can go peaceful."
Allassa:"I see." She look back at hands in her back. "I messed up today again big time, didn't I"
Haldir:"Unfortunately yes but that is not what angers me its angers me how small trust you have in me and how easy you risk your life when you have me to help you."
Allassa:"f you want to punish me, do it now and don't speak around in riddles. You know I trust you completely. And I didn't want to anger you."
Haldir:"I don't want to punish you. You're living being like me and this poison was enough and things before it so I don't need to make your life more difficult then it is."
Allassa:"But as your future wife, when I will become you wife you will have to do something to punish me and show my place, that what males do, when their woman do something bad.." She looks at him not understanding.
Haldir:"I am no man I am elf and you are not my wife still but since you was sick I cant risk your health just to punish you."
Allassa:"I said male. I was not dying race. But next time, when I will be your wife and do something... stupid again, you will punish me, to save your face before others, right?"
Haldir:"Yes I will because I don't know how much I will be able to look away from your disobey but now sleep and I shall do same in morning we shall talk."
Allassa:"Yes, I am still exhausted after all today..." She lay down under blanket. "Will you sleep here? Or in other room?" She asks not looking at him turned to face him but has already closed eyes.
Haldir:"Yes I will sleep here" He took off tunic and lay in front of he.
Allassa:"Okay. Good night then?"
Haldir:"Good night try to rest" He look at her then turn his back at her.
Haldir:"Yes.. good night.." She turn herself away from him too, trying to fall asleep as fast as she can.
He close eyes and fall asleep fast happy that this day is behind of them.
She lay in bed awake for more hours until exhaustion finally let her go to sleep.
