SUMMARY: Casey wanted to be rid of hed lid life in Britain and start again in USA with the guys. But could she.
"You need to put your seatbelt on please."
Casey opened her eyes and looked into the face of the stewardess, she sat up put her seat belt on and watched as Heathrow came into view.
Her husband was there to meet her.
"How did the film go, will it be a roaring success, better still will you get another award for this one, what's it called?"
"Return of Sauron, LOTR 2." she rep. "I. "I just want to go home and have a bath and an English meal, I'm fed up with American stuff, I swear I've put on a stone or two."
"You look good to me," he said, "will you be alright for the premier at the weekend?"
"I'll be fine."

The camera's were everywhere, the fans were screaming for her husband,
"and here is the star of the film and his beautiful wife Casey, who is an accomplished writer, Mr David Duchovny could we have a few words please?" While David was talking Casey was thinking about Annie in America with Will, who would probably be watching this right now, and someone else would be there watching with them, asking Annie all about it, why she never told him about her marriage, would she ever be coming back to America again, etc,etc,
'poor Annie, I shouldn't have lived a double life while I was there, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't resist him.Casey thought to herself.
"Come on babe." David said, "are you ok?"
"Yeah, just a bit of jetlag I guess, I'll be alright." she replied.
"Just get throught tonight and you can relax," he said hugging her and he didn't let go all night.
When they eventually got home Casey fell asleep almost straight away.

"You were dreaming of the film last," he said gently in the morning while they were having breakfast.
"Was I?" she eyed him hoping she didn't give any secrets away, "What was I doing/saying?"
"You were talking about Annie and the star of your film what's his name?"
"Elijah Wood, I told you I got so invoved I almost became part of everything over there." Well at least I didn't give any secrets away Casey thought. "I'd better give Annie a ring, see how she's getting on her own over there."
"I thought she was with that Will Smith fella." he said.
"She is, but I've come home and left her there for the first time ever."
"Before you do that," he stood her up, put his arms around her and kissed her gently, they made love on the breakfast room floor, Casey had to fake it for a while, then she just let the vision of Elijah come into her head and she made love to him while her husband made love to her.
The day went by slowly, Casey couldn't get the gang out of her head, everytime her mobile phone rang she hoped it was one of them, but it wasn't. She got more and more miserable as the day went on. She couldn't wait any longer.
"Hello,"
Hi Annie, how are you?" she said nervously.
"CASEY!" she heard on the other end, "it's good to hear you, well what are you doing back there, I thought you decided to stay over here and never go back to him."
"You got the video phone on line?" Casey asked her.
"Yes, why?"
"It would be good to speak to you while seeing you, I'll meet you on line in a few mins."
"Ok Annie." the phone went dead. The computer clicked in, the screen came up, the internet clicked on and two minutes later the picture of Annie emerged.
"Hello again Casey ," she said
"Look, before we say anything else I want to say sofor for leaving you to explain everything like that to all." Casey said.
"Don't worry, I thought you would do something like this someday, how's Dave?"
"He's fine, is there anyone else with you, cos I want to talk about something?"
She looked around then looked back at the screen. "Only Will, why what's up?"
"I'm gonna divorce David and come back over, I can't stand it here anymore, I want to be where I am happy and with my family, how is everyone, the gang, Elijah?"
"Everyone's fine, Elijah had a few hundred questions to ask me when he saw you at the premier." she replied.
"How'd he take it?" Casey asked.
"How do think? the poor guy was broken in two when he heard the words 'husband and wife', you never told him anything about your life over there did you?"
"I hadn't planned on falling in love, getting invovled," she sighed. "God I miss him so much Annie, do you think there will ever be another chance for us, I love him, he's in my thoughts all the time."
"Well you hurt him pretty bad you know, but you never know, he still love's you, but it'll take alot, when are you coming back? I need to know when to get things ready for your return." Annie said.
"I've booked a ticket for tuesday, I'll arrive wednesday morning at 10.35, are you going to meet me?"
"I'll be there Casey, look I gotta go, but give me a call tomorrow, um 9.30pm your time, ok?"
"Ok Annie, it's good to see you again. I love you, love you all." Casey said sadly.
"I love you too Casey, just before you go give Will a wave." She swung the the camera round and Casey saw Will smiling and waving and on the sofa beside him was Elijah just staring at the screen, the hurt screaming through those big blue eyes, then the camera went back to Annie.
"Now he knows how you really feel Casey, and it's about time, no more secrets left is there."
Casey just looked at her and said "THANKS!" and with that she turned off the screen and just sat there. she wasn't annoyed with her for long, Casey knew she was right.

"David I want a divorce." Casey said out of the blue.
He froze in his tracks, then turned and looked at her.
"I thought you'd never ask, it hasn't been right between us for about 18months, everytime you called there was no love in your voice, the other day when we made love, it wasn't there was it?"
"I've fallen in love with someone else." they fell silent for a while,
"How much is this going to cost me?
"Just the cost of your solicitor, I don't want anything from you, I've got what I need over there, I want this to be civil and friendly, do you agree?"
"What are you taking from here?"
"Just my clothes and personal things, I don't want anything else, do you want anything from me?"
"No, just your friendship." he replied.
"You'll always be my friend." she hugged him. "Thank you. I'm leaving tuesday morning, early."
No more was said that evening, it was almost as th noh nothing was ever discussed.
Sunday morning came and he was packing a suitcase for his trip away. As he went out the door he turned back and looked at her, he winked, "take care of yourself Lady." and then he was gone.
Casey twinged with sadness as she heard his car drive off.
"Take good care my dear friend," she said quietly, and then started to pack her things.
