Title: The Orli Chronicles - Follow Your Heart

Pairing: Orlando / Viggo, Craig / David, Sean / Karl and a lot of other

Summary: The first story in the series. Takes place during the Lord of the
rings shoot. Orlando
has some problems finding his feet and becomes entangled with another cast
member who can�t stand him. And to put more hay on his fork he falls for one of
his cast mates.

Chapter
5 � Scary Situations

�Thanks
PJ� Craig said as he got out of his car and walked to the sliding doors leading
into the hospital. He spotted Viggo sitting in the waiting room and walked over
to him. �How�s Orlando
doing?� he asked as he sat next to his friend.

�He�s
in surgery� Viggo said I�m still waiting for news from his doctor.�

Craig
nodded and sat down next to Viggo. They just sat like that for a while until
they saw Doctor Montague (Orlando�s
doctor) walking towards them.

�How
is he doing?� Viggo asked as he stood.

�He�s
going to be fine� she replied �But he�s going to be here for a while. He had
developed infection in his ankle. I don�t know what caused it but we�re still
waiting for the results from the blood tests. He was very sick and will be
until the antibiotics fight the bacteria.�

�Can
we see him?� Viggo asked and she nodded.

�Yes,
you can see him but he�s still very tired and weak from surgery. We had to open
his ankle up to clean out the infection and the drainage tube needs to stay in
for at least another day.�

Viggo
and Craig nodded and followed her down the hall.

�Don�t
worry about seeing him� she said as she opened the door to Orlando�s private room �Just pop in any time.
I heard he doesn�t like hospitals a lot so you need to try and keep his spirits
up. He�s going to be in some pain due to the tube so it will help seeing you as
much as possible.�

After
thanking her again they both made their way into the room.

Orlando was resting peacefully
in the bed. An IV line was running into his arm and a heart monitor was clipped
to his finger. He was completely covered with a blanket which prevented them
from seeing his ankle. He sleepily opened his eyes as he heard Viggo�s voice.

�Hey
guys� he smiled sleepily.

�How
are you feeling Orli?� Viggo asked as he sat down on the bed next to Orlando �You scared the
shit out of us.�

�What
happened?� Orlando
asked �I felt fine this morning and then I don�t remember a thing that
happened.�

�You
fainted in the bathroom� Craig said as he sat down in a chair �Doctor Montague
said you had some infection in your ankle. You�re very lucky to be alive since
it could�ve killed you. How are you feeling?�

�Sore�
he said �My stomach cramps like hell. And my ankle feels like someone has
stabbed me with a pitchfork.�

�You
just relax� Viggo said as he pushed Orlando�s
unruly curls out of his face. �You ankle will be sore for a while since they have
to drain the infected matter away. The doctors say you should rest.�

Orlando nodded and settled
back, his eyes starting to close. �I�m so tired� he murmured softly, causing
both Viggo and Craig to smile affectionately.

�Sleep
Orli� Craig said �We�ll see you later. Just lie back and relax.�

Orlando nodded. �Love you Vig�
he whispered before he fell asleep, making Viggo gasp and Craig smile.

�Love
you too angel� Viggo said as he gave Orlando
a kiss on his forehead �Love you too.� The he motioned to Craig and they left Orlando to rest.

�So,
he�s going to be okay?� Sean asked and Viggo nodded.

�Yep�
Viggo replied �They�re keeping him for tests and some scans but Doctor Montague
said no stunts or anything for at least six weeks.�

�That�s
fine� Fran said �We need him fit and ready. I don�t want him getting further
injured because he�d not ready to start shooting again. You just keep him still
and rested.�

Viggo
nodded and walked to his trailer to get his make up done.

�Vig
wait up will you� he heard a voice and turned around. Sean came walking up to
him. �Did you decide on Karl yet?�

�I
haven�t had time to talk to Orlando� Viggo said �But he�s probably going to
take some legal actions against him, I�ll see to it.�

Sean
nodded but didn�t say anything. Instead he just said bye to Viggo and went to
his own trailer.

******

It
was near eight o clock when Peter was finally satisfied and called it a day.

Viggo
trudged to his trailer and quickly removed his make up and got dressed. He then
got into his jeep and took off to the hospital. He greeted the nurse on duty
and strolled down the hall towards Orlando�s
room. �Hey baby� he said as he placed a kiss on Orlando�s cheek.

�Viggo�
Orlando sighed
and opened his eyes, a soft smile on his face.

�Sorry
I�m so late� he said �But I�ve got something for you.� He pulled a large teddy
bear out and placed it in Orlando�s
lap.

The
young Brit�s eyes lit up and he gave Viggo a hug. He then did something that
Viggo really didn�t expect. Orlando
wrapped his arms around Viggo�s neck and kissed him full on the lips.

Viggo
was startled for a moment but then he relaxed and felt himself returning the
kiss. He felt Orlando
probing his mouth with his tongue and allowed it access to his mouth.

The
kiss continued for a while and when they finally pulled away in need of air, Orlando gave Viggo a shy
smile. �Thank you� he said softly.

�I
love you angel� Viggo said as he hugged Orlando
to him �And I care for you and never want you to leave me. Karl is never going
to hurt you ever again. I will personally see to it.�

�Thanks
Vig� Orlando
said and rested his head against Viggo�s chest and sobbed quietly �I love you
so much.�

�Easy
Orli� Viggo soothed, as he rubbed the younger man�s back in comfort. He felt Orlando relax and when he
pulled the Brit softly away, he saw that he had cried himself to sleep in
Viggo�s arms. Viggo smiled affectionately and gently lowered Orlando to the pillows. �Sleep tight angel�
he said as he gave him a kiss and left the room.

Orlando moaned softly and
pulled the bear closer to his body.

�I
don�t believe it� Craig said as he looked at Viggo, whom had told him what had
happened at the hospital.

�I�m
also a little overwhelmed� Viggo said as he packed away the dishes. �He seems
better though and doctor Montague said he should be able to come home in two
weeks.�

�Finally
some good news� Craig said as he rinsed the sink and switched off the light, heading
to the sitting room.

Viggo
nodded before saying goodnight and heading upstairs. He fell into a blissful
slumber with the kiss playing over and over in his head.
