Chapter 6 � Back To Normal, Or Not

The following morning
dawned much too quickly in Viggo�s opinion. He smiled as he thought of Orlando. Getting out of bed, he went into the bathroom to take a
shower.

After enjoying
breakfast, they both drove down to the hospital to go and visit Orlando. They were surprised to find him fast asleep resting
comfortably under the covers.

�Good morning� Doctor
Montague said as she entered the room as she looked at his chart. �He had a
rough night,� she said, checking Orlando�s vitals. �We had to give him some stronger painkillers to
help him get some sleep.�

�Poor Orli� Craig
said as he and Viggo sat down on the chairs �How is he doing?�

�He had a slight
fever� she replied �But all his vitals are stronger than two days ago. He�s
healing and getting stronger. His body needs the rest.�

�That�s good news�
Viggo said and smiled as he saw the bear snuggled tightly to Orlando�s chest.

They sat with Orlando for a while and then moved to the set to begin the day�s
work.

Craig finished much
earlier than Viggo that day and decided to look in on Orlando before he headed back home. �Hey Orli bear� he said as he
entered the room.

�Hey Craig� Orlando smiled as Craig moved to sit down in the chair next to the
bed.

�Glad to see you�re
awake� Craig said, �You were out like a light when we were here earlier.�

�Rough night� Orlando replied looking around �Where�s Viggo?�

�He�ll be by in a
while. He was still busy shooting when I left� Craig replied, smiling as he
noticed Orlando�s eagerness to see Viggo �But that�s fine, since I need to
speak to you about something important. I want you to be truthful to me
please.�

Orlando nodded and Craig saw him still holding the bear that Viggo
had given him.

�What do you feel for
Viggo?� Craig asked.

�You know?� Orlando asked and Craig nodded. The Brit sighed and looked at one
of his closest friends. �I only thought it was admiration but the last few days
I�ve been feeling much closer to him. Yesterday evening I knew Viggo felt the
same way when we talked.�

�He�s loved you for
some time now� Craig smiled �He was ready to strangle Karl today.�

�What happened
today?� Orlando asked as he leaned back and rested his head against a
pillow. He was still a little loopy from all his medicines.

�He made fun of you
again,� a voice said from the door. Viggo felt his heart skip a beat as Orlando gave him a warm loving smile.

Although
pumped full of pain medication, Orlando was still able to look very
happy to see Viggo.

�Hello angel� the
Dane said as he walked into the room and placed a kiss on Orlando�s temple.

Orlando smiled and took Viggo�s hand, pulling him to sit down on
the bed. Smiling, he cuddled closer and rested his head against Viggo�s
shoulder, sighing contentedly. �What did Karl say today?� he murmured.

Craig smiled at the
affection shown between the two. They really did care a lot about each other.

Orlando looked close to dropping off as he sat next to Viggo.

** FLASHBACK **

�So where�s the prissy prince� Karl snarled as he walked to
his mark to begin shooting his scene for the day.

�That has nothing to do with you� Miranda said as she looked
at him.

�Well excuse me� Karl said �I didn�t know that talking about
him was off limits. It�s not my fault that he�s such a wuss
that can't handle a tumble in the river.�

�You take that back you bastard� Viggo snarled as he looked
at him.

�Well fuck you. Or shall I say go fuck Orlando. You two look
so close nowadays.� Karl said as he turned as walked away.

�Leave it Vig� Dave said as he held Viggo�s shoulder �He�s
not worth it.�

�You�re right� Viggo said and sat down in a chair to calm
his nerves before he let his and Orlando�s secret
slip.

** FLASHBACK **

�Oh nothing serious� Viggo said as he noticed Orlando�s
eyes drooping. �Why don�t you get some more rest?� he said, tucking a stray
curl behind Orlando�s ear.

�Hm
mmm� Orlando purred as he leaned against Viggo and started to drop off.

Viggo smiled and took
Orlando�s hand in his, rubbing calming circles with his thumb.

�Vig� Orlando murmured �Will you guys stay here with me for a while?�

�Of course� Viggo
said.

�Good� Orlando sighed �I don�t like being alone, it scares me.�

Craig cast a shocked
look at Viggo but the Dane could only look down at a sleeping Orlando in shock. Something was very wrong and Viggo made a note to
himself to find out what that problem was.

�What was that all
about?� Craig asked as Orlando dropped off.

�I have absolutely no
idea,� Viggo said as he lowered Orlando�s head to the pillow and pulled the covers up to his
shoulders. His eyes followed the liquid dripping into Orlando�s IV line and flow into his arm. It made him realise how
close he came to losing Orlando.

�Hey guys� a voice
broke Viggo from his thoughts.

�Hey Dom� Craig said
as the actor walked into the room.

Dominique grinned as
he saw Orlando sleeping in Viggo�s arms. He knew Orlando liked his co-star and was glad they had finally gotten
together. �How is he doing?� he asked as he sat down as well.

�Better� Viggo said
as he looked at Orlando when the young man softly moaned in his sleep. �He�s just
exhausted from the past few days.

�What does his doctor
say?� Dominic said, smiling at the two lovebirds �Is he going to be okay?�

�Yip� Viggo replied
�He�s still a little weak, but he went through quite a big operation, so it�s
understandable.�

�Of course� Dominic
said �What�s the update on Karl�s attitude towards Orli?�

�We�ll get to that
when Orlando�s better� Viggo said, ending the topic, not wanting to
upset Orlando further if the actor could here what they were saying.

-------------------------
2 � weeks later
-------------------------

�Easy Orli� Viggo
said as he held Orlando around his waist �I�ll be right here. We have all the time
in the world. Take it easy and slowly.�

Orlando nodded and with Viggo�s help made it through the doorway.
He smiled as he looked around the house.

Nothing had changed
in the two weeks that he had been gone. The house was still as warm as always.

�Home sweet home� Orlando said as he leaned against Viggo.

Viggo, standing
behind the young Brit, wrapped his arms around Orlando. Hugging the younger man from behind he
said, �Welcome home angel.�

Trusting Viggo to
support him, Orlando placed his hands on Viggo�s. Turning his head, he leaned in
and kissed Viggo. �I love you Vig� he said softly and smiled.

�Same here
angel� Viggo said, kissing him again �Same here. Come on, let�s get you warm and in bed.�

Orlando nodded and Viggo helped him up to his room. �Can I stay
with you?� he asked, looking at Viggo.

�What is it Orlando?� Viggo asked, steering them towards his own room
�Something�s scaring the shit out of you and I would really like to know what
it is. Please tell me what�s bothering you angel.�

Orlando looked up at him and sighed. �I�m afraid of losing you,� he
said as they sat down on the bed. �I�m afraid of waking up and realising that
everything was just a dream and nothing more.�

�Don�t you worry�
Viggo said as he helped take off Orlando�s shoes. He crawled onto the bed and pulled Orlando down next to him, pulling the coverlet over them.

Sighing and still
sleepy from the pain medication, Orlando fell asleep, snuggled comfortable against Viggo.

That was how Craig
found them when he came home two hours later. Smiling at David, he closed the
door before allowing the dark haired actor to accompany him to his room,
shutting the door quietly behind them.
