Summery: A story of 2 brothers whose exploration leads to
untold danger.
A dark blue and gray blur swished past Elrond’s study
door, followed by a short yell and loud crash. Elrond walked slowly into the
hall and shook his head to the sight of one of his twin sons lying on the
ground soaking wet, and covered with cut flowers from the large vase that was
shattered about him. His son looked up and gently smiled, "Morning Adar"
Elrond couldn’t help but smile back, “Fair morning to you
my son, in a hurry I see… are you hurt?”
“Nay, I’m fine.” Elrond assisted
his son to standing, “Shall we to morning meal? Where is your other?” “That was why I was in such a hurry Adar, we
were racing to breakfast.” Elrond
looked at his son quizzically “Hmmm, which one are you?” His son rolled his eyes, “Elrohir. I’m wearing blue and gray. Elladan is wearing gray and blue.” Upon entering the dining hall, Elrond
sighted Elladan who was wearing the exact same outfit.
Elrond watched as Elrohir sat next to his brother. The two reached for each other and embraced,
placing their faces in the crook of each other’s necks and with a tight squeeze
they released and glanced at their father.
“Whaaat?” they questioned in unison.
Elrond smiled, “Nothing… you both know I love you a great deal.” The twins rolled their eyes and smiled as
Elladan started, “Ada, this is not
going to be one of…” Elrohir finished
“…those mornings where you recount stories of our youth, is it?” Elrond shook his head, “Nay, I will not
torture you this morning.” All three
smiled and laughed, enjoying their food as Elrond silently thanked the Valar
for blessing him with the rarity of twins.
Suddenly Elrond became quiet, sat up straight and quickly began looking
at the papers next to his plate.
The twins noticed Glorfindel standing in the archway. They smiled slyly to each other. Elladan turned, “Ahhh, Glorfindel, come
in!” They both then noticed their
father starting to fidget. He entered, placed his hand to his heart and bowed
his head, “Good morning Lord Elrond.”
Elrond looked up, “And to you.”
The Seneschal handed him a stack of papers, “Here are the latest reports
on the borders.” Suddenly, Elladan
jumped up, grabbed Glorfindel by the shoulders and flopped him down into the
chair next to their father, causing him to let out a breathy “Umph.” Elrohir quickly poured some tea and placed
it in front of him with a plate of fruit.
Elrond shook his head, “Boys!”
They ignored their father and said in unison, “Please join us for
breakfast, Glorfindel.”
He looked from one twin to the
other, “It’s rather disturbing when you do that…. oddly fascinating, yet
disturbing just the same.” Elrond
rubbed the bridge of his nose with his thumb and middle finger and groaned, “You
have no idea.” Glorfindel picked up his
tea and raised it to Elrond before taking a sip, not missing the slight smile
and blush on Elrond’s face. Glorfindel
thought to himself, ‘My, how
beautiful he is…is he blushing? Wait, yes he is blushing, I acknowledge
him and his blushes?’ Glorfindel
smiled, “Lord Elrond, thank you for the tea, I….” Elrond put up his hand
“Elrond, just Elrond please, Glorfindel.”
The twins looked at each other
with devilish smiles. Elladan suddenly
stood “Oh no Ada! We totally forgot, we cannot view the new
section of the gardens with you today.
We have other plans!” Elrond gaped at his sons confused, “What? I had no
pl….” Elrohir cut him off “It would be a shame for you to walk them
alone.” Glorfindel leaned forward “It
would be my pleasure if you would allow me to escort you thru the
gardens.” Elrond’s eyes widened
slightly “Oh, I’m sure you have more pressing matters to attend to.” He slowly shook his head “Nay, I’m
completely free for the rest of the day,” he stated while he leaned back in his
chair and sipped his tea. Elrond nodded
“Very well then. Say midday?”
Glorfindel stood and nodded “Midday, then.” After the eldar left the room Elrond glared at his sons. “What do
you boys think you are doing?!” Elladan
smiled, “Really, Ada, its so…” Elrohir stepped forward, “obvious that you
both”… Elladan finished, “like each
other.”
Elrond sat back, knowing he was defeated. “Very well, so
what are your plans for this day?” “We
thought we would go riding.” Elrond
shook his head at their duel speech.
“Alright then, have fun.”
The twins urged their horses on to a small glade. When
they dismounted, Elrohir dropped to the ground. “Ahhh, the grass is so soft here.” Elladan smiled down at this brother, “My
dear other, you look beautiful there, laying prone in the long grass.” Elrohir smiled up at him, “So where are we
off to this day, the river? The
waterfall? The gardens? The rock mounds?” With every shake of Elladan’s head, Elrohir became more and more
worried. “Well, where then?” Elladan helped his brother up. “I thought perhaps we could check out the
fields”. Elrohir’s eyes widened, “The
fields?! I thought Ada said we were not
to go near that part of the borders.”
Elladan shook his head, “Ada sent me there a time back, to
wait for and escort a delegation from Mirkwood. He would not have sent me there alone if it were that
dangerous, we would go to that same spot.
I wish to see the field again”. Elrohir
gave his brother a cautious nod. “What
does it look like?” Elladan smiled and
hugged his twin, giving him a soft kiss, “Vast…. no trees, some large boulders
far off. I did not enter it, I stayed
in the tree line, but it was unbelievably vast, with tall grasses …you’ll
see.” Elrohir squeezed his brother
tight. “Alright, let’s go then.” They mounted their horses and took off to the
Northeast border.
They reached their destination and stopped their horses at
the tree line. Elladan glanced over at
his twin whose eyes were wide and jaw dropped open. “Well?” Elrohir shook his
head slightly. “There is so much….
nothing…. vast… nothing… no trees, bushes, flowers, nothing just rough
grasses.” Elladan urged his horse close to Elrohir and took his brother’s hand
as they both just starred out into the open field. Elladan leaned over and whispered “Gives me the chills, I mean,
no trees at all, when I was waiting here for the delegation I was here alone,
and kept getting the worst feeling of unease.”
Elrohir quickly shot a look to his brother, “Yes, that’s it, yes unease,
that’s what I feel.” Elladan winced,
“Um, brother, you’re crushing my hand.”
Elrohir smiled ”Sorry.”
They stared out at the vast expanse for quite some time, when suddenly Elrohir curled
his nose and looked to his brother, “What in Arda is that smell?” Elladan shook his head, making the same
face, “I do not recognize it.” The
twins felt their horses begin to stir beneath them. Elrohir looked to his
brother, “I don’t like this Elladan.”
Before he had a chance to respond they were knocked from their horses
and darkness came.
Elrond stood at the entrance to the gardens, nervously
pulling at the threads of his robe ‘Why did I let the boys go’ he
thought. Elrond glanced around and noticed
Glorfindel just leaning against one of the trees, smiling at him. “How long
have you been there,” he asked.
Glorfindel walked over, “Long enough to wonder how long it would take
you to unravel your robe thread by thread.” Elrond pinched the bridge of his
nose and let out a nervous, “Uhah.” Glorfindel slowly places his hand on
Elrond’s shoulder. “I …. I got you something.” Elrond raised his eyebrow. “Why,
I mean, well why would you… it is not my begetting day.” The seneschal shook
his head and shrugged, causing one of his braids to fall over his ear as he
handed Elrond the gift. “Well, I saw it and thought of you.” Elrond smiled and
unwrapped the soft cloth and let out a slight gasp when he saw a beautiful
mythryl stickpin with a fine red jewel at the tip. “Glorfindel, I…. thank you,
it is exquisite.” Glorfindel took the pin and put it in Elrond’s collar. “I am
glad you like it.”
Elrond reached and tucked Glorfindel’s braid back behind
his ear and smiled as he gestured toward the path “Shall we?” The eldar put out his arm, Elrond took it
and they slowly started down the path in silence.
Elladan blinked and shook his head, “Wha…. What happened?”
he whispered. He looked around and noticed his wrists were bound behind his
back. Attempting to get to his knees, he called out, “Elrohir?” “Shh, Elladan
quiet,” Elrohir whispered. Looking about he noticed their horses were
slaughtered and chopped into a pile. Elladan made his way to his brother and
saw that he was bound as well. “What happened”? Elrohir’s eyes darted
about. He whispered only one word:
”Uruk-Hai”. Elladan whipped his head around and felt his blood drain “Nay” he
whispered and huddled next to his brother. “How many?”
Elrohir leaned in close. “I am unsure, Elladan, what are
we to do, Orcs are one thing… but Uruk-Hai?” Before he could answer, a large
warrior approached, grabbed the twins by the neck, brought them upon their
knees and glared at them both. “Two as one before me, let us see how one you
are?” It grabbed each twin by the chin and drew its face close to Elladan’s
eyes, “Hmmmm, fire I see in you!” It then drew close to Elrohir’s eyes and
snarled “Ahh but uncertainty I see in you!” He grabbed him by the arm,
dragged him a few feet away and flopped him to the ground.
Elladan tried to stand, but was stopped by a blade to the
throat. Another Uruk-Hai had shored up behind him, wrapping his arm around his
chest, holding him in his kneeling position.
The Uruk-Hai kicked Elrohir about the gut and chest, and
then brought a heavy fist down upon his face.
Elladan wriggled against the unyielding blade, “Nay! Elrohir! Nay Daro Saes!” A dazed Elrohir was lifted
slightly as the Uruk-Hai took his blade and cut off Elrohir’s braids. Elladan’s eyes teard “oh, nay,” he whimpered. Elladan’s eyes flew wide as the Uruk-Hai
beat Elrohir limp and proceeded to pull and shred his clothes from his body.
Still dazed, Elrohir could barely hear his twin, and the coppery tang of blood
overpowered his taste. When he was finally able to focus, he saw his twin being
held from behind with a blade to his throat, suddenly he felt a hand grip his
neck from behind, raising him to his knees.
Complete awareness returned when he realized he was naked and could feel
the Uruk-Hai’s flesh touch his, he shuddered uncontrollably against the pain,
and tried to wriggle his wrists loose, but as he struggled, the bonds became
tighter. He was not going to be able to free himself.
Elrohir squeaked out a weak “Elladan?” He glanced at his
twin only to see him wide eyed and sobbing, struggling against the blade and
yelling, “Nnnn….nnnay!” Elladan choked his breath as the Urk-Hi in one swift
thrust breached his twin. The scream issued from him made Elladan’s stomach
churn and bile come to his throat. Fresh tears welled and fell from his eyes
but he could not take them off Elrohir, who with every stabbing thrust let out
a gut-wrenching scream.
Elladan choked out desperately,
“Elrohir! Saes! Do not leave me! Saes!” After what seemed an eternity, his
brother’s screams died down. The Uruk-Hai gave several brutal thrusts, yet
Elrohir was only capable of letting out a weakened and breathy “Uuuhhh.” The
Uruk-Hai laughed at his broken prey, and with renewed strength continued to
thrust as he cut the twin’s bindings. Elrohir flopped forward to the ground as
the warrior held him by the hips, forcing whimpered cries from him. Elladan
repeatedly begged, “Elrohir saes live! Do not fade! Do not leave me my other, I
love you!” But Elrohir had stopped
making any noise at all and just the thrusting grunts from the Uruk-Hai
remained.
Elladan shivered and whispered,
“Elrohir?” Just then two arrows whistled through the air and struck the
Uruk-Hai in the head and back, before he could take a breath he heard another
whistle and a third arrow sliced through the air past his face into the head of
the Uruk-Hai holding him.
One by one the arrows flew. Elladan gasped as a young
blond elf withdrew twin blades from his back, cut his bindings and resumed his
slaughter of the Uruk-Hai, slicing through them like a river. Elladan crawled
to his brother and cradled him “Elrohir, brother, saes stay with me” he
whispered into his twin’s ear. Elladan finally looked up and saw the blond elf
removing his bedroll and satchel from the horse. Throwing them aside, he
quickly brought his horse over: “Take
my horse and take him to help!” Elladan
just starred at the blond elf. His jaw
gaped wide. The elf grabbed Elladan and
shoved him onto his horse, picked up Elrohir and handed him to his brother. “Go
now!” Elladan grabbed his brother and asked the blond elf, “But what of you?”
The blond elf shook his head, “Worry not of me. I will follow your
tracks.” With a smack of the hand to
the back of the horse, he yelled, “Go!”
Elladan clung to his brother and pushed the Elf’s horse to
its limits until he reached Rivendel. Several city guards, seeing him approach
at such speed, rushed out to intercept him. As they drew closer, they saw that
one twin held the other. They passed
and circled, coming up on his side. Elladan yelled, “Ride ahead and get our
father! We will meet him at the healer’s!
Hurry, Elrohir, was violated by Uruk-Hai!” The guards gasped wide-eyed
and without a word jolted their horses away. “It’s alright my dearest other,
saes stay with me, we are almost there!”
Elladan carried his brother to the healers, sighting his
father and Glorfindel standing in the hall. “ADA!” he screamed through his
tears and Elrond rushed to his sons and assisted Elladan in carrying Elrohir
into the chamber and placing him on the table. Elrond pulled Elladan away from
the table as a group of healers began on the battered twin. Elrond immediately
started to strip Elladan of his blood stained clothes. Elladan looked his
father in the eyes, “Ada, it’s Elrohir” he whispered as he pointed to the table.
Elrond let out a strangled groan, “Elladan, my son, I need to check you.” Elladan shook his head, “They did not hurt
me! They… made me watch. Ada! I could not help!” Elladan cried out as he
dropped to his knees, then whispered, “I could not help him.” Elrond knelt in
front of his son and removed his outer robe and wrapped his eldest son in it.
Elladan sobbed into his hands, then abruptly jumped to his
feet. “Ahhhh! The Blond Elf!” Elrond grabbed him by the shoulders, “What blond
elf, son?” Elladan took a deep breath, “He came out of nowhere and put two
arrows in Elrohir’s attacker, and then one arrow in the face of the one holding
me, his arrows flew… then he pulled out twin blades and cut me free before
resuming his slaughter… Ada, he killed
them all! He was as fluid as water, he
placed me on his horse, and gave me Elrohir. He said he would follow our
tracks, Ada, I left him there, what if there were more Uruk-Hai, I left him
there, I had no choice, someone must go find him! He saved our lives!”
Glorfindel pulled Elrond into the hall “I think I know who
he speaks of” “Who?” The seneschal rubbed the side of his neck, making it
creek. “There is only one blond elf that I know of who uses a bow, twin blades,
moves the way Elladan described, and would be a fine enough warrior to take out
a small band of Uruk-Hai… Prince Legolas Thranduilion.” Elrond’s eyes widened, “And he was due to
arrive here to receive lessons from Erestor… someone should go retrieve him.”
Glorfindel caressed Elrond’s cheek “I will prep my horse and take his with me
and bring him back… go to your sons. They need you…. Not to worry, I will find
him.”
Glorfindel retrieved Asfaloth and approached the horse
that Elladan returned with, “Hello there, my beauty” he whispered, stroking the
horse’s mane. “Will you please assist me in retrieving your rider?” The horse
whinnied and turned toward the stable doors. Glorfindel mounted Asfaloth and
followed the mare out of Rivendel and Northeast.
A short time later he spotted a blond elf off in the distance.
The mare ran straight to him, and stopped. Glorfindel approached, “Ah, I knew
it would be you prince Legolas…Mae govannen.”
Legolas placed his hand to his heart and nodded. “Mae govannen,
Glorfindel. It has been some
time.” Glorfindel dismounted. “I have
come to retrieve you at the request of Prince Elladan”. Legolas looked at him
confused.
Glorfindel placed his hand on Legolas’s shoulder. “The two
elves you saved were the twin sons of Lord Elrond.” Legolas winced. “I heard they were identical.” Glorfindel let
out a sigh, “Yes, but from what I can tell … they no longer are… Elrohir’s face may have permanent scars.”
Legolas looked to the ground and shook his head, “I saw what that Uruk-Hai did
to him… I hope he lives, I have heard
that twins rarely survive the passing of their other.” Glorfindel nodded, “Yes,
and poor Elrond, first his wife, now possibly his sons.” Legolas looked over at
the eldar, “Findel, you called Lord Elrond in the familiar, have you finally
made your feelings known?”
Glorfindel nudged him with his elbow, “Daro, only just
this day we walked the gardens alone for the first time…due to the twin’s
mischief, Elrond was forced to spend the day with me, though it did turn out
well. He is interested… yet, after
this… I know not how to proceed.” Legolas pinched Glorfindel’s ear. “Ai Legolas
cease!” Legolas kept his grip. “Nay I
will not cease, Findel… you have been pining for Lord Elrond for years… now that you are in the door the best thing
you can do is to offer your support. He
will need you and will be grateful later.”
Glorfindel looked to the direction of Rivendel, “It is
getting dark, we should hurry back”. Upon their arrival at Rivendel the
seneschal and Legolas made their way directly to the healing wing. Elrond and Elladan
were sitting on a stone bench in the hall outside the healing chamber. Elrond sighted Glorfindel and approached
him. He drew close and apprehensively
made to hug the Seneschal and let out a released sigh, when Glorfindel extended
his arms and pulled Elrond close, hugging him tightly. Elrond buried his head
in Eldar's chest and whispered, “I am very relieved you have returned.”
Glorfindel squeezed him possessively, and gently kissed Elrond’s ear. “I am
glad that I may be of some comfort to you at this time.” Elrond looked him in
the eyes and smiled, letting out a small sigh. Elrond backed away a bit, “Did
you find him?” Glorfindel, not letting Elrond go, held him in a loose grasp,
looked over his own shoulder and nodded.
Elrond peered around Glorfindel’s side and noticed Prince
Legolas leaning against the wall a few feet away. Noticing he had been seen, Legolas uncrossed his arms and stood
straight, placing his hand to his heart and bowed slightly, “Lord Elrond.”
Elrond wriggled loose from Glorfindel and grabbed Legolas into a deep hug,
“Thank you for returning my sons to me.” Legolas backed away, keeping his gaze
to the ground. “I am only sorry I did not happen upon them sooner.”
Elladan stood, slowly walked over and without a word or
eye contact, tentatively wrapped his arms around Legolas’s waist and placed his
head on his shoulder. Legolas glanced
over at Glorfindel, confused, but slowly wrapped his arm around Elladan and his
other gently stroking his hair. Elladan
whispered, “Hannon Le” and gripped Legolas tighter.
One of the healers opened the door and motioned for Elrond
and Elladan to enter. They did, and the door was closed behind. Legolas re-crossed his arms and leaned back
against the wall. “Findel, if you do not stop that pacing….” Glorfindel let out a soft chuckle. They stood silently for a while, when the
door to the chamber suddenly flung open and Elladan ran out and down the
hall. Elrond ran out of the room.
“Elladan saes! Come back!” Elrond clenched his fists, leaned his head back
and let out a strangled “Aaaaaggghhha”!
Glorfindel immediately grabbed Elrond and pulled him close. Legolas slowly and quietly slipped away and
headed for the stables.
Glorfindel found Legolas at the stables several hours
later, tending and talking to his horse. “How is he?” Legolas inquired. Glorfindel furrowed his brow. “He had
finally slipped into reverie, only because I placed a sleeping herb from the
healers into his tea. Elladan is
nowhere to be found, though.” Legolas
gave him a mild smile, “I know where he is, he has been watching me for
hours. He is in the tree next to the
statue of King Gil-Galad, I take it the news about Elrohir is grim.” Glorfindel
nodded. “I am afraid so, the short of it is that Elrohir regained consciousness
and came to realize his face and body were permanently marred, he begged
Elladan to allow him to sail to the undying lands to join his mother, and then
expressed his hope that Elladan would remain here to live and love for they
would be a proper pair again when Elladan finally came to the undying lands
with a full life of stories to share…
this request obviously did not bode well with Elladan. He was always the more dominant of the twins,
doting on Elrohir... he will feel lost without him… we will have to watch him
closely so he does not fade.”
Legolas shook his head, “All my siblings have passed from
Orcs, Ungols or Wargs… none of them
were lucky enough to pass to the undying lands…. I would have wished that for
them, but then, they were not of the twin seed.” Legolas looked back to
Glorfindel, who nodded and placed his hand on Legolas’s shoulder. Legolas
massaged his mare’s neck. “Findel?
Would you please take her inside for me?” Glorfindel smiled, “Of course.”
Legolas slowly turned and made his way to the tree by Gil-Galad’s statue and
looked up. “Elladan?” He was met by silence. Legolas gave a gentle sigh,
“Elladan, I know you are up there… you cannot hide from me in a tree…. I am
a wood elf, after all.”
After a few moments the leaves rustled and Elladan dropped
down beside him. Legolas looked him from top to bottom and slowly reached
forward to wipe the tears from Elladan’s face. “You’re a mess…. come with me.”
Elladan allowed Legolas to take his hand and followed as he led him to the
baths. When they arrived, Legolas caressed his cheek and slowly started to
undress him. Elladan gave no response. He stood mutely, staring at the floor in
a daze, allowing Legolas to take control over his body without protest.
Legolas moved in close and slowly removed his own clothing
and escorted Elladan into the water. He stood silently in his daze as the
Mirkwood Prince gently undid his braids. Placing a generous amount of sweet
scented shampoo into his hands, Legolas massaged Elladan’s scalp, gently
brushing his fingertips behind his ears, the nape of his neck, then quietly
inspected Elladan’s hair and lightly tanned skin. ‘My, he is a beauty and mild
wisps of hair on his chest… hmmmm, must be from being a half-elf’ he thought to
himself.
After a few moments Elladan closed his eyes and let out a
long, soft sigh, and Legolas could feel through his fingertips, that the elf
relaxed slightly. The prince moved
away, to grab the pitcher, and noticed Elladan give a slight breath and glance
toward him. He was happy that there was some kind of response. He dipped the
pitcher into the bath and slowly poured the water over Elladan’s head,
repeating the action over and over, he lathered his hands with soap and gently
placed them on Elladan’s shoulder blades and slowly massaged his back with the
scented soap. Elladan's head dropped lower and he whispered softly, “You…”
Legolas stopped and leaned in to Elladan’s ear, “Yes?” “You… you have strong hands,” he whispered.
Legolas gave a tender smile and let out a small laugh “thank you”, he resumed
lathering his hands and moved to Elladan’s front, placing his soapy hands on
Elladan’s chest and resumed the message.
Legolas continued slowly, fascinated by the feel of the
soft hair as it slid between his fingers. Elladan let out a slight murmur of
response to the princes ministrations, enjoying the feeling of the strong
archers hands pressing and rubbing into his hair. Then, Elladan let out a small
gasp as Legolas’s calloused finger brushed over his nipple. Legolas withdrew
his hands with speed, “Sorry…. I just…. Have never experienced hair upon the
chest of another elf…. I am sorry if I am making you uncomfortable.” Elladan
reached out and took Legolas’s hand and placed it back on his chest. “Nay, I
just… I wasn’t prepared for the way a archers fingers would feel.” The Mirkwood
prince blushed and started to rebraid the elder twin’s hair. Elladan placed his
hands on Legolas’ biceps “I do not want Elrohir to leave,” he whispered and
grabbed Legolas into a hug and began to sob.
Legolas wrapped his arms around him, “I know. But he will be with your Naneth and you will
have your Adar… being separated from your other for a time will be very hard,
but think of your Adar, losing his mate and both his sons? He will need
you and you him.” Legolas led him out of the bath and dried him off “Elladan,
go to your other.”
A month had passed and Legolas watched as Lord Elrond,
Elladan, Glorfindel and Erestor said their farewells to Elrohir. Elladan
embraced his twin. They hugged, burying
their faces in the crook of each other’s necks. “Be at peace my other and
please give my love to Naneth.”
Elrohir nodded, “And you my other, live and find love, then you may tell
me all about it when you come in due time and we shall be a pair again.”
After another four months, Legolas was finally finished
with Erestor’s teachings, and went straight to the gardens. “Ahh, finally
finished, I see.” Legolas looked up from the patch of flowers in which he was
sprawled, “Good day, Lord Elrond… yes, finally I am finished.” He took a deep breath, “Lord Elrond? I….”
“Yes Prince Legolas, what is it?” Elrond raised his brow smiling down at
him. The prince stood “How is Elladan fairing?” Elrond quirked his lips, “mmmm…. that is what he asked me of you
this morning, I personally believe his braids need to be tended… Elrohir was
the only one he ever let touch them…. well, except when you did them that time
in the bath…” Legolas blushed and gave a slight smile. “That is where he is
now.” And with that Elrond turned and walked away.
Legolas made his way to the baths and found Elladan
peacefully floating in the warm water. “Elladan?” he gently called. The remaining twin stiared then stood and
made his way to the edge “Ai, prince Legolas, please, join me?” Legolas removed
his clothes and lowered himself into the warm pooling bath. Elladan slowly swam his way closer, and
stood in front of Legolas. “Adar says
my braids are in need of care… would you assist me?” Legolas did not hesitate and began to undo Elladan’s braids but
to his surprise Elladan reached forward and started to undo the princes
braids. They worked together,
untangling and running their fingers through each other’s hair when Elladan
took Legolas by the ears, pulled him in close, and kissed him.
When he released him they were out of breath and flushed.
“Elladan. I….” Elladan rubbed his cheek against Legolas, “You what, you
beautiful Archer” Elladan cooed as he ran his fingers up and down Legolas’s
smooth chest. “I would love to give you the comfort you seek, but….” Legolas
trailed off as his own hands made their way to Elladan’s chest. “But what my prince” Legolas breath was
labored and his hands became more forceful with their play upon Elladan’s
chest. “I am a Mirkwood Elf, you know
the chance you would be taking.” Elladan grabbed Legolas by the shoulders and
slowly but firmly turned him around and placed tender kisses upon his shoulder
blades and neck as Legolas leaned forward over the edge of the bath. Elladan caressed Legolas’s smooth, taut
backside, “This oil bath will help ease the way… I will be gentle,” he
whispered into the prince’s ear. “Elladan…truly if we are to do this…. are you
prepared for the possible consequences?”
Elladan slowly spread the prince’s legs and laid his chin
on his shoulder. “Yes, I understand and I will not let you go.” And with that, Elladan bit Legolas’s
shoulder as he slowly entered him. Legolas let out a hiss at the intrusion but
slowly calmed and began to accept his new lover’s gentle thrusts. The water
leaped and splashed gently over the sides of the pool as Elladan moaned and
placed his forehead in between Legolas’s shoulder blades, wrapping his arms
under the prince’s and placing his hands up over his shoulders. Legolas could feel Elladan’s labored breath
on his back as he pulled the prince down upon him as he thrust, Legolas
whimpered at the intense yet slow coupling, finally losing himself calling
Elladan’s name and after a few more thrusts Elladan followed.
Many months had passed and
Elladan sat again with his father on the stone bench outside the healer’s
chamber. Glorfindel ran down the hall.
“How is he, will he live?” Elladan
looked at Glorfindel with a worried look on his face, slowly twisting the
bonding ring on his finger and shuddered, “They… don’t know yet.”
Finally the door opened and the healers ushered the three
in. They looked at a very exhausted Legolas, lying in the calming bed, Elladan
met his lovers yes, seeing the smile on Legolas’s face he smiled back, taking
